Lin Yue rolled over with her eyes closed, groggily feeling the spot beside her. Hmm? Empty? Only a trace of warmth remained…
She suddenly opened her eyes and sat up. "Oh no, I overslept on my first night at my in-laws' house, how embarrassing! That damn old man, he didn't even wake me up!" Lin Yue slapped her forehead in frustration, complaining as she got out of bed and quickly tidied herself up.
As soon as she stepped out of the room, she smelled a rich aroma of milk. There she saw Song Yunxi sitting quietly at the dining table, holding a cup of hot milk and leisurely sipping it.
"Good morning, sister-in-law. Come and have breakfast."
Seeing this, Lin Yue's tension dissipated considerably. She smiled and nodded, "Okay," and quickly walked over to sit down next to Song Yunxi.

“Dad’s been busy, he left early this morning, and Mom went for a walk with her girlfriends after breakfast.” Before she finished speaking, Song Yunxi suddenly looked at Lin Yue with a mischievous grin, “My brother even reminded me before he left for work not to disturb your sleep, saying you didn’t sleep well last night…”

"Sister-in-law, come shopping with me later, let's enjoy the weekend." Since graduating from university and becoming an office worker, she has been busy with endless things every day and has hardly had any rest time, so weekends are a luxury for her.
"Okay, sure." It's been a while since she's gone shopping.
Song Yunxi drove her Cullinan, which was like a steel behemoth, and took Lin Yue to Sanlitun. They chatted and laughed all the way, and the two girls were together. They did nothing but buy all kinds of things, including clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories.

"Hehe, I'm just browsing, I don't plan to buy anything, you don't need to serve me." She gave the shop assistant a dry laugh.
The sales clerk, who had been smiling just moments before, vanished instantly after hearing her words, her expression changing to one of disdain. She deliberately walked to the shelf and lightly patted the clothes Lin Yue had just touched. "Young lady, I'm not trying to be mean, but if you don't plan to buy them, don't touch them. If everyone touches them, and they get damaged or dirty, who's going to buy them? You?"
Lin Yue was stunned. What did this mean? Was she being treated differently just because she didn't want to buy? They were acting all high and mighty a moment ago, and then their attitude changed so suddenly. What a snob! They look down on people!
At this moment, Song Yunxi, having changed her clothes, came out of the dressing room. She heard all the impolite things the shop assistant said to Lin Yue. She walked straight up to Lin Yue, smiled, and took her hand. "Sister-in-law, don't you see any clothes you like in this store? If this one isn't good, let's go to another store. We can buy clothes anywhere."
The shop assistant stared at Lin Yue in astonishment. Sister-in-law? This girl who looks like a high school student is President Song's sister-in-law? Oh no, she's offended a big spender!
Lin Yue knew that Song Yunxi was standing up for her, and she couldn't back down at this time, so she nodded and agreed, saying, "Yeah, they're all pretty average, the styles are all outdated, and there's nothing new about them."

The once aggressive shop assistant immediately became humble, nodded respectfully, and then turned and walked away quickly.
"Please come in, gentlemen." The shopkeeper bowed slightly, a fawning smile on his face, and spoke with great respect.
Song Yunxi didn't even glance at her, and led Lin Yue straight into the VIP room. She picked up a white V-neck sweater, handed it to Lin Yue, and winked, "Go try it on."
Lin Yue hesitated before taking the clothes, then leaned down and whispered in her ear, "Yunxi, the clothes in this store are too expensive for me. Your brother is a doctor. His wallet can't handle my spending like this."
Song Yunxi was taken aback and looked at her in surprise, "Sister-in-law, do you have some misunderstanding about my brother?"
