The vehicle came to a smooth stop on the mountaintop. As soon as Yunxi got out of the car, she was deeply shocked by the scene before her. In the hazy mist, the continuous mountain range stretched into the distance, and a few remaining stars hung in the bluish-gray sky.
Gradually, the orange hue turned as intense as flames, and the sun, like a shy child, quietly peeked out from the horizon, its rosy face climbing upwards little by little.
The gentle sunlight shone on her face, and Yunxi's nose turned slightly red. She stared at it intently, her eyes unblinking, and a thin mist seemed to be gathering in her eyes.
Suddenly, the sun, like a vibrant young man, burst out with a "whoosh," beaming with spring breeze and full of youthful vigor.
The sky unfolds slowly like a golden scroll, and the world begins to awaken.
"Yunxi".
Hearing the sound, Yunxi sniffed, turned around, and froze on the spot. It was dark when she got out of the car, and she couldn't see her surroundings at all. Only the fresh fragrance of flowers, like wisps of smoke, entered her nose.
She looked around and felt as if she were in a magnificent sea of flowers. At the mountaintop, everything in sight was adorned with vibrant, dewy roses. Early winter dew clung to the petals, shimmering enchantingly in the sunlight.
While she was speechless with shock, Rong Youze knelt down on one knee. His features were exquisite, and his eyes were as deep as the sea. "Yunxi, I have been preparing this ring for ten years. I am so glad that I can kneel down before you with it in my lifetime."
"Yunxi, I'm 29 years old this year. For 20 of the past 29 years, I've loved you. Ever since I met you in kindergarten, I haven't been able to see anyone else, and I still can't. These years of silently waiting for you have been the best decision I've ever made. So, would you be willing to give me a chance to hold your hand and spend the rest of my life with you?"
Yunxi lowered her almond-shaped eyes, looking at Rong Youze in front of her, and the layers of green mountains behind her, with fiery red roses blooming all over the mountaintops for her. She smiled, and glistening tears glistened deep in her bright eyes.
"I do." Her voice was soft, yet as firm as a rock.
