Su Wenqian raised an eyebrow, a sly smile playing on his lips. "Director Ye? This is truly a golden opportunity. Not everyone gets the chance to be in such a privileged position."
After hearing his shameless words, Xu Muyao raised his fist and punched him again, saying, "If you don't want that damn mouth of yours, you might as well donate it!"
Su Wenqian, however, did not care at all. He swaggered past Xu Muyao and walked up to Jiang Ye, his eyes exuding a natural charm.
"Hello little sister, let me introduce myself. My name is Su Wenqian, you can just call me Brother Qian."
Jiang Ye smiled slightly and generously extended her hand, "Hello, my name is Jiang Ye, you can call me A Ye."
Just as Su Wenqian was about to take her hand, Xu Muyao quickly walked over and stood between the two of them.
"Go in."
Jiang saw his protective behavior and was secretly pleased.
The bar had a pleasant atmosphere; it was quiet and comfortable, and Jiang felt that as soon as he walked in.
Of course, she also felt the fiery gazes of the people in the booth falling on her.
He stood in front of her, protecting her as she sat down on the double sofa next to him, while he sat beside her.
However, Xu Muyao pressed his body against the sofa armrest, intentionally keeping his distance from her.
Jiang also looked down at the "Milky Way" distance between the two of them, feeling slightly dissatisfied, and her beautiful eyebrows furrowed slightly.
She smoothed her baby hairs from her forehead, her arms as supple as willow branches supporting her on the sofa seat. She took a small step toward him, then glanced at the man beside her with a mixture of reproach and delight. Seeing that he didn't react, she couldn't help but feel secretly pleased.
So, she took another step, pushing her luck, until her long, slender, white legs were almost touching his black trousers...
Xu Muyao finally reacted. His body stiffened slightly, and he turned his head to look at Jiang Ye with his deep, dark eyes, which contained a hint of helplessness, while the corners of his mouth curled up faintly.
Jiang looked back at him innocently, as if she hadn't done anything.
Xu Muyao straightened his body, raised his hand and lightly unbuttoned the shirt at the collar, just enough to reveal the tan skin of his collarbone.
Xu Muyao has broad shoulders and bulging muscle lines on his arms, giving people a sense of invincible security, making people want to lean on him and feel his solid texture.
He possesses a natural handsomeness, yet he himself is completely unaware of his charm; a mere gesture like unbuttoning his shirt collar is enough to make one blush and their heart race.
Jiang knew how handsome he was when she was eight years old.
At that time, she remembered deeply that there was a handsome older brother in her uncle's workplace.
So every day after school, she would rush to the police station, claiming that it was a quiet place to do her homework.
This continued until junior high school.
During this period, she only saw him a few times in the first two years. He always passed by in a hurry, but every time he saw her, he would stop his hurried steps and greet her gently.
After that, I never saw him again, and my uncle forbade me to ask about him. Every time I brought it up, I would be severely criticized.
Perhaps it was this obsession in her heart, or perhaps it was his extraordinary good looks, that made her yearn for him for so many years, to the point that all the beautiful fantasies of her teenage years were tied to his upright yet smiling face.
When they met again, he had risen from the ashes like a phoenix, shedding his glorious military uniform but leaving behind a body full of scars.
The moment Jiang saw him at the subway station, those thoughts that Jiang had buried deep in her heart for many years surged forth like a flood bursting its banks, wreaking havoc.
"Hey, is Brother Yao planning to return to secular life? He finally brought someone with him today, and he's protecting him so much."
The speaker was a beautiful woman with long, wavy brown hair.
Xu Muyao said calmly, "Don't talk nonsense, he's the leader's child."
Hearing this, Jiang felt a slight sense of disappointment, but she still maintained a faint smile on her face.
"Be more careful about what you wear when you go out in the future, wear longer pants," Xu Muyao suddenly said, turning to the side.
Jiang was lost in thought, reacting a beat slower, and subconsciously asked, "What?"
Realizing what she had done, she quickly added, "I'm wearing pants, you can see for yourself!"
As Jiang spoke, she lifted the T-shirt that covered her thighs.
Xu Muyao hurriedly pulled her down and glared at her sternly.
With a pull and a tug, his warm palm covered her slightly cool hand.
Jiang Ye's face was as white as snow, but the tips of her ears began to blush with an alluring red, making her look incredibly cute.
She appeared calm and composed on the surface, but inside she was screaming wildly.
When Xu Muyao felt the slightly cool touch under his palm, he jerked away as if he had been electrocuted.
"Is it cold?" He looked up at the air conditioner vent.
"Come sit over here." He got up and switched seats with her.
Just as the atmosphere became slightly awkward, Su Wenqian walked over with a wine glass in his hand. "Can my sister drink?"
"I can't drink it!" Xu Muyao's tone was like that of a dignified elder, leaving no room for doubt.
Jiang glanced at him briefly, then reached out and gracefully accepted the wine glass.
"If you want to drink, go back now!" Xu Muyao immediately stopped him.
Bringing her to the bar was already risky enough, and if he made her drink, he would be too ashamed to face Director Ye.
Seeing his solemn expression, Jiang obediently put down her wine glass.
Su Wenqian glanced at the large distance between the two, a slight smile playing on his lips. The next moment, he plopped down next to Jiang Ye.
"Please come in and have a seat, little sister."
With his push, Jiang naturally moved one step closer to the man beside her.
