Landing on Fishman Island
Meli swam forward quickly and saw Tiger's appearance clearly. His eyes widened instantly.
The once burly and strong Tiger has now become much thinner. There is a shocking red mark on his chest, and his body is covered with scars. Blood continues to seep out of the wounds, attracting many small marine creatures to gather around.
The marine creatures lay on the wound, opened their mouths, and kept gnawing.
Just by looking at this scene, Meli felt as if he was being bitten, itchy and painful.
However, Tiger floated in the sea without realizing it, his eyes closed, motionless, allowing the small creatures to feast on him.
"Uncle Tiger! Don't die!" Meli looked around Tiger carefully and found that he was just seriously injured and lost consciousness, but still alive.
"Great woooo ...
Meli raised a tentacle to wipe away her tears, and the other tentacles controlled the water flow, forming several small whirlpools that drove away all the small marine creatures surrounding them.
Although the small marine creatures did not want to miss this feast, they were helplessly swept away by the current and had to leave reluctantly.
Merry wrapped his tentacles around one of Tiger's shoulders and dragged his huge body up with the current.
As the little octopus swam forward, it looked left and right vigilantly, both to avoid any danger and to find seaweed to heal its wounds.
Found it!
Meli's eyes lit up and he swam quickly to the coral reef. Tiger was placed on the sand next to it.
When Meli came back with the seaweed, she found that Tiger was covered with small marine creatures again.
They were attracted by the smell of food and gathered around again. There was also a ferocious fangtooth fish next to it with its mouth opened, ready to bite.
Damai!
Merry threw away the seaweed and quickly performed a fishman karate move, spraying a column of water at the sharptooth fish.
Before the fangtooth fish could take a bite, it was knocked back by the water column and fell unconscious on the seabed.
The crisis was over and Meli breathed a sigh of relief. Its tentacles separated and dragged the seaweed and Tiger towards the surface of the sea.
The sea is too dangerous, so let’s apply medicine on the surface of the sea.
Merry found a large reef exposed above the sea.
"Ga ga ga ga!" The reef was full of seabirds. When they saw the little octopus, they immediately made a series of shrill calls.
Meli was a little confused. What should he do?
It took it a long time to find this reef. Moreover, there were many small marine creatures surrounding Uncle Tiger's wound, so it couldn't be dragged any further.
"Hey, can we make a deal? Give us the reef?" Meli raised a tentacle and waved at the seabirds.
Unfortunately, seabirds and fish have a natural predator-prey relationship.
Plus, fish are food for seabirds!
A seabird suddenly jumped down from the reef and launched an air attack on the small octopus on the sea surface.
Meli didn't react at first and was almost caught.
Once there was one, there would be two, and the seabirds all rushed towards Meli.
"Okay! You guys actually want to eat me!" Meli quickly used the fishman karate, and strong streams of water rushed towards the seabirds.
The seabirds were knocked off balance by the current, and many fell into the sea, flapping their wings wildly.
The water column continued to spray onto the reef, driving away all the seabirds on it.
As soon as the reef was clear, Merry jumped onto the reef and dragged Tiger up.
Meli mashed the seaweed into a paste and then applied it evenly to Tiger's body.
However, those seabirds that were driven away are not easy to get along with.
They held a grudge against Merry, squawking and flying around in the air, occasionally launching guano attacks.
"Ahhh! You bad guys!!! Don't think I'm afraid of you!!!"
Meli was furious, but there was nothing he could do. He could only keep an eye on the movements in the sky, dancing his tentacles flexibly and spraying water continuously to drive away those annoying seabirds.
The seabirds were not to be outdone. They fought again and again, and their attacks became more and more frequent.
The grudge between the two sides grew deeper and deeper, and the battle between fish and birds became more and more intense.
The moon rises and sets, and time passes quietly in the battle between fish and birds.
The cries of the seabirds gradually weakened. They seemed to be tired at last and had to give up their revenge and find another place to rest.
Meli was also exhausted and panting. He lay limply on the rocks, as if all his energy had been drained away.
The moon shed its soft light gently.
Tiger's wounds slowly healed and he finally opened his eyes.
Meli suddenly perked up, squirming over happily: "Uncle Tiger, you're finally awake."
Tiger quickly recognized the little octopus in front of him. He was slightly stunned, with a complicated look in his eyes: "Merry? You saved me?"
Meili nodded: "Yes, Uncle Tiger was seriously injured. What kind of accident did you encounter this time?"
"It's not an accident." A look of pain flashed across Tiger's face, and his eyes were deep.
"Did he have a fight with someone?" Meli tilted his head. He could sense the intense anger and resentment coming from Tiger.
The little octopus patted Tiger's shoulder soothingly. "Let's not hold grudges, otherwise we'll be unhappy. Whoever beat you up like this? Let's go and seek revenge on them and vent our anger."
Tiger's painful expression became a little distorted. It was an expression that was obviously painful, but he wanted to laugh a little because of Meli's comforting words.
"What's the matter? Did I say something wrong?"
"You're right." Tiger sighed, thinking of the hellish experiences he had endured in the past three years. He smiled a smile uglier than crying, "Of course I have to take revenge!"
Seeing Tiger's expression, Meli quickly comforted him: "Don't cry, don't cry. First, heal your injuries, and then we can slowly find a way to get revenge."
Tiger gradually calmed down and tried hard to suppress his inner anger: "Well, I understand. Merry, why are you here? Where are those humans?" Even Shanks and the others, he didn't want to mention any human's name again.
"Shanks and the others and I got separated at the fireworks festival..." Merry recounted his terrifying experience, "...They locked me up and even electrocuted me! They were definitely not good people, so I killed them all!"
When Tiger heard what Mellie said, his face became very gloomy again.
He immediately realized that Merry might have encountered the same experience as he had three years ago, that of a human trafficker who specialized in selling slaves.
"They are indeed very vicious human traffickers, kidnapping people all over the world. Luckily you escaped. If you had fallen into the hands of the Celestial Dragons, you would have been in a state worse than death." Tiger warned very seriously, "Merry, next time you encounter humans, you must be extremely careful, be cautious, and don't trust anyone easily."
"But not everyone is bad. Shanks and the others are very nice to me."
"This world is very complicated. Sometimes it's hard to tell who is good and who is bad. You are still young, so it's always a good thing to be more vigilant."
"Okay. I get it. I'll listen to Uncle Tiger."
"It's too dangerous for you, an octopus, to be out there. Do you want to come back to Fishman Island with me?"
Merry hesitated. He didn't know when Shanks and Luffy met, and he was worried that if he left for too long, he would miss the chance to find Luffy.
However, when Meli saw that Tiger looked very bad, he felt that he could not just leave him alone.
Luffy, Shanks, I'm sorry, please wait a moment, I may be able to meet you later.
"Okay. Uncle Tiger, I'll accompany you back to Fishman Island."
"Then let's go."
——
The Sun Tree Eve transmits sunlight to the bottom of the sea 100,000 meters deep, bringing changes in light and night to Fishman Island and also bringing vitality.
Tiger took Meli on the back of a giant sea beast and shuttled through the colorful underwater world.
There are waterways interwoven everywhere on the Fishman Island for various marine creatures to pass through. There are also many mermaids swimming in the air with bubble rings on their bodies, which inevitably makes Meli, who is visiting for the first time, feel amazed.
"Wow! Fishman Island is so beautiful!" Merry looked around curiously. "Hey, what's that pirate flag?"
Tiger frowned, "That's the flag of the Whitebeard Pirates."
Although Tiger was reluctant to admit that Fishman Island actually needed the protection of a pirate group, the number of kidnappings on Fishman Island had indeed decreased significantly since Neptune formed an alliance with Whitebeard.
Meli sensed that Tiger wasn't interested, so he tactfully changed the subject: "Uncle Tiger, where is your home? Are we going there now?"
"No, let's go to Dragon Palace first and pay our respects to the Sea God and the Queen."
"The Sea God and the Princess? What kind of fishmen are they?"
"They're really nice people, and you'll see that when you meet them."
A fishman noticed Tiger's figure and immediately greeted him enthusiastically.
"It's Mr. Tiger who's back!"
"Mr. Tiger!"
"Brother Tiger, please tell us the story of this trip!"
"Long time no see, let's chat again when we have time."
Tiger waved back enthusiastically.
Meli sat on Tiger's shoulder and whispered, "Uncle Tiger, you are very popular with everyone!"
Tiger: "We rarely leave Fishman Island, so we're quite curious about the outside world."
Jinbei and Arlong heard the noise and ran over excitedly.
"Brother, I haven't seen you for several years."
"Brother Tai, you are finally back!"
Tiger smiled slightly, "It's Shibei and Aaron. It's been a while indeed."
"Yeah, we all missed you." Jinbei's eyes fell on Merry on Tiger's shoulder. "Eh? Could this little octopus be Tiger's child?"
"Haha, this is Meli, she is my savior."
Lifesaver? It didn't do anything.
Merry waved a tentacle shyly, greeting Jinbei and Arlong, "Hello."
"Hello, Merry." Jinbei said a simple greeting, his attention completely diverted to something else. "Did Brother Tiger encounter any life-threatening situation? This voyage is quite long."
"Nothing, just a little trouble." Tiger shook his head. He didn't want to talk about that tragic experience with too many people. "I need to go to Dragon Palace City to take care of some business first."
"Let me take you there."
"Big brother, come and play on my boat when you're done."
"Big brother and pirates have nothing to talk about."
"Scared? What are you talking about? Big Brother didn't say anything like that!"
"You two have a really good relationship."
"Who has a good relationship with him?"
"Ha ha ha ha"
