These past few days have been peaceful and calm; time has flown by. My sophomore year is almost over.
After finishing her final assignments for the semester, some people packed their bags and went home. Xi Xinxin, however, returned to her adoptive parents' home.
Her adoptive parents always cleaned her room spotlessly. They thought the flowers Xi Dai and her friends had given her a long time ago made a nice decoration.
They will buy new decorations after the plants wither.
It was as if the flowers in her room would never wither.
Chu Quanyi was starting to worry. She had no identity in this world. Where should she stay during her vacation? And there was so much equipment.
Chu Quanyi opened her phone and texted Xi Xinxin: "Take in a homeless little girl."
Xi Xinxin replied after thinking for a while: "Do you want to rent a place yourself? I can give you money. Or I bought a lot of dormitories. My employees all live there and all three meals are provided."
Chu Quanyi made a quick decision and chose a dormitory. After making the choice, she immediately started packing her luggage.
"Do you need me to help you with the work?" Chu Quanyi asked obsequiously after getting the house.
Xi Xinxin also packed some luggage: "Help me watch the shop. I need to go check on the perfume shop these days. It's finally a holiday. You just need to dutifully help me watch the shop."
"Yes, sir!"
Looking towards the perfume shop, Xi Xinxin realized she hadn't actually bought a dormitory yet. She also asked the shop assistant for their opinion. Generally, her home is close by, and her working hours aren't as late as Xi's, so they all go home separately.
So when Xi Xinxin arrived, she booked a hotel for a few days.
She tidied everything up. She also wanted to explore the city properly.
Actually, some people wanted to come with her, but everyone was busy with their own things.
Xi Xinxin went to the store and asked how the recent sales were. It was still as popular as ever.
This surprised Xi Xinxin. She had thought it was just a hobby of those people. She hadn't expected that it would actually attract so many people who liked the perfume she had created.
Xi Xinxin remembered that the fan had made her an administrator. She opened it and took a look.
They were just discussing whether there were any new perfumes.
So Xi Xinxin asked in the group chat, "What kind of new products do you like?"
Aside from the group owner, no one in the group knew that the administrator was Xi Xinxin.
"I feel that the perfumes they're offering have very light scents; I'd like something stronger."
"Indeed, I want to spray some perfume to fill the whole house."
"But not too strong. Some perfume brands think that strong is strong. It's so strong that it makes people choke."
Xi Xinxin typed "OK" on the keyboard.
This good news was quickly buried under a flood of messages.
Everyone assumed that the person was just asking a question.
My trip to the store went smoothly. The staff on the first floor were all very nice. They helped as much as they could, and I heard that someone even presented me with a banner of appreciation, which was both funny and touching.
However, those seeking help are mostly young people; older people might be too embarrassed to ask for it, or they're too busy with work and feel that such a place can't possibly help them.
Xi Xinxin went and bought a lot of materials and stayed in the hotel.
The scents she made the first few times didn't quite suit her taste. She seemed to have hit a roadblock. Besides, her original profession wasn't perfume making. Xi Xinxin decided to go shopping to see if she could find some inspiration.
So she's currently waiting for her barbecue at a roadside stall.
"Boss, no chili."
"Boss, no chili."
Two voices rang out at the same time.
Xi Xinxin turned her head to look. This wasn't the first or second time she had marveled at how small the world was.
The person who said the same thing to her was Chen Tongyun. Chen Tongyun gave Xi Xinxin a curt greeting.
The person behind her is her mother. Of course, I've seen her at the hospital. Chen Tongyun behaved quite properly in front of her mother.
Her mother also knew Xi Xinxin. She was also her daughter's savior: "What's this child's name? Thank you so much for protecting my daughter back then. My daughter has always been in poor health. That time really scared us. Thanks to you. This barbecue is on me."
Chen Tongyun said in a small voice, "Mom. Her name is Xi Xinxin."
Xi Xinxin greeted her politely, "It's alright. Auntie, I'll pay for it myself. It's not really appropriate for Chen Tongyun to eat barbecue so soon after she's feeling better."
Mrs. Chen quickly chimed in, "This child is just greedy. You're right. She can't eat it!" Then she turned to the owner and said, "Make it spicy. I'll eat it. My daughter doesn't want any more. I'll eat it. I'll pay for this little girl's too."
Xi Xinxin couldn't stop her at all. Mrs. Chen acted quickly, immediately paying the bill: "Oh, it's perfect for you two kids to play. Her father came here last night and drank for ages and still hasn't woken up. I can go back and check on him."
"Are you free? Isn't this too much trouble for you? Oh dear, what's wrong with me? I'm happy as long as my child has friends who want to play with her."
"Mom!" Chen Tongyun complained a little when she saw that her barbecue was gone and that her mother was still saying this.
She had to beg and plead to get it.
Xi Xinxin had a sense of anticipation, as if she were watching a good show: "Auntie, you go back and take care of Uncle. I'll take Chen Tongyun around. I'll bring her back to the hotel you're staying at."
Mrs. Chen beamed, "Oh, thank you so much. You're more sensible than Yunyun. Here, Auntie will give you some money. Auntie will pay for today's expenses."
Unable to resist Chen's mother's persistent nagging, Xi Xinxin finally accepted the money.
"Why did you all suddenly come here to play?"
Chen Tongyun was still a little awkward. But when Xi Xinxin asked her, she gave her a look that said, "I knew you were just being naive," and said, "My parents said they wanted to take me out to play. So I told them this."
Actually, she had heard that Xi Xinxin was going to check out her other shop. Then she found out the location. She never expected to actually run into her.

Xi Xinxin took a bite of the grilled skewer. The rich aroma made Chen Tongyun secretly swallow her saliva.
Chen Tongyun casually remarked, "Hmm. You don't add chili, do you?"
"No, I added extra spicy." Xi Xinxin took another bite.
Chen Tongyun was practically drooling with cravings. She clearly heard that it wasn't spicy: "I haven't had barbecue in ages. What's wrong with letting me have a bite? Why don't you feel any sympathy for me?"
Xi Xinxin asked helplessly, "Is your body capable of eating?"
Upon hearing this, Chen Tongyun's eyes lit up: "I knew you actually cared about me. You were worried about my health!"
“Otherwise, if I give it to you and something goes wrong, what if your mother comes after me for revenge?” Xi Xinxin continued.
Chen Tongyun ultimately didn't get to eat any. Seeing how pitiful she was, Xi Xinxin bought her some small desserts.
"I knew you'd still be willing to spend money on me."
"This is your mother's money."
Chen Tongyun pouted, scoffed, and stopped talking.
Chen Tongyun was indeed weak. She was already panting after only a few steps. Xi Xinxin helped her up, saying, "Where is your hotel? I'll take you back."
"No!" Chen Tongyun retorted instinctively, "Don't you think I look incredibly pitiful right now, and you really want to cherish me?!"
Xi Xinxin gave her a look that said, "Are you crazy?": "I don't want to pay your death compensation."
Chen Tongyun was unusually persistent. She looked around and pointed to a hot pot restaurant: "I want to eat hot pot."
"Okay. I'll ask the waiter to put a big teddy bear across from you."
"Xi Xinxin! I want you to eat with me."
"Fine. Your mother's money."
Chen Tongyun's face flushed red with anger. It was unclear where she got the strength from her previously weak body, but she dragged Xi Xinxin into the hot pot restaurant.
She scanned the QR code on the app. Xi Xinxin handed the phone to Chen Tongyun: "What can you eat? Let me see."
Chen Tongyun ordered a lot of food, looking deflated. Finally, she hesitated between the different hot pot bases: "What kind of hot pot base do you want?"
Xi Xinxin raised an eyebrow: "Didn't I hear that when I bought the barbecue? It tastes the same as yours."
Hearing this, Chen Tongyun finally broke into a big smile. She knew it. Xi Xinxin actually had feelings for her! And they had exactly the same taste!
Smoke rose slowly. Bubbles were already rising from the pot. Xi Xinxin used serving chopsticks to carefully pick up the food, bit by bit.
The fragrance gradually filled the air, and Xi Xinxin suddenly had an inspiration. Rich, yet not heavy. It was a little strange to have inspiration here, but it was still something to be happy about.
She put the food into Chen Tongyun's bowl. Chen Tongyun sat proudly in her seat, waiting to be fed, just like she was being pampered by Xi Xinxin.
"Okay. You put all of this in. Then take some out and put it in my bowl."
The filter shattered completely in an instant.
Despite her dissatisfaction, Chen Tongyun still served food to Xi Xinxin. The atmosphere was harmonious and pleasant.
Perhaps it was happiness, or perhaps it was the slight smoke on her face, but Chen Tongyun looked much better.
They ordered a lot of food, but the two of them still managed to finish it slowly. Chen Tongyun was so full that she couldn't even stand up.
"I can't go on. Can you carry me back?"
Xi Xinxin wiped her mouth and took out her phone: "Add you as a friend. Scan the QR code."
Chen Tongyun had been waiting for this moment for a long time! She had finally won over Xi Xinxin and added her as a friend. This meant that Xi Xinxin was now completely at her feet. She opened her phone, her hands trembling slightly.
She chuckled to herself the moment she added him as a friend, and then she saw the payment.
Xi Xinxin met Chen Tongyun's questioning gaze and explained, "Give it back to your mother. Treat me next time we run into each other. It's on me today."
After dropping Chen Tongyun off at the hotel, Xi Xinxin returned to her own hotel room. While inspiration was still flowing, Xi Xinxin began frantically mixing things up.
She spent the entire night working on it. She wrote down the recipe, quantities, and measurements. Then she arranged several different bottles and took them to the shop.
I called over a few staff members to test the smell.
Xi Xinxin also sent a private message to that fan, asking if she had time to come and visit.
The fan was ecstatic. She had been keeping an eye on the group chat. She had seen Xi Xinxin's posts and was surprised that the new product was released so quickly.
There are still several bottles. The fan said she would arrive this afternoon. Please, Xi Xinxin, wait for her.
The staff gave their initial evaluation. There were five new products in total.
