"Don't worry, I won't do anything to you. I'm pregnant, and I don't want to go to jail!"
Ye Huanhuan sheathed her sharp edge, her eyes revealing resentment and unwillingness, and gritted her teeth as she said:
"Ye Ru, I admit I lost. I can't beat you. You must be very proud of yourself right now, right?"
Ye Ru continued to feign innocence: "What am I so smug about? Ye Huanhuan, what are you talking about? I don't understand. You were the one who pushed me down and slapped me, and now you're asking me this kind of question. Shouldn't you be the one who's smug?"

"Dare to do it but not dare to take responsibility?"
Ye Huanhuan said sarcastically, "You weren't like this in the bathroom! I admire you, you're really ruthless to yourself."
Ye Ru watched Ye Huanhuan warily, remaining silent, secretly wondering about Ye Huanhuan's true purpose in returning.
Seeing that the other party didn't respond, Ye Huanhuan continued, "You did all this just to make me lose face so that I would leave the Ye family, right? Now you've got what you wanted, Ye Ru, are you satisfied?"

However, at that moment, she noticed that Ye Huanhuan's trench coat pockets were somewhat bulging, and her face instantly turned gloomy.
She suddenly realized that things might not be as simple as she thought, so she immediately changed her tone, pretending to be aggrieved, and said:
"I know you've always hated me, even wishing you could kick me out of the Ye family. But now, it's you who's leaving the Ye family, not me. Do you think I'll easily forgive your actions just because you're being so aggressive? Don't be delusional!"
Then, she raised her voice and said righteously:

Hearing Ye Ru suddenly change her story, Ye Huanhuan's heart tightened, but she forced herself to remain calm and said:
"Ye Ru, stop pretending in front of me! I'm disgusted for you, even if you don't find it repulsive!"
Ye Ru interrupted directly, "Ye Huanhuan, that's enough! Can you stop being so self-righteous? You say I'm putting on an act, but aren't you the same? You put on such a good show on the surface, but you're a completely different person behind my back. If I hadn't noticed in advance, I probably would have broken more than just this leg today."
Seeing Ye Huanhuan's gaze grow colder, Ye Ru revealed a smug smile, then pointed a finger at her pocket and gave Ye Huanhuan the middle finger with utter contempt.
She knew that Ye Huanhuan was up to something, but luckily she was quick-witted and didn't get carried away, otherwise she would have really fallen for the bitch's trick.
Ye Huanhuan instinctively clutched her pocket, her face turning even uglier. She hadn't expected Ye Ru to discover the recording pen so quickly.
The whole thing she put on in front of Ye Haiming and his wife was to make Ye Ru think she couldn't beat her, which is why she left the Ye family in a huff, so that Ye Ru would become complacent and lower her guard.
She returned because she had put the recording pen in her pocket, intending to gradually coax Ye Ru into revealing the truth.
Unfortunately, Ye Ru was more cunning than she had imagined, and she discovered her purpose so quickly.

A victorious smile appeared on Ye Ru's face. Her eyes narrowed slightly, and a smug curve appeared at the corner of her mouth. Her voice carried a hint of contempt and mockery:
"You think you can trick me into talking by hiding a voice recorder in your pocket? Let me tell you, dream on!"
Seeing that her plan had failed, Ye Huanhuan took the recorder out of her pocket and threw it directly into the trash can.
"Since you already know, I won't pretend anymore. You're smart this time; I underestimated you. But Ye Ru, there's a saying that heaven is watching what people do. You'll pay the price for everything you've done today sooner or later."
Ye Ru's smile gradually turned cold, her eyes became sharp and fierce, and she made no attempt to hide her hostility towards Ye Huanhuan.
"Hmph, Ye Huanhuan, your little tricks can't fool me at all. I told you, you're still too green to mess with me. Get out of the Ye family and don't ever show your face in front of me again, or I'll make you taste what it means to be utterly disgraced!"
After saying that, Ye Ru pressed the emergency call button by the bed without hesitation, and then coldly instructed the nurse who rushed over:
"I need to rest now. Please kick this person out of my room. I don't want to see her again."
Ye Huanhuan's eyes were icy as she looked at Ye Ru, who was lying on the hospital bed with a smug expression, and she said through gritted teeth:
"I don't need you to have someone kick me out, I'll leave on my own!"
Having said that, she turned to leave, but stopped at the door, turned back and gave Ye Ru a deep look, her eyes filled with anger and resentment. She said, word by word:
"Ye Ru, you're ruthless!"
Ye Ru, however, paid no attention to Ye Huanhuan's anger. A victorious smile graced her face as she defiantly watched Ye Huanhuan's departing figure, and continued:
"Oh, and please remember to close the door when you leave, thank you."
An uncontrollable anger surged within Ye Huanhuan. She turned around abruptly and glared at Ye Ru.
But in the end, she held back. After taking a deep breath, she slammed the door shut. The door slammed heavily against the frame with a loud bang, seemingly foreshadowing her terrible mood.
Following the loud bang, the entire ward fell into a brief silence.
