Garp: Luffy, Grandpa is back

Garp: Luffy, Grandpa is back

Rice cakes and candies kept falling from the sky. Meli used several tentacles to help and nimbly caught the candies and rice cakes in the air.

It didn't take long before her basket was more than half full.

Taking advantage of their small size, Uta and Luffy aimed at the rice cakes and candies scattered on the ground, weaving in and out of the crowd, and gained quite a bit.

The three little guys' bamboo baskets were all filled with rice cakes and candies. When placed together, you couldn't tell the difference with the naked eye.

"It's impossible to tell who won like this." Uta looked at the baskets and couldn't help frowning.

"Of course I won. I filled the basket before you." Luffy said as if it was a matter of course.

"We compete to see who grabs the most, not who fills the basket the fastest."

"So what? I got a lot too!"

“It’s definitely mine!”

"No! It's definitely more me!"

Regarding the result of the game, Uta and Luffy were unwilling to accept each other and started arguing again.

"Then let's count them one by one."

"Just count!"

"I'll count your baskets, you count Merry's baskets, and Merry counts mine."

"Okay, that's fair."

The three little guys each held a basket and began to count carefully.

Luffy counted and read out the numbers aloud: "One, two... thirteen, fourteen... twenty-five, twenty-six... eighteen, seventeen..."

Uta suddenly stopped Luffy and said dissatisfiedly: "Hey! Do you know how to count? Isn't it getting less and less the more you count?"

"Of course I can count! Your basket only has so few candies anyway."

"Ah! You illiterate man! How could I possibly have so little!"

"You didn't pick up as much as I did."

"It seems that something is not right."

......

After a chaotic commotion, the "Who grabs more rice cakes and candies" competition finally ended in a tie.

But Uta and Luffy seemed to have been at odds with each other since then, and they often held various strange competitions to determine the winner.

There are running competitions, cuteness competitions, chicken leg eating competitions... Every competition is full of joy, but there has also been a lot of chaos.

For example, in the singing competition, Uta only competed with Luffy once and refused to compete with him again.

Because the song sung by tone-deaf Luffy was so free and unrestrained, without a correct tune, it was really... too terrible to listen to!

However, the most terrible thing was the rowing competition.

Luffy and Uta actually mistook the King of the Near Sea as their target reef. They were so scared that they paddled desperately to escape and were almost eaten by the sea king.

This experience was too thrilling. No matter how brave Uta and Luffy were, they dared not joke with their lives again.

Although every game always ends in various funny ways and Luffy and Uta still quarrel, their relationship has changed unknowingly and they no longer dislike each other.

As the Redforth stayed in Windmill Village for longer and longer, the friendship between the three little guys grew deeper and deeper without them noticing.

The Red Hair Pirates use Windmill Village as their base and often go on adventures to the surrounding islands before returning to Windmill Village to rest.

The relationship between Shanks and his crew and the villagers of Windmill Village became increasingly familiar.

Luffy was also attracted by the freedom and joy shown by Shanks, as well as the deep bond between the Red Hair Pirates, and the relationship between the two sides became better and better.

"Luffy~ Grandpa is back~"

Cap appeared at the door of the cabin wearing a colorful shirt with a cute pattern on it and a pair of matching flip-flops.

Luffy sat at the wooden table, holding a net bag given by a fruit shop uncle in his hand, his mouth stuffed with fruit, his cheeks puffed up, and his words were a little unclear: "Yo~ Ji-chan~ You are so lazy~"

"What's wrong with you?" Garp walked forward, took the net bag from Luffy's hand naturally, and stuffed all the fruits in the bag into his mouth in a few seconds.

"Damn it! Ji-chan! These fruits are all mine!" Luffy widened his eyes, looking angry!

"Who told you to eat so slowly? Remember, as a good sailor, you must eat quickly in order to prepare for battles that may arise at any time."

"Give it back to me! I don't want to be a marine."

"What nonsense are you talking about? It seems you've been living too leisurely lately." Garp stretched out his big hand, grabbed Luffy's collar, and lifted him up like a kitten.

"Ah, Ji-chan, what are you doing?" Luffy kicked his legs and struggled frantically.

As Cap walked out of the cabin, he said seriously, "I'll take you to study hard."

"Yada! Ji-chan, put me down!" Luffy kept twisting his body and waving his fists, but he couldn't break free from Garp's clutches.

"Stop talking nonsense, little brat." Garp carried Luffy and strode into the forest.

The sunlight shines through the gaps in the leaves, casting spots of light.

Deep in the forest, a few monkeys were scattered on the branches and rocks, in groups of three or two, leisurely flipping the fur of their little friends.

Luffy looked at the monkeys not far away with curiosity. They seemed to have found something delicious on their friends' bodies, and they stuffed it directly into their mouths, chewing it with a crunching sound.

Hearing the crisp chewing sound, Luffy couldn't help swallowing his saliva: "Ji-chan, what are they eating?"

"Greedy cat, why are you always thinking about eating?" Hearing this, Karp turned around and looked, "So it's you monkeys. Today's training target is you."

As he said that, Garp swung his hand, and Luffy was completely unable to react to what was happening, and he flew up.

“Huh???”

Luffy suddenly fell into the monkey group.

The monkeys were startled by this sudden "attack" and started baring their teeth and screaming at Luffy.

"Monkeys! I'm going to trouble you to train my grandson." Garp shouted and sat down casually on the stone next to him.

When the monkey heard Karp's voice, he was startled at first, but soon became excited again.

What did this devil say? He could beat his grandson at will?

marvelous!

The monkeys were excited and pounced on it instantly.

"Ah, you can't attack in groups at the beginning. You have to attack one by one." Karp's loud voice echoed in the forest.

What! What a pity!

The monkeys stopped, looked at each other with regret, and formed a circle.

Luffy jumped up from the ground and accused, "Ji-chan! What are you talking about? I don't want to train!"

"Stop talking nonsense, how can we not train?"

After a while of whispering discussions among the monkeys, one of the most majestic and powerful monkeys took the lead and walked out of the monkey group.

"Ji-chan! I want to go back." Luffy ran in the direction he came from.

The monkey saw Luffy running away and immediately chased after him.

Garp scratched his ears and said, "Luffy, these monkeys are your training opponents today. Try your best to defeat them."

"Ah!" Luffy was hit hard by the monkey and fell to the ground, shouting, "Damn it!"

"Chirp chirp~~~" The devil's grandson doesn't seem to be that good.

The monkey stood in front of Luffy and laughed triumphantly.

"What did you say?" Luffy understood the monkey's mockery and suddenly jumped up, waving his fists and rushing forward, "Watch this!"

A baby and a monkey started a duel.

The monkey moved very quickly, attacking from the left and then making a sneak attack from the right. Luffy had no way to defend himself.

Not long after, Luffy was beaten all over by the monkey, and his clothes were torn in several places.

Garp sat on the stone, his arms folded across his chest, staring at the dueling figures with a serious expression.

The monkey who was fighting hard felt a chill coming from behind and couldn't help shivering. He looked back and met Karp's stern eyes. Remembering how terrifying Karp was, he quickly stopped attacking.

Luffy was sitting on the grass not far away, his body was in tatters, there was a big bump on his forehead, and his eyes were full of tears.

"Ji-chan! It hurts!"

Garp glared at Luffy and said, "How can you become an excellent marine if you're like this? Keep working hard! Keep training!"

"Eh? Yada! I don't want to be a marine," Luffy said, holding his head and stubbornly refusing, "Besides, training will only make you hungry."

"What! You idiot, what nonsense are you talking about!" Garp's face darkened. He stood up suddenly and punched Luffy, "You must become the strongest navy!"

"Ah! It hurts! Ji-chan's fist hurts the most!" Luffy shouted.

"Stop talking nonsense and continue practicing!"

“I don’t want it!”

In the early morning, the sun shines through the mist, casting a soft golden glow.

In the courtyard of a Japanese dojo, students are conducting their daily swordsmanship practice.

"Hey! Ha!"

"497, 498..." The little green-headed boy was fully focused, as the training program was more difficult than that of other trainees.

There was a noise coming from the shore.

Anyone landed on the island?

The young students in the dojo couldn't hold their patience and stopped training. They sneaked to the door and stretched their necks to look at the situation in the distance.

"What a huge ship! Is that a skull and crossbones flag?"

"Those guys look so tall! Are they pirates?"

"I heard that pirates are very cruel. Everyone in a nearby village was killed!"

"What? This is too scary! What should we do if they come over?"

"678, 679, 680..." Zoro remained unmoved and continued to train with full concentration, not affected at all.

The students continued to exclaim in surprise.

"Master and his uncles are so powerful in swordsmanship that they will definitely beat them all away."

"That's right! I heard that there were bandits in our village before, but they were defeated by Master's Master."

"Huh? Why are there children among pirates?"

"That man is wearing a sword. Is he also a swordsman?"

Swordsman? Zoro paused in his training, as if finally awakening from his own world.

Excitement flashed in his eyes. He turned around suddenly, grabbed the sword beside him, rushed out of the dojo gate, and ran towards the coast.
