He glanced silently at Lin Yue sitting on the sofa and commanded, "You must come back. Lin Yue is already here."
"Yueyue went home? Why did she go home?"
"Why can't she come home? Unlike you, who's never home. Getting her to have a meal with you is harder than getting a national leader to invite her!"
Song Yunzheng was speechless for a moment. "Okay, I'll be right there."
After hanging up the phone, Song Xinian glared angrily at Zhou Lirong, "Look at your good son! If his wife hadn't been here, he would never have come!"
"It's good that he came. Why ask for so much? It shows that he cares about Yueyue, isn't that great?" Zhou Lirong patted Lin Yue's hand happily.
Lin Yue forced a smile. "Mom and Dad, I'll go to the kitchen and see if Aunt Zhang needs any help."
Without waiting for the two elders to answer, she quickly got up and went straight into the kitchen.
"What's wrong with this child? He's acting strangely. He hasn't said a word since he got back."
Zhou Lirong looked towards the kitchen with concern.
"Don't worry, it's common for young people to encounter setbacks. You'll understand when your son comes over."
Half an hour later...
As soon as Song Yunzheng entered the house, he looked around for Lin Yue. He was very curious as to why she had suddenly returned. It wasn't that he didn't want her to come, but he was afraid that she would feel uncomfortable.
After all, he knew his mother very well; her excessive enthusiasm was difficult for her to handle.
"Yueyue..." Song Yunzheng glanced at Zhou Lirong with displeasure when he saw her helping in the kitchen.

Lin Yue was furious when she saw him and didn't want to say a word to him. She pushed him away with her elbow and walked out of the kitchen with the dishes.
Song Yunzheng was completely bewildered. He frowned and looked at his parents. "What did you do to her? Did you upset her?"
Zhou Lirong immediately retorted, "What are you talking about? We haven't even questioned you yet! Did you upset Yueyue? She's been barely speaking since she got back, and she even ran into the kitchen to help out; we couldn't stop her."
“Your mother and I were passing by the entrance of XH Hospital when we saw her fighting with someone on the street, so we brought her back on our way…”
Fighting? Song Yunzheng looked at the busy little figure in the kitchen with surprise. "Why is she fighting again? With whom? Why is she fighting?"
"What do you mean 'again'? Does that girl get into fights all the time?" Song Xinian immediately grasped the key point.
Song Yunzheng didn't have time to pay attention to his words at the moment. He strode into the kitchen and grabbed Lin Yue's arm, asking, "Who did you fight with? Are you hurt?"
His face was full of worry as he asked her questions while checking her body for any bumps or bruises.
Lin Yue impatiently waved his arm away, "Don't block my way, I need to take the soup out."
Song Yunzheng clearly sensed Lin Yue's indifference. Was she angry because he hadn't paid attention to her all day?
Seeing that Lin Yue was about to pick up a pot of hot soup, he quickly stepped forward to stop her.
"Don't move, you'll burn yourself. I'll do it."
Lin Yue watched Song Yunzheng's retreating figure, lowered her eyes, and couldn't hide her disappointment.
