Chapter 23
Third person perspective.
Sand and stones flew, air currents surged, the sky was torn apart, black clouds swirled, and sharp weapons and bones emerged from them. A dark aura enveloped everything, terrifying and horrifying.
Even from afar, Fuyuki could sense the two tsukumogami locked in fierce combat. Their main bodies never stopped moving; both were fighters renowned for their speed. The two white figures darted through the Time Retrograde Army, each strike stained with blood and deadly.
The clothes on his body were no longer as clean as before; blood red had stained the pure white, a sight that was both glaring and shocking.
Compared to Tsurumaru Kuninaga, Gokotai seemed to be struggling. He was in poor condition, and even in the darkness that favored the short swords, he found it difficult to face the endless stream of enemies.
"Roar! Roar!" The tiger cubs following behind sensed that their companion was in a bad state and became agitated.
Dongshu moved through the darkness with a solemn expression and her lips tightly pressed together. Her spiritual power began to be rapidly mobilized and transformed in the proper form.
The scenery around her kept flying past her. She clasped her hands together, pure spiritual energy gathered, the space fluctuated, and her hands were tinged with pink cherry blossom color. Then she suddenly stretched her hands out to both sides.
The fluctuations in time and space became increasingly intense, and Dongshu, though somewhat unfamiliar with them, remained extremely cautious.
Blue light descended rapidly, and cherry blossoms exploded violently. Before the accumulated cherry blossoms had even dissipated, several figures darted out from within. The Saniwa's gaze suddenly rose, and she was enveloped in a familiar embrace.
The warmth and reassurance made her feel momentarily dazed.
No longer is it a speed that you can't get fast even if you run with all your might; even if you stop quietly, the speed of movement increases rapidly, and the fierce airflow is thoughtfully blocked.
A firm voice rang in my ears. "Master, we've arrived."
They answered the call and stood beside the Master.
Dongshu pursed her lips and nodded: "Mm."
She raised her hand and hugged Kashuu Kiyomitsu's neck. The black hair of the tsukumogami fell on her head, and the young Saniwa's voice was muffled, yet it rang clearly in the ears of every tsukumogami.
"Now I give the order: everyone, please attack all the Time Travelers."
A calm yet restrained voice boomed in the ears of the group of blades. Their expressions turned solemn, their eyes sharpened, and their hands tightened around the swords at their waists.
"I will obey your command."
"Yes, General!"
"We will bring victory to our master!"
"..."
The commands echoed one after another, and the moonlight illuminated their faces, revealing their murderous eyes.
All personnel of the 197th Honmaru are mobilized!

At the port Mafia, Dazai Osamu emerged from the interrogation room, radiating an air of irritation. He glanced disdainfully at the blood-stained bandages, took a handkerchief from the waiting person, and vigorously wiped them, only to find them filthy further. He frowned, then threw it away and turned to leave.
It was late at night. He walked down the corridor without turning on the lights, only the faint moonlight. He was completely hidden in the darkness, and the moonlight could not touch him at all.
His mood was far from pleasant; screams and pain, an expression of extreme fear, a firm will crumbling bit by bit, blood meandering on the ground, and desperate, collapsing cries—it was all utterly uninteresting.
The ringtone broke the silence, and he stopped and answered the phone.
A familiar voice came through the phone: "Dazai-kun, tonight is quite interesting."
Mori Ougai stood in the leader's office, his somber, purplish-red eyes fixed on the strange phenomenon in the dark sky. The eerie night sky seemed to be torn apart, becoming increasingly ferocious and terrifying, as if it were about to devour everything.
"I know," Dazai Osamu replied lazily, the ferocity of the sky reflected in his lifeless, iris-colored eyes.
“Dazai-kun…” Mori Ougai wanted to say something more, but his pupils contracted, an amused smile appeared on his lips, and he said in a slow and unhurried tone, “This is a bit troublesome.”
The vortex that suddenly appeared in the office was dark and murky, almost a miniature version of the anomaly in the sky. Unlike the slow movement in the sky, a knife-wielding monster covered in bone spikes quickly emerged from it.
"Alice-chan".
The fluctuation of supernatural power vanished in an instant. The blonde girl in the nurse's uniform landed with a giant syringe in her arms. She swung her weapon and smashed the Time Travel Army into pieces.
"That's amazing, Alice-chan!"
The next second, Mori Ougai's voice turned cold: "Take care of them all."
Alice didn't speak; her little face was stern as she simply waved her hand again, this time with even more vigorous movements.
Looking at the phone that had suddenly been disconnected, Dazai Osamu curled his lip in boredom, raised his hand and rubbed his head as if in distress, looking at the strange little vortex in front of him, but said in a light tone: "Ah, it's here."
Chuuya Nakahara kicked away the Time Travelers who rushed up again. There were now two vortexes around him. The vortexes grew larger and larger from the beginning, and the monsters that emerged from them were no longer just the snake-like short swords at the beginning.
Exploding bone spikes, hard armor, messy hair—everything looked so bizarre, yet endless. He was supposed to continue dealing with these strange creatures that specifically attacked people with superpowers after Fuyuki left, but after the bizarre events in the sky, he was entangled by these guys.
"What a nuisance." He muttered impatiently, his hands, covered in supernatural powers, smashed away the approaching monsters. A gust of wind blew by, crushing the monsters that attacked him into eerie black mist that disappeared into the vortex.
His surroundings were filled with black mist, which further obscured his vision in the dark night.
He frowned; the black fog was inevitably affecting his judgment of his surroundings.
"hateful!"
The forces that invaded the world attacked those destined for this realm. Each person's location was divided, forcing them to fight alone. The Time Travel Army was endless, fearless of death or fatigue, forever steadfast in its evil purpose.
Humans are different. Even if they are blessed with good fortune, they are still just outstanding beings among humans. They are still human. When they are exhausted and even their last bit of will is worn away, then all the pillars of the world will die. How can a world without pillars resist the invasion of other worlds?
Dongshu clutched her chest, feeling a tightness in her chest and a slight difficulty breathing. This palpitation felt strangely familiar.
The girl in the air, with her golden hair flowing freely and her long white dress fluttering in the wind, was no longer made of silk threads. Black mist tightly bound her, and her pale face was filled with struggle and pain. She bit her lip, trying to find support in it and resist the bone-deep pain.
An invisible force was drawn from her, the holy gold and white intertwining with the sinful black, creating an extremely eerie scene.
Fuyuki's eyes widened. What was that person doing here?
What is the world doing?!
"Everyone, we've been teleported." The young Saniwa gave the order in a clear, crisp voice.
In the dark world, streaks of white light flickered, as dazzling as stars, yet as fragile as fireflies.
Connecting with the forcibly divided space is extremely mentally taxing.
Fuyuki prayed, closed his eyes, and was enveloped in a layer of shimmering white light that shone brightly in the darkness. His small figure carried immense power.
"I will obey your command!"
