Yo hehehe~

Yo hehehe~

Meli, Mia and Phil were gently carried by the current, swimming forward more smoothly following the direction of the current.

Although their destinations were different, they were heading in the same direction, so they decided to travel together.

Along the way, the three little fish were noisy, chatting and joking with each other, which was quite entertaining.

Coral reefs of various shapes gradually appeared in front of us, and lively marine creatures shuttled back and forth among the corals, full of vitality.

They found some food among the coral reefs, rested for a while, and after eating and drinking their fill, they continued on their way.

The three small fish swam through the coral reef and into the kelp forest. They also saw the hardworking damselfish, skillfully and busily picking up sea urchins one by one and throwing them far away...

Suddenly, a low humming sound was heard from the sea in the distance.

The sound was getting closer and clearer, gradually filling the entire sea.

The three little fish looked at each other, and a hint of vigilance flashed in their eyes.

Mia stared at the direction of the sound, her face solemn: "It's the sound of a predator."

Phil also became serious. He listened carefully to the long humming sound and said, "From the sound, it seems that there are quite a few of them."

Mia said decisively: "We must hide quickly."

The three small fish swam hurriedly to the nearby reef, drilled into the crevices inside, and squeezed together tightly.

Three small fish peeked out through the gap and saw a group of huge creatures slowly appearing in the distance.

It was a group of migrating minke whales, each between seven and ten meters long, with a huge and slender body, swimming forward in neat and orderly formations.

The buzzing sound of the whales was getting closer and closer. A huge figure swam over from above, casting many creatures on the seabed in shadow, which was extremely shocking.

The huge tail swung, stirring up a strong current of water, which made it difficult for Meli to open her eyes.

Phil stared at the direction the whales were heading, his eyes flashing with excitement. He suddenly made a bold suggestion: "Perhaps we can take a ride."

Mia's head shot up, staring at Phil in shock. "What? Are you crazy? This is a predator!"

Phil, however, appeared remarkably calm. "No, no, no, I'm not crazy. A smart fish should learn to utilize all available resources. Do you know how far the West Sea is? At our current speed, we don't know when we'll get there. These predators are heading in the same direction as us. If we can catch this ride, we can save a lot of time and energy."

These words successfully brought a look of excitement to Meli's face. Would this allow her to meet her friends sooner?

It loosened its tightly entangled tentacles and looked expectantly: "I think what you said makes sense..."

Mia shook her head disapprovingly. "This is too dangerous! If a predator finds us, we'll be dead."

"Don't be so nervous. We can cling to the dorsal fin of the last whale. As long as we're careful, they won't notice us." Phil patted Mia's back with his pectoral fin. "Besides, the three of us fish are outnumbered. We might encounter all kinds of large predators along the way, which is inherently dangerous. Although hitchhiking sounds crazy, it can actually help us reach our destination faster with the help of external forces and reduce the risk."

Mia was silent, very hesitant in her heart. Even though she knew that what Phil said made sense, her natural fear of predators made it unable to make up her mind.

"I think we can really give it a try." Merry looked at the huge figure outside, then looked at his own tiny body, and whispered comfortingly, "Think optimistically, with our tiny bodies, we can't even fill the gaps between their teeth. They may not notice us."

Phil: "That's right, don't hesitate any longer, the predator is about to leave here. If we don't seize this opportunity, we may never have such good luck again."

Although she was still a little scared, Mia finally nodded: "Fortune and honor are sought in danger, let's do it!"

"Good job! Let's go." Phil was the first to swim out of the coral reef.

Merry and Mia followed closely behind, cautiously approaching the last minke whale.

The dorsal fins of the minke whales are raised high, cutting through the water surface, leaving invisible water trails and impacting the surrounding sea water.

The powerful water currents created by the whale group had a strong impact. Meli and the others tried to get closer many times, but were ruthlessly pushed away by the water currents and slammed back to their original positions.

Fortunately, the whales seemed completely unaware of their approach, or perhaps they did not care about these little guys and continued to swim forward on their own.

Mia was a little anxious: "The water flow is too strong, we can't get close at all."

Mellie: "Phil, do you have any good ideas?"

"I've thought of a solution. Just hold on to me." Phil was knowledgeable and he quickly came up with a solution.

"good."

Meli and Mia answered in unison. Although they didn't know what solution Phil had come up with, they didn't have time to discuss it now.

The minke whales swam very fast and would soon leave them far behind, so they had to act quickly.

Following Phil's instructions, Meli used two tentacles to tightly wrap around Mia's middle torso (waist), and then used another two tentacles to wrap around Phil's middle torso, and the three small fish were tightly connected.

"I got it."

"Okay, I'll speed up then!"

Phil shouted, and the fish took the lead, wildly swinging its long pectoral fins and rushing towards the group of whales.

The little octopus and the butterfly fish held on to the little flying fish tightly, and at the same time they accelerated desperately, getting faster and faster.

When it was less than one meter away from the target whale, Phil suddenly jumped, and the whole fish flew up like a small airplane, flying over the water flow, and finally landed steadily behind the dorsal fin of the minke whale. The small octopus and butterfly fish were also successfully brought over.

The wide sickle-shaped dorsal fin effectively blocks the strong water flow, forming a relatively calm and safe area behind the dorsal fin.

"We succeeded!" Meli waved his little tentacles excitedly, as if he couldn't believe that they actually did it.

Phil proudly patted his pectoral fins and smiled smugly. "Hahaha, I knew we would succeed! After all, I'm the conqueror of the waves, the 'flying fish pioneer who soars on the waves,' Phil..."

Mia clung to the minke whale's back, feeling the fish dazed. It casually said, "Oh, really? You're amazing then."

"Mia! You don't believe me!!"

"How come, well, Phil, you're amazing."

"Forget it. I won't bother with you ignorant fish."

......

In this way, Meli and his friends started their "minke whale hitchhiking trip".

The whales' forward movement speed was indeed many times faster than their own swimming speed. They seemed to be on a huge ship, and the surrounding scenery flew by quickly as the whales swayed.

Coral reefs, seaweed beds, schools of fish...all became blurry and distant, leaving only streaks of light flashing before the eyes.

The whales continued to move forward, occasionally floating to the surface of the sea to breathe, and the blue sky and white clouds came into view.

Of course, there are also seabirds circling in the sky!

When the minke whales surfaced again, a seabird spotted the delicious dinner on its back and immediately swooped down and began to attack them.

!!!

At the critical moment, Phil suddenly flew up and avoided the attack of the seabird.

The seabird's sharp beak brushed past Phil, and it flexibly flipped its body, rose into the sky, and swooped down again, attacking Mia who was unable to move.

In a flash, Meli stretched out his tentacles in time to wrap around Mia's body, holding it and rolling on his back to avoid the attack.

When the seabird wanted to continue attacking, the minke whale finished breathing, dived again, and quickly sank into the water.

The three little guys survived the disaster and collapsed behind the minke whale's dorsal fin, gasping for breath and still feeling scared.

It was so dangerous just now!

They looked at each other, their eyes full of fear and relief.

Suddenly, they stretched out their pectoral fins and tentacles at the same time and touched each other.

I smiled for escaping death again.

The minke whales continued to swim forward, and the surrounding scenery was constantly changing.

The color of the sea water gradually changed from light blue to dark blue. The surroundings were dim and quiet, and the sea water gradually became icy cold until it was bone-chilling.

The coldness penetrated their scales and skin, making Merry and the others shiver.

Mia frowned: "Where are we?"

"Let me take a look."

After saying that, Phil stuck his head out from behind his dorsal fin. Before he could see the surrounding situation clearly, the minke whale suddenly swung its tail, turned a corner, and adjusted its direction.

The sudden turn caused a strong current to rush over, instantly blowing Meli, Mia and Phil out from behind the dorsal fin.

"careful!"

Phil yelled, but it was too late.

The strong sea water instantly scattered the small octopus, small flying fish and butterfly fish.

They rolled in the water, lost their balance, and their bodies were swept away by the water, making it impossible for them to control their direction.

The whales were moving extremely fast, and in the blink of an eye only a vague black shadow remained, disappearing at the end of the deep sea.

The three little fish were ruthlessly thrown into this chaotic and unfamiliar sea.

Pieces of black mist rose from the bottom of the sea, spreading with an evil chill, swallowing up the last ray of light, leaving only endless darkness and coldness.

The sea water became increasingly turbid, and everything around was so quiet that even the faintest breathing sounds seemed inaudible. The entire sea area was shrouded in an unsettling and eerie atmosphere.

A strange singing voice vaguely penetrated the sea water, with a chilling hoarseness, and spread in all directions.

"Yo hehe~ Yo hehe~ Yo hehe~ I'll give you a glass of Binx's wine~~ Like the sea breeze that follows its will~~"
