Tang Yi was stunned when he saw Liu Bo's appearance clearly.
"Uncle Liu! It's you!"
But in that brief moment, Tang Yi reacted immediately, his eyes filled with ferocity, and roared at Uncle Liu:
"What do you want to do to Huanhuan?"
Liu Bo struggled desperately, but he couldn't break free from Tang Yi's grasp at all.
Just as he was about to suffocate, he mustered his last bit of strength, pulled a small knife from his pocket, and stabbed Tang Yi in the abdomen.
Tang Yi, in pain, let go, and Liu Bo seized the opportunity to escape.
He suddenly rushed out of the room and bumped right into the nanny outside the door.
Upon seeing the baby in the nanny's arms, Uncle Liu had a sudden idea. He snatched the baby away and brandished a small knife, warning the nanny:
"Don't come any closer! If you dare come any closer, I'll kill this little thing!"
Ignoring his abdominal wound, Tang Yi hurriedly chased after him, shouting:
"Uncle Liu, don't be impulsive! I promise I can let you go, but you have to leave the child behind!"
"Hmph! Do you think I'd believe you?" Uncle Liu, holding the baby, backed away step by step.
Upon hearing the commotion, the bodyguards at the door rushed in and surrounded Uncle Liu, but none of them dared to make a move.
Seeing that their escape route was blocked, Uncle Liu held a small knife to the baby in his arms and said to Tang Yi:
"Make them back off, or I'll kill your son!"
Tang Yi had no choice but to wave his hand, signaling the bodyguards to step aside for the time being.
He struggled to control his urge to kill Liu Bo, softening his voice as he soothed him:
"Uncle Liu, please don't be impulsive. We can talk this over calmly. Can you put the child down?"
"Mr. Tang, there's nothing to discuss between us!"
Uncle Liu showed no appreciation whatsoever. He retreated while nervously looking around, searching for an escape route.
Suddenly, he noticed that there was no one guarding the stairwell, so he immediately turned around and ran towards the stairwell.
