Spring arrived early, but the air still carried a hint of chill.
The security guard at the entrance of Chengye Building, with his hands in his pockets and his neck hunched, looked aimlessly at the crowds passing by. When he saw a leader's vehicle, he would subconsciously stand up and greet him.
Yunxi, who has always been engrossed in her work, finished early today, which is quite rare. She checked her schedule for the past week and found that she had no business trips or social engagements.
I got up from my desk, made myself a cup of hot tea, moved to the French windows, stood quietly, picked up the teacup and took a sip. The aroma of the tea spread in my mouth, allowing my mind to clear for a moment.
A moment later, she suddenly realized that she hadn't replied to her brother's messages all day.
Rong Youze recently went on a business trip to southern Jiangsu. He makes at least six phone calls and sends countless WeChat messages every day. Of course, all of these messages are to report his itinerary to her, followed by his concern for her well-being and whether she has eaten on time.
He seemed to really enjoy letting her know everything he did, from trivial matters in life to progress at work, he wanted to tell her everything in detail.
Yunxi would sometimes tease him by deliberately ignoring him, and he would send her voice messages, asking in a pitiful tone, "Sister, why are you ignoring me? Don't you want me anymore? Will you still love me after you go back from your business trip?"
He's really persistent.
Fortunately, Yunxi also enjoyed it.
Her slender, pale fingers swiped across the screen as she read his messages carefully with a smile. The last message, ending with the date of his return, ignited her heart like a fire with the anticipation conveyed between the lines.
Yunxi glanced at the time, her brow twitching slightly. "He's coming back today, you unlucky kid, why didn't you say so earlier?"
For such an important occasion as picking someone up at the airport, she wanted to dress up in a striking way; after all, a woman dresses up for the one she loves.
She hurriedly put on her coat, grabbed her car keys, and rushed straight to the elevator.
The moment I set off in my car, every pedestrian on the road seemed lovely. I hadn't seen him for a week, and I missed him terribly, and I couldn't contain my joy.
Fortunately, I was exceptionally lucky today; the roads were unusually clear, with no traffic jams whatsoever. I arrived at the airport half an hour earlier than expected.
The car was parked in the underground garage. Yunxi carefully touched up her lipstick in front of the mirror before elegantly getting out of the car with her bag.
The airport terminal was bustling with people. Amidst the crowd, a tall figure appeared at the exit. The number of people waiting to greet her was countless, and those around her would steal glances at Yunxi every now and then. The reason was simple: she was too beautiful, a beauty that was highly distinctive.
She raised her wrist to check the time. Only ten minutes had passed since she last checked. During the day, time seemed to fly by at work, but waiting felt exceptionally long.
"Hello." A young voice rang in my ears.
A sunny, handsome young man suddenly approached Yunxi, his starry eyes fixed on her.
Can I add you on WeChat?
Upon hearing this, Yunxi turned her head to look, paused slightly, and politely waved her hand, "I'm sorry, I'm married."
Upon hearing the word "marriage," a look of regret immediately appeared on the boy's face, but he was reluctant to leave, so he changed the subject again, racking his brains to say a few more words to Yunxi.
Out of politeness, Yunxi simply nodded in response.
The moment Rong Youze stepped out, he spotted Yun Xi in the crowd in just one glance.
Today she wore a gray coat over a black fitted long dress, paired with high heels in the same color scheme. Her graceful figure was unforgettable.
Her shoulder-length hair was both playful and capable, and her fair, snow-white face served as a backdrop for the surrounding crowd.
She noticed that the young man next to her was talking to her and holding his phone, seemingly trying to get her contact information.
The sweetness that was about to overflow in my heart suddenly turned into a whiff of aged vinegar.
After giving a few instructions to his assistant, Rong Youze quickened his pace and walked up to Yun Xi. Without even glancing at the boy beside him, he said in a cool tone, "Let's go home."
Yunxi smiled gently and took his hand very naturally. "Let's go."
On the way back, Rong Youze sat in the passenger seat, looking a little tired. Yun Xi glanced at him and said, "Why don't you take a nap? I'll wake you up when we get home."
He pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head. "I haven't seen you in so long, I need to hurry up and see you to make up for what I missed this week."
Yunxi chuckled and freed one hand to pinch his earlobe.
The traffic was unusually smooth today, and I arrived at Wanhua Mansion before eight o'clock.
Before she could even change her shoes, Rong Youze pressed Yunxi against the door and showered her with passionate kisses, like a raging storm, thirsty and fierce.
Yunxi felt his lips go numb, and all the air in his lungs was taken away. He only released the pressure when he could no longer breathe.
Just when he thought it was over, he suddenly picked her up and carried her to the living room sofa, where he pressed himself against her again.
Yunxi felt a chill on her chest as warm breath approached her...
At times like this, her heartbeat is completely out of control. Every time Rong Youze gets close to her, she gets very nervous, but at the same time, she is also very happy. These two feelings stimulate her brain nerves simultaneously.
Her slender, pale fingers loosely grasped his hair as she asked with difficulty, "Are you... going to eat or not?"
Rong Youze gently stroked the corner of her eye with his long fingers and said in a low, husky voice, "Sister, I'm eating right now. You have no idea how much I've missed you. Remember to take me with you next time you go on a business trip, okay..."
Her brain was completely blank, and Yunxi was unable to speak.
Suddenly, she felt a lightness in her body as her younger brother's strong, powerful hands easily lifted her back onto the big bed.
The dim yellow light from the bedside lamp shone on the curtains, casting two overlapping, undulating shadows.
In the still of the night, those faint, soft breathing sounds made one blush...
The thrill of absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Afterwards, Yunxi lay in Rong Youze's arms, breathing softly, her body limp and powerless. She closed her eyes and wanted to fall into a deep sleep.
Suddenly, she felt light as the man picked her up and carried her to the bathroom.
"Hey, where are you going?" Yunxi quickly hugged his neck and stared at him with wide eyes.
"Wash yourself clean before you sleep." A sly smile flickered in Rong Youze's eyes.
Yunxi struggled to get down, "I can do it myself, you go to the other bathroom to wash..."
Despite having been completely honest with each other many times, we've never actually showered together before, and just thinking about it makes my cheeks burn.
"I'll help you."
In the midst of the struggle, she was carried into the bathroom. Warm yellow light shone on her, as if she were draped in a golden robe, hazy and sensual, breathtakingly beautiful.
The man swallowed slightly, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down.
Yunxi hurriedly covered his eyes with her hands, "I...I'll wash myself, you can leave."
Rong Youze whispered in her ear with a soft laugh, "Don't worry, I won't do anything. I'll just help you wash up so you can conserve your energy. I'll take you somewhere tomorrow."
Where to?
"We'll find out tomorrow."
