Chapter 73 Scarred Shackles

Chapter 73 Scarred Shackles

"Jin Shiyu!" Jin Suiqing punched and kicked the person next to her, "If you don't let go of me, I... I'm going to bite you!"

Jin Shiyu, wrapped in a blanket, was still mute. He looked down at Jin Suiqing, whose face was flushed from the heat and who was pressed against his chest, looking a little awkward. He smiled lazily and lowered his head to rub his nose against hers.

Jin Suiqing wasn't going to be polite with him. She opened her mouth to bite his nose, but Jin Shiyu dodged it reluctantly and raised an eyebrow, saying, "You really want to bite me?"

"Otherwise what?" Jin Suiqing glared at him, baring her teeth. "I'm warning you, my teeth are very sharp. If you bite me, you'll definitely draw blood. Let me go right now."

Kim Shi-ok leaned back on the pillow and calmly looked at her. "Then bite it."

The implication is that they won't let go.

After experiencing a marriage certificate, a kiss, and a whole bunch of other chaotic things, he opened his eyes to find that the furnishings of the house had changed, clearly reflecting Jin Shiyu's words. He then rushed back to the capital with her unconscious body.

Thinking of the passionate kiss before she fainted, and looking up at Jin Shiyu with her red lips and a smile, Jin Suiqing was furious. "You said it yourself!"

Having said that, he found the right spot and, through the thin undergarment, bit down on Kim Shi-ok's left pectoral muscle.

Jin Suiqing bit precisely, aiming at a light-colored spot under the fabric. Although Jin Shiyu's pectoral muscles weren't as exaggerated as Gong Dagou's, they were still there, thinly covering his chest, extending to his shoulders and neck, past his undulating biceps, and joining his beautiful shoulder blades.

Jin Suiqing had seen it and remembered it. Because she remembered it clearly, she hated that Jin Shiyu had been blinded by greed and had not seen through Jin Shiyu's wolfish ambitions and treacherous schemes.

This only made them more itchy, so they not only bit down but also pulled outwards.

To avenge the throbbing, swollen feeling in her lower lip.

Jin Shiyu frowned at her but did not stop her. A pain she hadn't felt in a long time came over her, and it felt incredibly sharp in her heart.

When Jin Suiqing got tired of biting and let go, Jin Shiyu held Jin Suiqing down with one hand and pulled open her collar in front of her with the other, showing her her snow-white chest with bite marks. She relaxed her brow and chuckled, "It's okay, it doesn't hurt."

A light red tooth mark surrounded a light red dot, with some ambiguous water stains. Jin Suiqing spat out a "pui".

Of course it doesn't hurt, she didn't really use any force.

Seeing that she was silent, Jin Shiyu forced a smile, paused for a moment, and kissed her puffed-up cheek. "It's nowhere near as painful as when you hurt me when you were little."

Jin Suiqing remained silent. Jin Shiyu lowered his head, opened his mouth and held her cheek, grinding his teeth against her soft flesh.

He had wanted to do this for a long time.

Her face was soft, puffing up when pressed against his chest; she was also soft, as if she could easily devour him with a few bites.

Jin Suiqing, unaware of his intentions, assumed he was seeking revenge. She pulled her hands out from under the covers and used them to push him away, saying, "Jin Shiyu, don't bite me."

"Double standards," Jin Shiyu laughed. "Fine, fine, if Suiqing can bite me, I can't bite Suiqing."

Jin Suiqing sensed the sarcasm in his voice, glared at him again, and before he could let go, she wriggled her body and slowly turned her back to him.

She was waiting for the person behind her to get bored and leave on their own.

Unexpectedly, Jin Shiyu, who was behind her, did not let go. Instead, she used her free hand to slowly comb her hair, gathering the hair hanging down her back into a strand, gently lifting it, and placing it on her shoulder.

A cool breeze blew against the back of her neck, carrying the scent of milk. Jin Suiqing shivered, not wanting to acknowledge anyone, and suppressed the itch without turning around.

The person behind her intensified their actions, touching it with their icy fingertips and lightly stroking it again and again.

Jin Suiqing suppressed her anger, closed her eyes, and thought to herself, "That scheming bastard, let go of me, I'm freezing to death."

As if words had been spoken and law had been followed, the cold fingertips left.

Jin Suiqing had just breathed a sigh of relief, but before the chill on the back of her neck had completely dissipated, warm breath pressed against her. Jin Suiqing screamed in fright, "Jin Shiyu!"

As if ignoring her, Jin Shiyu opened his mouth and took Jin Suiqing's nape into his mouth, sucking and kissing her forcefully. With his eyes closed, he reacted extremely quickly, turning over before Jin Suiqing could struggle, pressing half of his shoulder down on her.

Unable to move, she was kissed too hard. Jin Suiqing groaned and gasped twice. His lips wandered back and forth along the back of her neck, following her shoulder and neck upwards to her ear.

Now, Jin Suiqing could hear his urgent, heavy breathing clearly.

Jin Suiqing was frightened and cried out in panic, "Jin Shiyu, stop!"

Hearing this, the person pressing down on her stopped his aggressive actions, reluctantly pressed his lips against her neck, which was flushed from being sucked, and kissed her twice before saying in a low, hoarse voice, "Suiqing is finally willing to talk to me."

Jin Suiqing was completely out of options.

She said sullenly, "How come I never realized you were such a shameless person?"

And she's still so clingy.

She didn't say that.

Jin Shiyu wrapped his arms around her from behind, saying, "I learned it from you."

"Was I really that shameless before?" Jin Suiqing turned around, stared at Jin Shiyu, and voiced her long-held doubts. "Jin Shiyu, tell me, what kind of person am I in your eyes?"

Jin Suiqing looked at him, but Jin Shiyu deliberately avoided her gaze, picking up a strand of her hair and twirling it in his hand. Jin Suiqing grabbed his hand and snorted, "Hurry up and tell me, Jin Shiyu."

Kim Shi-ok casually hooked her finger in his hand and pressed it to his lips. "You care about this?"

“I wouldn’t say I care, I’m just curious,” Jin Suiqing rubbed against the pillow and said seriously, “You see, the first time we met you almost strangled me… I heard that from someone else; later, when you were taking care of me, you were indifferent to me, and I had to talk to you, but you probably wouldn’t even listen; and then as I grew up, your face got longer and longer… no, it got longer and longer and uglier, you were so controlling, it was annoying…”

As Jin Shiyu listened to her rambling on, he adjusted his posture, put one hand on her waist, propped up his head with the other, and looked at her with a smile.

Her lips were still a little swollen, as if she were pouting, and she kept opening and closing them. When she got emotional, she would even look up and glare at him.

However, because his eyes are large and always seem watery, he lacks any real threat when he says harsh words.

It doesn't sound like she's angry, it sounds like she's being coquettish.

Jin Suiqing muttered until her mouth was dry, but the person above her didn't say anything. She looked up at him in confusion and saw him smiling at her with a pair of peach blossom eyes that looked at dogs with deep affection.

Silently reciting "beauty leads to ruin," Jin Suiqing secretly bit her tongue, urging herself to feign anger as she poked his chest with her finger, "Jin Shiyu, are you even listening?"

Kim Shi-ok: "I'm listening."

"So what did I just say?"

Jin Shiyu thought for a moment and said, "You said you find me annoying."

Jin Suiqing was furious. "I can tell you weren't listening. What I said was that I find it annoying because you treat me like a prisoner, not because I find you annoying."

She chattered on and on, and whether Jin Shiyu listened or not was unknown. She lowered her head and pecked Jin Suiqing's lips, "Okay, Suiqing doesn't find me annoying."

"Jin Shiyu!" Jin Suiqing jumped up. "Are you kidding me?"

Kim Shi-ok blinked innocently, "No."

The beauty lay on the couch, a half-smile playing on her lips, her eyes conveying unspoken emotions. In this scene, Jin Suiqing quickly closed his eyes, silently repeating "lust makes one lose their mind" several times, before steer the conversation back to the original point: "Jin Shiyu, how exactly do you see me?"

Jin Shiyu paused for a moment, then sat up. He gently patted the bed, beckoned Jin Suiqing to sit down, and took her hair ribbon from under the pillow.

He combed his hair quite often when he was the older brother, and Jin Suiqing was used to him doing it. Without any affectation, she moved over and sat down next to him.

Jin Shiyu first placed his hands on his neck to warm them before picking up the comb and combing Jin Suiqing's hair.

He was very skilled. He first combed Jin Suiqing's hair by the roots, then divided it into several sections according to today's hairstyle and braided it for her.

Jin Suiqing knew that Jin Shiyu was good at braiding hair. It was easy to comb, the hair was just the right consistency, and it wouldn't come loose easily. It also looked good, and she was even more skillful than Huihong.

When she came across the book, the ancient people's messy hairstyles annoyed her. Usually, in the workshop, she would just use clippers to hold her hair up, as long as it didn't get caught in the machine. When she got really annoyed, she would just cut her hair short, doing it very quickly and ruthlessly, which made Tony feel sorry for her.

With Jin Shiyu around, there was one less thing to worry about. Jin Suiqing closed her eyes and hummed a little tune happily, when she suddenly heard Jin Shiyu say, "I used to hate Suiqing."

"Hmph, not surprising," Jin Suiqing said dismissively.

Kim Shi-ok paused for a moment. "You can see through everything."

Jin Suiqing: "And then, when did you stop hating me?"

Jin Shiyu lowered his eyes, a sinister glint in them, as if he had thought of something. He stared intently at the back of Jin Suiqing's head. "I can't remember clearly, but it was probably the night of the explosion at Zuixianlou."

That night at Zuixianlou was a showcase of her masterful seduction techniques. Jin Suiqing, somewhat carried away by her pride, boasted, "The night you applied the medicine for me?"

The act of combing her hair completely stopped.

Jin Suiqing shuddered violently and opened her eyes in terror.

broken.

They got Kim Shi-ok to get information out of him.

She was six years old then. Children of that age mostly act on instinct. Her return now proves that her return to Zuixianlou and her subsequent crying and questioning while applying medicine were entirely intentional.

Jin Suiqing hurriedly tried to turn her head to explain, but Jin Shiyu pressed her head down with his warm hand, his tone indifferent and unreadable, "Don't turn around, I'm combing my hair."

Jin Suiqing, feeling fortunate, sat on the bed with a stiff upper lip, feeling extremely uncomfortable.

Jin Shiyu asked her again, "Do you want to hear more?"

Having been tricked into revealing too much, Jin Suiqing had no choice but to nod, even if she didn't want to listen.

Jin Shiyu tucked the stray hairs behind her ear and pinched her earlobe as he spoke, "I won't lie. From that day on, I don't dislike Jin Suiqing."

Or perhaps, from beginning to end, Kim Si-ok never disliked Kim Sue-cheong.

He paused for a moment, then swallowed those words back.

Thinking that someone was scolding her for talking nonsense, Jin Suiqing hesitated for a long time before saying, "Then when did you start to have that idea of... getting married to me?"

She really didn't know, and that was the strangest thing.

Jin Shiyu didn't answer her. He tied her hairband, got off, and found the jewelry box she had thrown away. Unlike last time when she wanted to put all the jewelry in her hair, Jin Shiyu picked out two turquoise hairpins that were most suitable for her and put them in her hair.

After he finished tying the hairpin, he didn't let Jin Suiqing turn around. Then there was a clanging and banging sound, which seemed to be the sound of metal chains clashing. Jin Suiqing was curious and turned around to see what he was doing.

Before she could even see clearly, she had just stepped off the bed barefoot when Kim Shi-ok's hand wrapped around her ankle.

The warmth on his fingertips gradually faded, turning them increasingly cold. He then used the anklet, which had been warmed in his arms, to fasten around Jin Suiqing's ankle.

The anklet's edges were polished smooth, like a silver bracelet, with one end connected to a silver chain, slender yet sturdy, long, that disappeared into the dark underside of the bed.

Jin Suiqing stared at the shackles in surprise. Because the shackles appeared so suddenly, she even forgot to be angry. She raised her ankle blankly and shook it, the chains clanging together with a tinkling sound.

Although they originated from the same source, the sound was not as warm as the silver ring around the ankle; it sounded cold.

Kim Shi-ok knelt on the ground, and with his movement, his trousers pulled up, revealing his ankles.

Looking down, Jin Suiqing could see clearly that Jin Shiyu had a ring of ugly, reddish, pitted scars on his ankle.

It appeared to be a burn, a hundred or a thousand times uglier than the silver ring on her ankle.

Jin Shiyu held Jin Suiqing's foot, letting her step on his thigh. He lowered his eyes and looked at Jin Suiqing's ankle for a while before raising his head.

Looking up at her, Kim Shi-ok's gaze was devout and ardent, and she smiled brightly, "It might be a long time."
