After my divorce, I became the daughter of a billionaire.

The young woman speaking was none other than Song Lin's biological older sister, Song Xue.

The man in the wheelchair was Song Lin's father, Song Yecheng. The middle-aged woman following behind them was Song Lin's mother, Cao Cuiping.

A family of three had just returned from shopping in the port city when they unexpectedly witnessed this scene.

Xia Huanhuan remained silent, because she had already signed the divorce agreement, so the Song family members were no longer a concern to her.

Before Song Lin could speak, Song Yecheng, sitting in his wheelchair, frowned and asked in a low voice:

"Ah Lin, what's going on here?"

Cao Cuiping, however, seemed to have noticed something amiss. Seeing Lawyer Chen standing to the side processing documents, she cautiously probed:

"Ah Lin, what's Attorney Chen doing here? Could it be... you're planning to get a divorce?"

Song Lin did not deny it; he stared intently at Xia Huanhuan, his eyes filled with gloom.

"Mom, you're right. I called Lawyer Chen over because I want to divorce Xia Huanhuan."

Upon hearing this, Cao Cuiping's eyes lit up instantly, and she clapped her hands excitedly.

"Oh my, this is such a wonderful thing! Ah Lin, I've tried to persuade you so many times, but I never thought you'd finally understand!"

Upon hearing this, Song Yecheng couldn't help but smile with satisfaction.

"Haha, I see! That's wonderful! Divorce? Hmm, good riddance! Your mother and I have been thinking about this ever since we got back. We both think you should cut ties with this woman as soon as possible, lest she cut off the Song family line! That way, our Song family can have a successor!"

He nodded as he spoke, as if he was very satisfied with the decision.

Song Xue continued sarcastically, "Oh ho! Has the sun risen in the west or something? You're actually willing to get a divorce? Ah Lin, you're not just teasing us, are you?"

However, Song Lin's tone was unusually firm:

"Sister, I'm serious this time. I really do plan to get a divorce."

Seeing that Song Lin wasn't joking, Song Xue immediately dropped her sarcastic expression, but then turned her gaze to Xu Lu behind Song Lin, sizing her up and down, and said contemptuously:

"My dear brother, did you divorce Xia Huanhuan because of this woman?"

Song Lin explained, "This has nothing to do with Lulu; it's purely because Xia Huanhuan doesn't know what's good for her."

Cao Cuiping, standing to the side, couldn't help but burst out cursing, "Ah Lin, are you only realizing now that that woman is ungrateful? I've told you countless times, that vixen is good for nothing except seducing men. All she does is take our Song family's money to subsidize her own family. Take my advice, Ah Lin, when you get a divorce, you must make sure that Attorney Chen finds a way to get back the money he gave to her brother. We absolutely cannot let the Xia family gain any advantage!"

Song Lin nodded and replied, "Okay, Mom, you don't need to worry about this!"

Xia Huanhuan felt a chill run down her spine as she watched the Song family celebrate their decision to divorce Song Lin.

Over the years, Xia Huanhuan has been devoted and hardworking in the Song family. She works tirelessly from dawn till dusk, serving her parents-in-law with all her heart and soul, and always fulfilling her sister-in-law's requests. She is like a full-time nanny, busy all day long, starting with getting up before dawn to prepare a sumptuous breakfast for the Song family and continuing until the end of cleaning the entire villa.

Because Song Xue's daughter was allergic to hair, Cao Cuiping was dissatisfied with the nanny's cleaning work and simply fired her. From then on, all the dirty and tiring work fell to Xia Huanhuan. In addition, she also needed to massage Song Xue's father, Song Yecheng's legs every day and was responsible for picking up and dropping off Song Xue's daughter from school.

However, despite Xia Huanhuan's immense sacrifices for her family, no one respected her, and everyone could bully her at will. Her husband, Song Lin, was oblivious to her contributions, considering them trivial matters.

Whenever Xia Huanhuan complained to him, he would always dismissively advise her to be patient, as if it were all perfectly reasonable. In the eyes of the Song family, Xia Huanhuan was practically insignificant, her status even lower than that of a dog in the Song family.

Song Yecheng, being an experienced and shrewd man, immediately sensed the unusual relationship between Song Lin and Xu Lu. Therefore, he asked Song Lin:

"Ah Lin, isn't this the friend Xia Huanhuan often brings home? What's going on between you two?"

Hearing this, Xu Lu stepped forward, looked at Song Yecheng, and gave what she thought was a perfect smile, saying:

"Hello Uncle Song, I'm Alin's friend. My name is Xu Lu. I used to come to your house often. You should still remember my name, right?"

However, Cao Cuiping did not give Xu Lu a friendly look; instead, she launched an indiscriminate attack on Xu Lu:

"And where did you come from, you little vixen? What are you doing in our house? Are you trying to seduce my Ah Lin?"

After saying that, she glared fiercely at Xu Lu. After all, in her opinion, none of the people Xia Huanhuan brought back to the Song family were good people!

Song Lin's face turned extremely ugly. He frowned and said with a hint of dissatisfaction:

"Mom, what are you saying? I invited Lulu to the Song family. How can you talk to her like that! Please be more polite to her."

Song Yecheng noticed Song Lin's protectiveness towards Xu Lu, and his attitude softened accordingly. He smiled at Xu Lu and said:

"Of course I know your name, Miss Xu. Your aunt is just straightforward and sometimes speaks without thinking, but she doesn't mean any harm. I hope you won't take it to heart and please don't hold it against your aunt."

Xu Lu smiled slightly and responded softly:

"Uncle, don't worry, I understand. Auntie definitely didn't mean it, I won't take it to heart." Her smile was as warm as a spring breeze, making people feel good about her.

Cao Cuiping glared at Xu Lu again, letting out a disdainful snort, but said nothing more, silently thinking to herself:

This woman is clearly no good. We absolutely cannot let this kind of woman step into the Song family's door again, as we have done before!

Xia Huanhuan didn't want to stay here any longer. She quickly picked up her bag from the sofa and turned to leave the Song family.

Just then, Song Xue called out to her in an unfriendly tone:

"Xia Huanhuan, what's wrong? Are you leaving so soon?"
