Yao Niang was taken aback by how smoothly things went. She asked, "Does Father agree too?"
"Of course your father disagrees. Just be careful when you go out and don't let him find out. You don't need to worry about the rest." Madam Gu shook her head. That stubborn mule, she would have to think of a solution herself.
Gu Yaoniang then pounced on Madam Gu and began to act coquettishly. Although Madam Gu was delighted, she was not used to it and pushed Gu Yaoniang away with a smile.
"Alright, alright!" She pointed to the hairpin on Yao Niang's head, "Go and put it in your makeup box."
