Chapter 5 I Won’t Tell You! (Edited)
"How strange? Why is there no reaction? Could it be that my memory is not accurate?"
Seeing Xu Ren'er standing there motionless, Yu Hui was a little puzzled.
Since he decided to teach a dog martial arts, Yu Hui thought that he should at least resolve the language barrier between them first. Otherwise, how could he teach it if he didn't even know what the other party was saying?
Yu Hui didn't feel the changes around him at all. When he saw that Xu Ren'er didn't respond, he thought he had remembered the content incorrectly, so he hurriedly lowered his head and flipped through the book in his hand.
Tang Qiuyue was the first to lose patience. As the most mischievous of the three disciples, she had no fear of the authority of her elders. She got up from the ground and asked loudly in Yu Hui's direction:
"Master, what are you going to do? Can you tell us? So we can be mentally prepared in advance!!"
They don't want to see their master having a seizure from time to time and start to doubt their lives.
Hearing the voice, Yu Hui turned around, staring at the three people opposite with burning eyes, and his mind began to brew.
The next second, a meaningful smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, which made the three of them shudder.
"You three come here for a moment."
Mo Youli, who got up a little later than Tang Qiuyue, looked at each other, and the two of them walked forward tacitly and stopped one meter away from Yu Hui.
Tang Beiju followed closely behind him. He picked up the sword that fell on the ground with an expressionless face, put it into the scabbard, and strode towards him. When he was half a meter behind Tang Qiuyue and the other man, he stopped moving forward and just looked at Yu Hui coldly.
Yu Hui didn't mind Tang Beiju's actions at all. He picked up Xu Ren'er with one hand, put the books aside, touched Xu Ren'er's little head, and said softly:
"From today on, it will be your junior apprentice. You must take good care of each other."
When he touched Xu Ren'er's bones, he discovered that it was a male dog, so it would be right to call him Junior Brother.
The three people were shocked at the same time.
"Master, why do you want Xiaoba to be our junior apprentice?" Mo Youli stepped forward and asked.
That was his dog, warm and healthy, and he hadn't even lived in his house for a few days. How did he become his junior apprentice for no apparent reason?
So this dog's name is Xiaoba. Yu Hui thought to himself that this name, with its good taste, must have been given by Qiuyue.
"I know what's right. I'll explain it to you when I have time."
He ignored Mo Youli's question and spoke calmly.
As for when I'll have time, that's hard to say.
He couldn't tell them that this was purely to satisfy his curiosity - could dogs learn martial arts like humans?
"Are you done? If you're done, I'll go practice my sword skills."
After Yu Hui finished speaking, Tang Beiju interrupted him directly. His tone was quite impatient and his eyes were as cold as an iceberg.
It was completely different from what Xu Ren'er had seen at first.
"No."
Yu Hui answered decisively, without showing any anger on his face at Tang Beiju's attitude.
Mo Youli stared at Yu Hui closely. For some reason, he felt as if he saw the four big words "bad intentions" on his face.
He couldn't help but frown and was about to say something when he was interrupted.
Facts proved that his intuition was correct. What Yu Hui said next made the three people lose control of their expressions.
“Since we are from the same school, communication is a must.
Xiaoba is still young and doesn't understand human language very well, so I hope you can cooperate with Xiaoba first, learn its language and communicate with it.
Once communication is smooth, we can teach Xiaoba to learn our human language."
After he finished speaking, he picked up the book that was placed aside and showed the cover to the three people - "Learn Dog Talk in a Quarter of an Hour".
"Master, are you kidding us? This is not funny at all." Tang Qiuyue couldn't believe it.
She liked Xiaoba very much and didn't mind that Xiaoba became her junior brother. It was quite comfortable to have another person, no, another dog, to accompany her, to laugh and play with her.
But!!! She doesn’t want to learn another language!
Learning martial arts is tiring enough, and she still has to study the Four Books and Five Classics to avoid becoming illiterate. And then she has to learn a language that has no use to her. Wouldn't that exhaust her to death?!
She has always understood the principle that the more you learn, the more tired you are.
Besides, she had just heard her master's barking, and she didn't want to be the one barking everywhere, it would be so embarrassing! !
Mo Youli's face also looked unhappy. His thoughts were no different from Tang Qiuyue's. He could accept Xiaoba becoming his junior brother, but he would never accept learning to bark like a dog.
As for Tang Beiju, as soon as Yu Hui finished speaking, he turned around and left, found an open space, drew his sword, and continued practicing, expressing his protest with his actions.
"Master is not joking with you."
"I don't agree! Xiaoba can be my junior apprentice, but I don't want to learn anything from you!"
Tang Qiuyue glanced at the book in Yu Hui's hand and refused it without any hesitation.
"Master can take the initiative to learn in order to promote the relationship between master and apprentice, so why can't you learn too?"
Yu Hui immediately frowned and started to act like an elder.
However, the three people present were completely unimpressed by his words. Tang Qiuyue retorted, "Master is Master, and I am me! I want to improve my relationship with Xiao Ba, so I will naturally use my own methods. I will absolutely not accept Master's demands!"
After she finished speaking, she turned around with a puff of anger on her face and walked away, returning to her original position and obediently doing her horse stance.
Mo Youli's reaction was the calmest among everyone. He watched quietly from the side.
After a long while, he sighed and said slowly:
"Master, why are you doing this? Although we are young, we still know you a little bit.
Please don't take your bad taste out on us."
Yu Hui, a man who looks kind but actually has a very bad personality.
He often has a lot of strange ideas in his mind, and he is also a real drama queen who likes to play tricks on his disciples.
It can be said that if the apprentice is not in danger, then he is the biggest danger.
Yu Hui's pretentious expression faded, his brows and eyes full of teasing. He waved his hand and said, "A-Li, among the three of us, you are indeed the smartest one. Nothing can fool you."
His hand gently touched the cover of the book, scratched the corner of the title, and tore off a piece of paper. On the paper were the nine large characters he had forged - "Learn Dog Talk in a Quarter of an Hour".
After tearing off the paper, the original title of the book was revealed. It was just an ordinary martial arts secret book.
Xu Ren'er's jaw dropped in shock.
It turned out that the young man was acting from beginning to end, even teasing her, a dog.
What kind of boring person could do such a thing! Not only did he try to trick a dog, but he even tried to imitate a dog's bark just to make it look good?!
She just thought that because her soul was human, she couldn't understand what he was saying!
"Master, you're joking. Youli isn't a very smart person. I was deceived just now. But after thinking about Master's usual style of doing things, I was able to figure out some of the truth."
Mo Youli did not feel proud or proud because of Yu Hui's praise. He just said a few words calmly and took it over.
"It's a lie to let you study the contents of the books, but I'm serious about letting Xiaoba be your junior apprentice."
No longer teasing his disciples, Yu Hui smiled and expressed his true thoughts.
Then, he threw the martial arts secret book behind him, manually moved the direction of Xu Ren'er's head so that Xu Ren'er was facing him, and said even more surprising words.
"Laughing Tyrant, huh? How long are you going to keep pretending? You actually understand what we're saying, right?"
As soon as these words were spoken, Xu Ren'er's pupils dilated instantly. She didn't know that this reaction just confirmed Yu Hui's guess.
"You want to know how I found out, huh?"
Hearing this, Xu Ren'er's mind was struggling, thinking about how to respond.
Finally, she just started and nodded at Yu Hui.
Since she's already been exposed, why should she continue to struggle?
In response, Yu Hui smiled and said word by word: "I won't tell you!"
Who will kill this annoying guy? ! !
As soon as Yu Hui opened his mouth, if Xu Ren'er was not in Yu Hui's hands, he would have wanted to strangle him to death and let him know how high the sky is and how thick the earth is!
"Woof woof woof!" Xu Ren'er shouted angrily, his mouth full of filthy curse words.
Unfortunately, they couldn't speak the same language, and Yu Hui couldn't understand what she was saying at all.
Faced with Xu Ren'er's reaction, he tilted his head, thought for a while, and came to a conclusion.
"It seems that although you can understand what we are saying, you are unable to speak human language."
"Master." Mo Youli's face was full of confusion and puzzlement. "What did you just say?"
What do you mean Xiaoba can understand what we say? What do you mean he can't speak human language? He can understand every word, but when he puts it all together, he doesn't understand what Master is saying.
"I mean, there could be a person living inside this dog."
In fact, when Xu Ren'er was first brought to Mo Youli, he did not notice that there was anything wrong with Xu Ren'er.
It was not until he had the idea of teaching Xu Ren'er martial arts, took Xu Ren'er seriously, and put Xu Ren'er on the same position as his apprentice, that he discovered Xu Ren'er's problem.
Although she looks like a dog, her every move is so much like a human, especially after their conversation, the change in expression on Xu Ren'er's face, as if she could understand what they were saying.
Generally speaking, normal people would not think too much about it and would just think that Xu Ren'er might be more human, but Yu Hui is not a normal person.
His background and personality destined him to be a person who can tolerate most outrageous things and has unlimited thinking.
In order to verify his guess, he seemed to be talking to other people, but in fact he was constantly observing Xu Ren'er.
Xu Ren'er herself is defenseless. She doesn't think anyone would believe the nonsense that there is actually a person living inside a dog, so she just acts like herself.
Xu Ren'er was exposed naturally without any intention.
"Ali, this dog of yours is no ordinary dog!"

As the sky darkened, the afterglow of the setting sun dyed the sky red.
As punishment, Yu Hui let Tang Qiuyue continue to stay there and practice horse stance alone. As for Tang Beiju, after practicing swordsmanship, he left early and went back to take a bath.
On the way back, Mo Youli was alone, holding a white dog. As the sun set, his shadow became very long, and the black color became lighter and lighter as it got longer.
He came to a high stone staircase and stopped without moving.
Xiaoba is different from other dogs. He knew this from the moment he picked up Xiaoba.
Otherwise, his magical perception would not have guided him to find Xiaoba and bring Xiaoba to his side.
However, he never thought that there was a human living inside Xiaoba's body.
"Laughing tyrant." He murmured.
Xu Ren'er looked up at him, feeling uneasy.
How would he treat her after knowing her true identity? Would he treat her as a monster and burn her?
They didn't have much contact and didn't have a deep relationship between them. Even if he killed her, he wouldn't be too sad, right?
So, what will he do?
Xu Ren'er felt a little nervous.
Should she break free from Mo Youli's arms and run away immediately?
Although the wandering life after escaping is a bit hard, it is at least better than being killed as a monster!
Run? Or not run?
