Seeing Ye Ru's pale face and swollen ankles, Ye Ting immediately picked her up in a princess carry, his eyes fixed on Herbert Smith as if he wanted to devour him alive.
"If anything happens to Xiaoru, I will never let you go. I will make you regret ever being born!" After saying that, he turned and left with Ye Ru in his arms.
Ye Ting's words made Herbert Smith's face turn pale with anger. He glared at Ye Haiming and, barely suppressing his rage, asked:
"Ye, give me a reasonable explanation! Otherwise, you should know the methods of the Smith family!"
Ye Haiming was inwardly groaning. He felt that the slap he had given Ye Ting was too lenient; he should have had Ye Ting's legs broken.

The two chatted for a while longer before Herbert Smith got up to say goodbye.
