After Ye Huanhuan ran out of the basement, she found herself in an abandoned factory. She was soaking wet and her stomach was cramping. But she didn't care about any of that. She only had one thought in her mind: to escape.
She was completely unfamiliar with the place and could only frantically run around aimlessly.
Fortunately, the terrain of the abandoned factory was not complicated, and Ye Huanhuan quickly found the exit and ran outside the factory.
This factory has been abandoned for who knows how many years. Outside the factory buildings, apart from a passageway, the rest of the area is covered with weeds, which are as tall as a person.
Ye Huanhuan kept praying in her heart that the area outside the factory was not the desolate outskirts of S City. If someone passed by and saw her like this, they would at least call the police or an ambulance.
Unfortunately, Ye Huanhuan's hopes were dashed.
She stumbled and ran out of the factory, only to find that the outside was even more desolate than the inside. There were mountains and forests all around, not a soul in sight, except for a van and a car parked at the entrance.
Now, Ye Huanhuan was truly in despair.
what to do?
Am I really going to die here?
Just then, Uncle Liu limped up from behind, shouting, "Miss Huanhuan, I advise you not to run anymore. Save your energy. This isn't the city center. With your big belly, there's no way you can get out of here."
Upon hearing this voice, Ye Huanhuan felt extremely frightened.
Oh no, they've caught up!
Ye Huanhuan didn't dare to stop. She looked around and decided to run deeper into the jungle. As she ran, she kept looking back to see if Uncle Liu was catching up.
Uncle Liu initially thought that Ye Huanhuan, being heavily pregnant, wouldn't have run far. However, after he limped out of the factory, he discovered that Ye Huanhuan had already disappeared. He angrily cursed:
Damn it! It's all that madman Song Lin's fault, I'm going to kill him later!
Immediately afterwards, he took out his car keys, opened the car door, started the gas, and drove back the way he came.
Unfortunately, Uncle Liu drove around in his car but couldn't find any trace of Ye Huanhuan.
This made Uncle Liu even angrier.
Damn it, what a cunning woman, she's so good at hiding.
He drove the car back to the factory gate, then looked around again, trying to find any clues about Ye Huanhuan's escape. Soon, Uncle Liu noticed that the grass had been trampled. Uncle Liu was overjoyed and followed the trampling marks.
Ye Huanhuan didn't stop walking. Soon, she heard the sound of a car starting, and the car seemed to be getting further and further away from her, which made Ye Huanhuan breathe a sigh of relief.
Fortunately, they didn't run in the direction where a car had run over them; it seems that running deeper into the jungle was the right thing to do.
Fortunately, it was winter, and Ye Huanhuan was wearing long sleeves and trousers, as well as flat shoes. Along the way, she only suffered cuts on her face from thorns; the rest of her body was protected by her clothes, so she was not injured.
As she fled, it seemed as if some small animals deep in the weeds had been startled by her, an outsider, and there were constant rustling sounds, which added to her already anxious heart and made her even more frightened.
Despite her physical discomfort, Ye Huanhuan struggled to walk forward step by step.
Suddenly, she heard the sound of flowing water not far ahead. Overjoyed, she quickened her pace and walked towards the water source.
Ye Huanhuan came to the stream and was about to scoop up the water to wash her face when she suddenly heard the sound of a tree branch being broken behind her.
She turned around in alarm and saw Uncle Liu walking towards her with a gloomy face.
"Heh heh, let's see where you can run now!" Uncle Liu said viciously.
Ye Huanhuan could only retreat repeatedly, taking out the utility knife tucked in her sleeve and warning Liu Bo:
"Don't come any closer!"
Uncle Liu, however, showed no fear whatsoever, and even burst into laughter, "Miss Huanhuan, I'm not afraid of the knife in your hand. If you dared to kill me, you should have done it back in the basement. Now hurry up and come back with me, or... don't blame me for being impolite!"
Seeing that she had no other choice, Ye Huanhuan said to Uncle Liu, "I agree to go back with you, but you are not allowed to lay a hand on me before we get back!"
Uncle Liu was taken aback, not expecting Ye Huanhuan to agree so easily. "Are you serious?"
"Of course it's true. Look at me now, do I still have any reason to resist?"
Blood was already flowing from Ye Huanhuan's lower body, and her face was as white as a ghost, looking like she had reached the end of her rope.
Uncle Liu looked at her warily, stretched out his hand, and said, "In that case, give me the knife in your hand."
Without saying a word, Ye Huanhuan threw the knife in her hand into the turbulent river some distance away.
"Now you can rest assured, right?"
"you!"
Upon seeing this, Uncle Liu cursed with a dark expression, "I told you to give me the knife, not to throw it into the river!"
Ye Huanhuan sneered, "Isn't it all the same? I have absolutely no ability to resist now. Even without a knife, it should be easy for you to kill me, right?"
"Hmph!" Uncle Liu snorted coldly, gritting his teeth as he warned her, "If you try anything again, don't blame me for being impolite."
After saying that, he walked up to her, grabbed her hair, and headed back towards the factory.
Ye Huanhuan endured the pain in her scalp and obediently followed behind Uncle Liu.
With every step she took, her stomach ached unbearably, as if someone was hitting her stomach with a stick, causing her to almost faint from the pain.
Her steps grew increasingly unsteady, and she was in so much pain that she almost lost consciousness.
However, fate always seems to like playing tricks on people. When she reached the car, there was blood all over the ground beneath Ye Huanhuan, clearly a sign of severe bleeding.
Upon seeing this, Uncle Liu panicked.
