God of the Deep Sea

God of the Deep Sea

The ice floes are becoming denser and the ocean currents are becoming colder.

Katie's face turned pale from the cold, and her voice was a little weak: "We should be almost there, but it's too cold here. I can't stand it. I can't accompany you anymore."

"Oh my God, there's ice on your face." Only then did Meli realize that something was wrong with Katie.

It hurriedly wrapped Katie with its tentacles, and the warmth of the tentacles passed through, making Katie's expression slightly more relaxed.

Meili apologized guiltily and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't notice your situation. I can find it myself next time. Thank you for your help."

"You're welcome. I hope you can find your pearl shoulder bag soon."

"Thank you. Goodbye."

Meli turned around and swam for a distance, putting Katie in a relatively warm and safe place, then released her tentacles and turned to swim towards the crack in the ice.

The floating ice in the sea gradually turned into large ice blocks, and then into solid icebergs.

Meli saw several Domon penguins behind the iceberg and immediately chased after them.

When it saw the penguins climbing onto an iceberg, it quickly hid behind an iceberg and poked its head out of the sea to look over.

The scene on Iceland is extremely grand. The Domon penguins use various shells and pebbles to pile up nests in an orderly manner, and penguin eggs are placed on the nests.

Meli was dazzled by the various shells and couldn't recognize where her small bag was.

It was stunned for a moment: why are there so many shells? It seemed that it had to go ashore to find its pearl bag among so many shells.

Ah, when I think about it carefully, it seems like I have never been ashore.

Every time we went to the island, the Merry would quietly dock on the shore, waiting for the friends to return from their adventure.

This is the first time Meli has actually stepped onto land!

Thinking of this, Meli couldn't help feeling nervous and excited, with a hint of anticipation that was hard to conceal flashing in his eyes.

Iceland is covered in white, and the Domon penguins are walking back and forth, and no one knows what they are busy with.

In order to avoid being discovered by the Domon penguins, Merry had to disguise himself before going ashore.

Merry placed his tentacles on the ice and slowly began the simulation. His pink skin gradually turned snow-white, blending perfectly with the ice.

After making his disguise, Meli carefully climbed up from the edge of the iceberg.

The tentacles stepped on the ground of Iceland, and a biting cold instantly spread throughout the body.

Meli couldn't help but shudder, and his excitement about landing on the island was instantly cooled.

The ground in Iceland was icy and hard, and it felt really uncomfortable.

Meili endured the discomfort and tiptoed closer to the penguins' nest, gently turning over the shells on the nest with her tentacles.

But there were so many shells that Meli's eyes were almost dizzy from searching, but she still couldn't find her shell bag.

Several times, the huge penguins almost stepped on Meli, but Meli dodged them nimbly and they didn't notice anything unusual.

The wind was howling on the island, and the temperature was even colder than in the sea.

Meli felt his tentacles becoming stiffer and stiffer, and his movements began to slow down, but he still hadn't found the shell bag.

Its mood gradually changed from initial excitement to anxiety, and its flipping speed became faster and faster, and its movements became more and more casual.

A penguin came unsteadily over and stepped on the loose stone with a "pop" sound. Meli was so scared that she quickly retracted her tentacles and stayed where she was, motionless.

Only when the penguin walked further and further away did Meli breathe a sigh of relief and continue searching.

It was not known how long it had been searching. When Meli was about to give up, it suddenly saw a small string of familiar pearls sticking out from a nest not far away.

That looks like the pearl chain on the shell bag!

Meli rushed over immediately, rolled up the pearl string with her tentacles, and pulled out the shell bag underneath.

Found it!!!

Before Meli could be happy, she accidentally touched a penguin egg next to her when she pulled the shell bag.

The eggshell collided with the shell, making a slight "click" sound, which immediately attracted the attention of the penguin nearby.

Dormant penguins are notoriously ferocious creatures in the nearby waters. They have a strong sense of protection for their territory, especially for their penguin eggs, which they are extremely paranoid about protecting.

The penguin soon noticed something was wrong, its eyes became fierce, it issued a sharp warning, and instantly entered combat mode.

“There’s an egg thief!!!”

The other penguins were startled by the warning sound. They raised their heads from their nests and waddled around.

"Everyone, come quickly! Don't let the egg thief go!"

"Where's the damn egg thief?"

White teeth! Discovered!

Meli's heart sank suddenly, and he subconsciously picked up the bag and slid hurriedly to the shore.

Because Merry was too nervous, his mimicry failed, and the pink octopus stood out against the bright white ice.

"Don't even think about escaping, egg thief!"

"Catch the egg thief quickly!"

"No! I'm not an egg thief!"

Merry's loud defense was instantly drowned out by the roar of the Domon penguins.

"The egg thief is here!"

"Grab it!"

......

The Domon penguins have surrounded her. They don't listen to Meli's explanation at all and keep pecking at her with their sharp beaks.

Meili rolled up two shells with his tentacles and used them as skates, sliding between the penguins and nimbly avoiding their attacks.

From time to time, it would use its tentacles to roll up stones on the roadside and throw them at the pursuing Domon penguins.

There were so many Domon penguins that they came from all directions and the island became a mess.

Merry finally reached the edge of Iceland and dived into the sea.

But the penguins would not let Meli go. They jumped into the water one after another and continued to chase Meli.

The Domon penguins were a little clumsy on the island, but once they entered the sea, they swam very fast and soon caught up with Meli.

“Here!”

"Don't let it escape!"

More and more penguins gathered around, as if they wanted to tear Merry into pieces.

Although Merry has eight tentacles, its counterattack seems very weak when facing the siege of many penguins.

The penguins attacked in waves, and soon Meli was pecked in several places, with blood spreading in the sea water.

Even the shell bag in Meli's arms was not spared. The pearl chain on it was pecked off by the Domon penguins and scattered in the sea.

Merry frantically used his tentacles to protect the shell bag, but the penguins' attack was too fierce.

When being pecked by the penguin again, Meli could not bear the pain any more. Its tentacles loosened uncontrollably and the shell bag slipped out of its arms.

Seeing a penguin about to peck at the shell bag, Meli thought of the life card inside and became very excited. He suddenly shouted: Stop!!!

At that moment, the latent power in Meli's body was stimulated again, and an invisible domineering aura emanated. In the blink of an eye, all the surrounding Domon penguins were shocked in place.

The Domon penguins were motionless, and the underwater world suddenly became extremely quiet.

Meli stepped forward and gathered the shell bag back into her arms, holding it tightly.

Ripples were heard from the deep sea, and a group of huge figures emerged from the abyss.

"Your Highness, you have finally summoned us once again."

As the sea water surged violently, a group of huge sea kings suddenly appeared from the deep sea as if they had taken a teleportation channel.

The Domon penguins had just broken free from Merry's domineering suppression, but were frightened by the sudden appearance of these deep-sea monsters and fled in all directions.

Meli's eyes were wide open, and his little head was blank. He stood there stupidly, thinking that he was definitely going to die this time.

But to Meli's surprise, after these sea kings approached Meli, they actually lowered their huge heads and made a gesture of submission to Meli.

A solemn voice, as resounding as thunder, echoed across the sea: "Your Highness, we have finally arrived."

Seeing that these sea kings had no ill intentions, Merry tried to appear calm and said, "Who...who are you?"

It remembered the wise turtle it had met before, who was also equally friendly, and couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

Perhaps they are friends of the wise turtle?

Meili mustered up his courage and continued to ask, "Were you sent by the Turtle Wise to find me?"

"Sea Turtle Sage?" The sea kings looked up in confusion and stared at the little octopus in front of them.

The leading sea king explained, "No, we were not sent by the Sea Turtle Sage, but we came here at the summons of His Majesty."

"My summons? I... I didn't do anything." Merry's little head was buzzing, completely unable to understand what was happening in front of him.

"Your Highness, you don't need to do anything. Just call us in your heart and we will appear immediately."

Meili's eyes were full of confusion and puzzlement, and her voice was so low that it seemed as if she was talking to herself: "Why?"

But the sea kings still clearly sensed Merry's doubts, and the leading sea king continued to explain, "Because you are Ksira, the god of the deep sea, and His Highness of our sea king clan."

Eh???

What are these sea kings talking about? What gods and Hera?

Merry's eyes widened even further, and his mouth opened so wide that it seemed as if he could swallow a penguin egg.

Meli looked at the wounds on his body that were pecked by the Domon penguin. Even the Domon penguin could beat him up, so how could he be a deep god?

Merry raised his scarred tentacle and gently touched the wound on his face, causing him to gasp in pain.

Tears welled up in the little octopus's eyes, but stubbornly refused to fall.

Merry asked bewilderedly, "Did you recognize the wrong fish? I'm just an ordinary little octopus. How could I be your sea god?"

"Your Highness, we can't be mistaken." The Sea Kings bowed their heads again, paying their deepest respects to Merry. "You are Ksira, the God of the Deep Sea. It's just that you are still too young and haven't fully awakened your power. Moreover, the power of the God of the Deep Sea is extremely powerful and not so easy to master."

"However, please rest assured, Your Highness, we will protect you and wait for the day when you grow up!"
