Chapter 91 made me cry.

Chapter 91 made me cry.

Jing Ge wanted to make a video call to Li Mushi, just to hear his voice, or even just to have him say a few words to her.

But it was too late.

The supplier who came to deliver the goods to the warehouse called her, and as soon as she answered, he was furious in his dialect: "Little sister, I'm not doing this order! What kind of people are in your quality control department? A bunch of young men who are so difficult to talk to. I've already said I don't understand, I don't understand. Show me where I'm wrong, and I'll have the workers fix it. How fierce he is..."

The boss was over fifty years old and his Mandarin wasn't very good; he had a strong accent from his hometown. Jingge switched to his local dialect and asked him to speak slowly.

"Please don't panic," Jing Ge said gently, "What went wrong?"

"The shipping label! The box number is printed the same everywhere. It can't be corrected manually. They insist we reprint it without even telling us where there's a print shop. And the young man's attitude is so bad!"

"......"

Zhang Siming is in charge of the warehouse quality inspection department.

The other party was still complaining: "I've already said either I'll have the workers print it, or you can deduct the money from the payment, but nobody listens. I'm so old, why should I put up with this?"

“Please wait a moment,” Jingge said calmly. “I’m coming over now.”

"Hurry up, hurry up, I still have goods to deliver."

"good."

Jingge was somewhat angry on the way to the warehouse, but when she got there, she didn't lose her temper. After confirming the problem, she pointed the boss in the direction of the printing shop.

The boss told the worker to go print first, then pulled her aside and complained, "Why is your warehouse like this..."

"Boss, get this straight, the order details are all there," a male colleague from the quality control department said impatiently. "If you don't understand, go talk to sales. We're only responsible for receiving and inspecting the goods, not for providing emotional support!"

Boss: "Xiao Jing, you saw that, right? You saw that..."

Zhang Siming came over with a water glass: "I'm sorry, quality inspection and business are not in a superior-subordinate relationship. We follow the rules."

Jing Ge ignored him and gently reassured the boss, "It's all resolved now, it's just a minor issue."

"How can you work with someone like that?" the boss said indignantly. "He has absolutely no gentlemanly manners..."

Before he could finish speaking, Zhang Siming's expression changed drastically. He slammed his water glass to the ground and grabbed his boss's clothes, dragging him out: "I told you it's company policy. If you keep swearing..."

The workers and quality control colleagues who were waiting nearby immediately surrounded them, and shouts and arguments filled the air.

Jing Ge's eyes turned red with anger: "Zhang Siming! Don't you have any class?!"

“...How am I tasteless?” Zhang Siming retorted sarcastically. “I’m just telling you, I won’t accept your goods anymore, and my brothers won’t help you either. You can do it yourself.”

Jing Ge lifted his foot and left.

Zhang Siming: "Are you going to find your secret backer?"

Jing Ge suddenly stopped.

After a moment, she turned back to look at him: "You don't need to be sarcastic, because you and I won't be in the same circle. Receiving and inspecting goods is your job. You can do it if you want, or the boss will take care of it if you don't. Do you think you can threaten me?"

At this point, Jing Ge clearly stated, "I have nothing to hide, but I don't need to explain to you, so I have nothing to say!"

After walking quite a distance and entering the elevator, Jing Ge finally wiped his eyes hard.

Back in the office, Jingge took the new order to Amanda for her signature.

The moment the door was opened, the man who was drinking tea and chatting with Amanda and Zhang Hong looked up.

Jingge suddenly stopped.

“Oh,” Amanda looked her over, “I heard there was a commotion in the warehouse?”

Jing Ge's face was tense as he looked away from Li Mushi: "A minor problem, solved."

Amanda couldn't help but laugh: "You even cried?"

Jing Ge replied awkwardly, "No."

“Alright,” Amanda shrugged, took the order, and handed her a stack of stamped documents. “President Li needs to see you.”

Jing Ge asked, his voice nasal, "What is it?"

Amanda couldn't help but laugh.

"Going to the market?" Li Mushi stood up. "On the way."

Jing Ge: "......"

What route do you take?

Jingge didn't ask any more questions. Her little face was tense. She stuffed the order into his arms and turned to walk out.

The man, holding her stack of orders to be delivered, remained silent for half a second before reluctantly following her.

As I was leaving the company, Zhang Siming happened to be walking up the steps.

The three collided head-on.

Jing Ge didn't even look, took two quick steps forward, then suddenly turned back and grabbed a man's hand.

She put her hand in his.

Li Mushi's lips curled slightly, and his large, slender hand enveloped hers, gently squeezing it in his palm.

With a gesture that bordered on sulking, he basically figured out the whole story.

Li Mushi led her past Zhang Siming.

Jingge pulled him along quickly, not giving anyone a chance to say hello.

Who is hiding something?

She could have acted openly and honestly.

Sitting in Li Mushi's car, Jing Ge kept turning his head to look out the window.

Her ears, hidden under her hair, were hot and red.

He wasn't as talkative as usual.

The road was quiet, it was quiet when delivering orders, and it was quiet on the return trip.

Li Mushi glanced at her: "Are you feeling better?"

“...What?” Jingge turned to look at him, then immediately turned back.

Li Mushi: "Are you feeling better? Talk to me if you are."

Jing Ge: "Why aren't you talking to me?"

The man chuckled softly, "I was afraid you hadn't recovered yet."

Jingge fell silent again.

"Didn't you have something to do? You should go take care of it first," she said vaguely.

Li Mushi: "It's done."

Jing Ge: "?"

Could his job be just accompanying her to deliver orders?

Jing Ge scratched at the seat and said matter-of-factly, "I want to hug you."

The car pulled over to the side of the road.

Before he had even come to a complete stop, Jing Ge had already unbuckled his seatbelt, leaned his upper body over the driver's seat, and placed himself in his arms.

The man supported her waist with his arm, stroked her head with his hand, and whispered patiently in her ear, "What's wrong?"

The girl nuzzled her face against his neck, her voice muffled: "I'm scared."

Li Mushi: "What are you afraid of?"

Jing Ge: "I'm just scared."

The man lowered his arm, supporting her legs, and moved her entirely from the passenger seat.

Jingge went from embracing him to being held in his arms.

Changes that are proactive and reactive.

He held him close, firm and warm, and Jingge felt like he was hiding in a safe house, his fluffy head nuzzling against his chin.

Li Mushi gently pinched the back of her neck, the vibrations from his vocal cords as he spoke sending a tingling sensation through her cheek: "Are you afraid of something, or someone?"

"I can't explain it," Jingge whispered, "I'm just scared..."

I'm afraid things will get out of control.

Li Mushi lowered his eyes and could only see her slender back.

They were all smiles when they came back at noon.

"Is it because of Zhang Siming?"

Jingge suddenly became angry: "That's not true!"

How could she possibly be influenced by Zhang Siming!

Li Mushi pressed her head back onto his shoulder, his calm demeanor exuding a fearless strength: "Who have you met? What have you heard?"

Jing Ge's chaotic thoughts seemed to have been untangled by him.

Finally, she had a clue: "Aunt Man said that Zhuo Yueyue's biological father is my father."
