"Alright, Xiangping, just say less."
The man beside him spoke up, "How about we discuss this again?"
"What's there to discuss? What's there to discuss?" Cheng Yue's mother glared at him.
"Hey, don't be in such a hurry."
The man reassured her, "Yueyue has a point. We can't just stand by and watch someone die, can we?"
Cheng Yue's mother was displeased. "I didn't say she couldn't save her, but we still have to get the money, right? Otherwise, why should our child suffer like this?"
The man nodded. "I know that, but ten million is too much. They might not be able to come up with that much."
"Don't even think about it if you don't have ten million!" Cheng Yue's mother said firmly.
Ye Huanhuan already understood. She asked Cheng Yue's mother, "Auntie, are you sure you'll agree to sign the papers for Cheng Yue to donate bone marrow for just ten million?"
Cheng Yue's mother glanced at her sideways, her attitude disdainful, "Yeah, so what, is there a problem?"
Ye Huanhuan shook her head: "Of course, no problem. I just wanted to confirm with you whether you only want ten million. If so, I'm willing to give you ten million."
Cheng Yue's mother looked at Ye Huanhuan in surprise, seemingly unable to believe her ears. Ye Huanhuan continued:
"Send me your card number, and I'll transfer the money to you right now."
Cheng Yue's mother looked Ye Huanhuan over again, a hint of suspicion and disdain flashing in her eyes:
"Are you kidding me? You're going to transfer it to me?"
Ye Huanhuan nodded and replied, "Yes, I'll forward it to you."
Cheng Yue's mother laughed out loud as if she had heard a joke, and said to Cheng Yue:
"Cheng Yue, is this really your classmate? Or is she some kind of lunatic? Ten million, not a thousand dollars, are you sure she can come up with that?"
