Chapter 2 This is the second part

Upon entering the villa, Xi Xinxin exclaimed inwardly, "Wow, this is amazing! The decor and design are so luxurious! Truly luxurious! Dealing with a 16-year-old is a piece of cake!" Xi Xinxin, without a hint of narcissism, had always been the darling of the women's group since childhood, so of course she had some tricks up her sleeve.

"Dair, have you packed your luggage? Come down quickly. I've brought Yinyin back. Mom will take you to that house. Take good care of yourself. Spend a few days there and decide if you like it before making a decision, okay?"

As soon as Madam Xi finished speaking, a little girl came out of the room carrying a large suitcase. The maid beside her helped carry the suitcase downstairs. Although Xi Dai was only 16 and still developing, she was very pretty, with large eyes inherited from her adoptive mother, Xi Yin. Combined with her mother's upbringing, she also possessed a unique气质 (qi zhi, a kind of refined elegance or poise) that gave her reason to be proud.

Xi Dai glared at Xi Xinxin. She felt that this girl was just looking for trouble and pretending to be a good Samaritan to donate blood, only to take away her life!

Xi Xinxin greeted everyone warmly: "Hi, hello, my name is Xi Yin."

Xi Dai snorted coldly, displaying the arrogant and domineering demeanor of a young lady. Madam Xi frowned and lightly patted Xi Dai: "You should also greet them. Yin Yin is much more polite."

To Xi Dai, these words meant that she wasn't as important as her own daughter. Her daughter had raised her for so many years, yet she wasn't as valued as a blood relative. Her eyes reddened slightly, and she glared at Xi Yin, but still gave her name.

"Mom, I don't want to go. I just want to stay here. I don't want to experience it anymore. I just want to stay here."

Madam Xi looked troubled, since both families had agreed to each other's terms.

At this point, Madam Xi considered for a while whether to refuse Xi Dai, but Xi Dai would mistakenly believe that Madam Xi valued blood relations more. Later, this would affect Xi Yin.

Xi Xinxin chuckled first, then stepped forward and took Xi Dai's hand. She spoke first, "Wow, you're so pretty, your eyes are so beautiful, you look just like my mom! My mom always complimented me on my looks, saying I looked like her, but that's not true at all. Your name is Xi Dai, right? Can I call you Dai Dai? Your eyes are so beautiful, they look like they have stars in them."

Xi Dai was taken aback, her ears turning slightly red. She had never heard anyone praise her so much before, and her earlier malice lessened considerably. But she just wanted to stay in this home; she couldn't bear to leave.

"Mom, isn't it obvious? There's no need to experience it at all. Dai Dai seems really reluctant to part with you. She definitely doesn't want you to be sad, so she doesn't dare to say anything." Xi Xinxin doesn't lie. Even her compliments come from the heart. False words only give off a hypocritical feeling and are annoying.

Madam Xi began to sob again. After all, this was her daughter whom she had raised for more than ten years. She hugged Xi Dai and patted her head, saying, "Alright! You can stay here!"

Next, Mrs. Xi looked at her husband, who seemed to be opening his mouth but then hesitated, unsure what to say. She was in a dilemma, having already agreed to the request, and felt like she was being forced to take her child away.

Xi Xinxin then took Xi Dai's hand and looked at her new father. Xi Dai actually preferred her mother; her father's large business and imposing presence had always prevented her from taking the initiative to get close. Xi Dai didn't know what Xi Xinxin was up to, but she was grateful that she had spoken up for him earlier. It seemed something was subtly changing within her.

"Dad, you don't need to bring a suitcase. Could you please take Dai Dai and me to that mother's house together? I'll explain it to them properly. Dai Dai has been living here for so long and has developed some habits. Changing things all of a sudden will put a lot of pressure on her, both physically and mentally. So I'd like to go with her."

Upon hearing about the mental and physical stress, Xi's father, whose face was usually expressionless, couldn't help but frown. He was also very concerned about his child, though not as obviously as Xi's mother. He was also gratified that Xi Xinxin was so sensible and willing to participate in this matter, which warmed his heart towards his biological daughter.

Xi Dai was still dazed as she got into the car, but the sadness of being abandoned earlier vanished in an instant. Looking at her hand, which was still being held by Xi Xinxin, she suddenly felt a little awkward. They... weren't that close, were they?

Xi Xinxin considered herself a master at charming girls, so reading this novel made her realize that some things could have been avoided, but the act of humiliating them just for the sake of it was really unpleasant. Seeing Xi Dai's shifty gaze, occasionally glancing at their clasped hands, she chuckled inwardly and said, "Is it alright for me to hold your hand? Are you uncomfortable? Your hand feels so nice! But if you don't like it, I'll take it away."

"No, no. I don't... I don't like it..." Xi Dai's voice grew softer and softer, and she turned her head away from Xi Xinxin with a snort, but she didn't let go of her hand.

At first, Xi's father was worried that they wouldn't get along, but seeing this scene, he felt much more at ease.

(Host, is this what you humans mean when you say you either hate green tea girls or you're annoyed that their targets aren't you?)

"Nonsense! I was absolutely sincere. Really? You've never held a girl's hand before? Wow, it's so soft!"
