After Xia Zijin left the banquet hall in anger, Fu Yunshen gave Tang Yi a somewhat resentful look, and said with a hint of dissatisfaction:
"How about that? Pretty loyal, huh? The duck that was about to be eaten flew away."
After hearing this, Tang Yi patted him on the shoulder and laughed, "That's enough, that's enough. You're a true brother."
Fu Yun Shen sighed deeply, and said with great distress, "It looks like I'll have to spend tonight alone."
Then he looked at Ye Huanhuan and asked, "I just don't know what Lily did to upset my sister-in-law? She actually tried to pour wine on her?"
Ye Huanhuan explained, "Young Master Fu, I'm so sorry, I just realized that this Lily is my former cousin. She's had plastic surgery, so I didn't recognize her at first."
Upon hearing this, Fu Yun Shen's face showed a hint of surprise. "So, your sister-in-law and Lily have a grudge?"
Ye Huanhuan nodded. "Yes, she took my place in college."
Fu Yun Shen twitched the corner of his mouth: "That's really unfortunate..."
Tang Yi, standing to the side, couldn't help but ask Fu Yunshen curiously, "How did you get to know this kind of woman?"
Fu Yunshen replied, "I met her a while ago when I was on a business trip by plane. She was a flight attendant."
"I see..." Ye Huanhuan nodded thoughtfully.
She turned out to be a flight attendant. It seems that Xia Zijing is doing quite well after taking her place in school.
Fu Yun Shen raised an eyebrow. "But this is a kind of fate, I guess. If I had known she was your cousin, I would have just sent her away."
Ye Huanhuan said gratefully, "Thank you, Young Master Fu. Actually, I only just recognized her, and I never expected to run into her here."
"Alright, let's not talk about her anymore."
Fu Yun Shen waved his hand, then turned to look at Tang Yi, a shrewd glint in his eyes:
"You have to compensate me for today's loss. It cost me 70 million, and I didn't even get to sleep with her. What a pity."
Tang Yi: "With our relationship, do you still care about 70 million?"
Fu Yun Shen didn't buy it and laughed, "Get lost! Even brothers keep clear accounts. Hurry up and transfer the money."
Tang Yi took Ye Huanhuan's hand, pretending to leave, "Huanhuan, let's go, there's a debt collector here, I suddenly want to go home."
Upon hearing this, Fu Yun Shen's face twitched involuntarily. "You little rascal! You're such a skinflint!"
Ye Huanhuan smiled and smoothed things over, saying, "Young Master Fu, I will compensate you for the loss of the necklace. Thank you so much for today."
Fu Yunshen quickly waved his hand and said, "Sister-in-law, I was just joking, please don't take it seriously."
Ye Huanhuan smiled slightly and said earnestly, "It's nothing, it's what I should give you."
Fu Yun Shen smiled helplessly, "How can I let my sister-in-law spend money? Consider this loss as a gift for her when we first met."
Tang Yi teased him, "You're a smart kid."
Fu Yun Shen rolled his eyes at him. "Do you think I'm like you? A ruthless skinflint who only takes and never gives?"
Tang Yi burst into laughter, "What do you mean by 'only taking in and not giving out'? That's called being thrifty and managing the household well!"
Fu Yun Shen snorted, "Come on, I think you're just stingy."
Upon hearing this, Tang Yi was speechless, finding himself unable to refute it.
Ye Huanhuan couldn't help but chuckle as she watched the two teasing each other.
It's no wonder we've known each other since childhood; our bond is truly extraordinary.
Just then, a commotion broke out in the banquet hall, immediately attracting the attention of the three.
They looked in the direction of the sound and discovered that it sounded like people were arguing.
How could such a lively event be complete without Fu Yun Shen?
His eyes lit up, and he quickly said, "Let's go, let's go see what happened."
So the three of them quickly walked toward the direction from which the sound came.
Upon closer inspection, one could see a man with very fair and delicate features, whose facial features were somewhat androgynous, arguing fiercely with another man.
Fu Yunshen asked those around him, "What happened?"
Someone replied, "Oh my, it's Young Master Fu! Did you see him? That pretty boy is the one that Sheng Tianxiang, the heir to Dingsheng Group, used to keep. I heard that Sheng Tianxiang got engaged, so he came to the banquet today to demand an explanation from him."
"What? That's amazing?" Fu Yun Shen asked in surprise.
"Yeah, you wouldn't believe it, would you? This Sheng Tianxiang, who's such a womanizer, actually likes men." The person speaking had a gossipy look on their face.
"Oh? That's quite exciting." Fu Yun Shen watched the farce unfolding before him with great interest.
"That's right, judging from the looks of it, that pretty boy isn't going to give up so easily," the man continued.
Fu Yun Shen stroked his smooth chin and commented, "Hmm, it's interesting. Today's banquet is quite lively."
The handsome man, with tears streaming down his face, accused Sheng Tianxiang: "You want to break up, so you just do it? What do you take me for? I've sacrificed so much for you, how can you treat me like this?"
Sheng Tianxiang said impatiently, "Are you done yet? Can't we talk about this back home? Why do you have to bring it up in this kind of setting?"
The man persisted, saying, "I won't let it go! You're the one who deceived my feelings, after all the love I had for you! I'm going to let everyone know your true nature as a scumbag!"
Watching this farce unfold, Ye Huanhuan felt utterly uninterested. She couldn't help but yawn. Tang Yi noticed her apparent fatigue and asked her:
"Are you too tired? Should we go back first?"
Ye Huanhuan shook her head: "No, I'm just a little bored."
