Chapter 10 Yin Jiu
Before this, Yin Jiu had never thought that there were only two people sitting in the back seat that could accommodate four people, and he was squeezed close to the door.
But the other party didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with it.
In front, Hu Zheng was driving and chatting with Yin Jiuxian.
For men, "brother" is a very special word. No matter what your relationship was like before, as long as he calls you brother, it seems like he really treats you as a brother.
Hu Zheng's attitude was so enthusiastic that it didn't look like they hadn't spoken to each other for a year. If you didn't know, you would really think they were very good friends.
This also caused the co-pilot Li Xinzhu to give him strange looks several times.
Yin Jiu pretended not to see it and chatted casually with Hu Zheng.
He chatted lazily and casually, which sounded quite relaxing if he wasn't squeezed against the car door.
He doesn't really like physical contact with people. It's not because he's a kosher or anything like that, he's just simply not used to intimate relationships.
Fortunately, the distance was not too far, and the car arrived in a few minutes.
Yin Jiu was the first to get off the bus.
Hu Zheng brought a few people into a club and, under the guidance of the waiter, entered a private room.
There were already quite a few people in the private room, so it went without saying that they had to exchange pleasantries.
It had only been a year since we graduated, and we still remembered each other well. When we saw a new face, someone asked, "Who is this?"
Li Xinzhu introduced: "This is my younger brother. Hu Zheng said that he could bring his family. He happened to be at home with nothing to do, so I brought him here."
The man greeted with a smile: "Hello, brother."
Then I just ignored it. Today there were more than one or two people bringing their families and partners, and asking was just a social courtesy.
After the greetings, everyone found their own seats and sat down. As the initiator of the party, Hu Zheng sat in the main seat and said loudly, "Everyone, please have some drinks and some fruit snacks to fill your stomach. When it gets cooler outside, we can go to the outdoor BBQ. We can sing karaoke and play drama here. I won't entertain you. Today, we will just have some fun."
A classmate gave a thumbs up and said, "Brother Hu is so generous!"
"Don't worry, we won't be polite to you."
Hu Zheng was smiling.
The scene was very lively for a while.
We are all young college students. If the gathering is just like a gathering of office workers, where everyone sits there drinking and bragging, it would really be meaningless. It is more to everyone's liking to just eat and drink casually like this.
Yin Jiu felt that Hu Zheng was also a wonderful person, and after the party was over, he would probably leave a good impression on many people.
After the excitement, those who wanted to chat started chatting in groups of three or four, and those who didn’t want to chat also found somewhere to have fun.
Yin Jiu was sitting in the corner, leaning against the sofa, lazily with a relaxed attitude, but the strange thing was that no one came up to greet him.
In fact, many people found it strange that he appeared here.
Yin Jiu is a strange guy, and he is not the kind of person who always jokes. But if you ask him to make a joke, he can still chat with you back and forth.
But if you really think that just chatting with him twice and playing ball with him twice makes us friends, then you are overthinking.
No matter who looks for him, he will respond, but it is impossible to expect him to take the initiative to look for you.
The more I met him, the more I felt that Yin Jiu was a person who didn't seem to care about anything and didn't take anything to heart.
Like a wisp of wind wandering in the world, it cannot be touched or caught.
It's not like no one has tried to tame him, but they all failed.
No one disturbed him, so Yin Jiu felt happy and at ease.
The system can't help but say something sinister: "You don't seem to be very popular, do you have no friends?"
Yin Jiu didn't take it seriously: "What a joke, I... need friends?"
The system was shocked by his aura of a widower!
Compared to the lack of interest in Yin Jiu's case, Li Xinzhu's case can be said to be the center of attention.
He was a celebrity in high school, and today he dressed up nicely. His avant-garde fashion sense made him look much more attractive. He didn't stand out from the crowd, but he was eye-catching enough.
Because of the love for Li Xinzhu, even Ning Changyue, who was sitting quietly next to him like a transparent person, received a lot of attention. While showing her courtesy to Li Xinzhu, she did not forget to bring him some fruits and drinks.
Although he never touched those things from beginning to end.
Just as always, he stared straight at Yin Jiu.
It seemed that whenever Yin Jiu was around, he could only see Yin Jiu in his eyes.
Yin Jiu was also convinced. He knew that he was handsome, but there was no need to do this.
If someone were to mistakenly accuse you of hooking up with a minor, you would have no place to seek redress.
Not only the child, but Li Hsin-chu also glanced over from time to time.
Fortunately, Yin Jiu only knew that people's noisy voices would disturb his ears before, but today he gained more knowledge and was lucky enough to experience the feeling of being disturbed by sight.
Out of sight, out of mind. Yin Jiu got up and left the room, going to kill time in the script-killing room.
They were short of people and everyone welcomed his joining. But after playing two games, they felt a deep hostility towards him. It was more like a grudge killing than a scripted killing.
He was a good guy, but he was the first to be stabbed. He was a werewolf, but he was the first to be thrown out. Even though his speech was flawless, he was still thrown out.
Looking at the girls who were laughing secretly, and the boys who were just watching the show, Yin Jiu also figured it out. He was not angry, and pretended to be helpless and said, "So, they are all targeting me?"
A female classmate smiled and said, "How can this be said to be directed at me? Think about it carefully. Aren't you right?"
Another female classmate added: "No one who died at this table was innocent."
The boy sitting next to Yin Jiu also gloated: "Brother, yesterday's cause leads to today's result, just accept your fate."
A group of people burst into laughter.
Of course, they didn't mean any harm, they were just playing around for fun, and they dared to do so because they knew Yin Jiu wouldn't be really angry.
Yin Jiu said, "I'm quite resigned to my fate. This is how we play. You guys don't have much experience in games, so I'll be the judge. If this happens twice more, I'm afraid I'll be so angry that I won't be able to sleep tonight."
The girls were amused again, but after laughing, they felt a little sad.
No matter how humorous or witty he is, he will never belong to himself.
After this, Yin Jiu really acted as a judge. What he said was correct, and the fuss was over. Everyone still wanted to play a few rounds of good games.
None of us here are professional script-killing players, so it is difficult to control our emotions while playing. We are afraid of saying too much and making too many mistakes, so we try to keep our speeches brief and each game does not last long.
Good or bad people are almost all written on their faces.
But everyone had a great time.
When it was completely dark outside, Hu Zheng came over and asked everyone to go to the outdoor barbecue, but everyone was still a little reluctant to leave.
Yin Jiu waited for a while and walked at the end.
Walking side by side with him was the girl who had just performed the script-killing trick.
After leaving the house, the night breeze blew in. The girl tucked her messy hair behind her ears, tilted her head and asked him with a smile: "Yin Jiu, did you have a romantic relationship in college?"
"No." Yin Jiu replied with a smile.
The girl asked again: "Don't you have anyone you like?"
Yin Jiu still said: "No."
"Then..." The girl bit her lip, as if she was embarrassed. She paused for a few seconds before continuing, "If you fall in love in the future, can you tell me? I don't mean anything else, I just think, think..."
She bit her lower lip, not sure how to explain it without seeming presumptuous.
Yin Jiu glanced at her sideways and said gently, "If I fall in love, I will tell you."
"Thank you." The girl tried hard to smile.
Will Yin Jiu really tell her?
No, of course she knew that wouldn't happen. This person, who looked easy to talk to, was actually very cold.
But this is what she wants. As long as he doesn't tell her, he will always be single in her world.
She didn't need to know who he fell in love with, nor did she need to know who he was crazy about. This was the best ending.
"I'm going to go find my friends." After saying that, the girl took a few quick steps forward, then turned around and waved playfully: "Yin Jiu, goodbye!"
"Goodbye." Yin Jiu replied.
The system flying beside him said in a sinister tone: "Look carefully, the person standing in front of you is your wife!"
Yin Jiu raised his eyes and looked over, and saw Li Xinzhu with a dark face.
He uttered a soft "Huh?" and then said with relief, "Did I accidentally finish a plot?"
The system was speechless, wondering if your focus was too strange.
Shouldn't the point be that your wife misunderstood and is jealous?
