As soon as she entered the house today, Lin Yue ran over and stared intently at his hand.
"Hmm? Honey, why are you empty-handed today? I was hoping you'd bring me some braised pig's trotters."
"Want some braised pig's trotters? I'll make them for you. I'm not too comfortable with the ones from outside. It's fine to eat them once in a while, but don't eat them all the time, you little glutton."
Song Yunzheng hung his coat in the entryway, turned around, and pinched the tip of her nose.
Lin Yue pouted, intending to protest, but then she suddenly remembered Jiang Li's words and immediately smiled and took his arm.
"Honey, I'm not eating the braised pig's trotters anymore. I need to talk to you about something."
"Go ahead and say it, I'm listening." Song Yunzheng walked to the sink, rubbing his hands together as he looked at her.
"I'd like to go hiking in Fragrant Hills with Jiang Li this weekend, is that okay?" Lin Yue blinked her big, bright eyes, looking both lively and innocent.
"Is it only Jiang Li?"
Lin Yue nodded. "Yes, only Jiang Li."
Song Yunzheng was reluctant for her to go, subconsciously feeling that Jiang Li was unreliable.
"Do you really want to go?" he asked softly, looking down at her.
Lin Yue nodded emphatically, "I really miss it. I've been at home for so long, I'm practically moldy. Look, look, don't mushrooms grow on my head?"
As she spoke, she nuzzled her head against his chest.
Song Yunzheng hesitated for a while before slowly saying, "Okay, but go early and come back early, keep in touch with me at all times, and don't eat anything indiscriminately."
"Yes, ma'am!" Lin Yue immediately jumped up, hugged his neck, and gave him a sweet kiss.
