Although He Yan's heart was churning and his stomach was cramping, he still acted very happy as his mother-in-law served him food. He ate one bite after another with a joyful expression. "She was at her cutest and most adorable when she was a little over one year old. Her little face was chubby and rosy, like a peach. I would pinch and kiss her every day, and I could never get enough of it."
Xiao Hua smiled happily as she recalled Kang An when he was even younger.
He Yan was stunned. He also saw that gentle and sweet smile on her face. She was so beautiful!
As if possessed, He Yan leaned in and stole a kiss on Xiao Hua's cheek without her noticing.
Xiaohua was stunned for a moment, and then a few years later she heard a "smack!"
A heavy slap landed on He Yan's face.

Xiaohua pointed at his face: "You have a slap mark on your face. If you go out and my parents and brother see it, they might think we had a fight! You stay in this room and don't go out!"
"We didn't argue, but we went straight into a fight! Ye Xiaohua, you're too domineering! You hit me and you're not even letting your family know you hit me! How can there be such a domineering and excessive woman in this world!"
He Yan really had a lot of bitterness in his heart but couldn't say anything, feeling like a mute eating bitter melon with no way to express his suffering.
