Chapter 370: Hyperion Appears
At night, north of the imperial capital Helrom.
The magic rail train had just come out of the trembling dark gray rock tunnel, passed through the winding mountains, and entered an endless, symmetrical, and quiet ancient forest.
The silhouette of the mountain top is accompanied by the occasional flickering lights, and the Helrom National Forest Park and lake outside the fortress city-state appear even deeper in the roar of the train.
The outline of Helrom in the distance gradually became clearer, and the lights of the city-state were lit one by one, dotted the sky, as if responding to the stars in the dark curtain.
Inside the carriage, the clock hands just passed seven o'clock, the pale yellow light danced on the solid wood decoration, the passengers were either sitting quietly or chatting, noise and silence were intertwined, the train attendants were busy patrolling between the carriages, responding to the passengers' various requests in an orderly manner, and after each service, they continued their pace with a professional smile on their face.
Hyperion sat by the window, her face reflected on the glass as she stared quietly out the window. Red hair accessories dotted her jet-black hair, which fell diagonally on her shoulders.
Mithra on the opposite side had already changed into the uniform of the Protoss Royal School of Magic, with some barely detectable demonic features on the tips of her ears.
From time to time, the rustling sound of Michela turning pages could be heard between the two of them, and they both kept quiet until they were about to reach their destination, Helrom.
Outside, the scenery flashed by, and occasionally the light of Helrom could be seen more clearly.
The sound of the pages closing broke the silence, and Michela put the book into her handbag. Although she had not finished reading "Romance of the Holy War" borrowed from her sister, she decided not to indulge in it and would read it after returning to school.
"Sister, don't worry. The imperial capital of Helrom is not that dangerous. The Resurrection Church cannot be as rampant as the Annihilation branch in the north. At least we won't encounter anyone from the Resurrection Church in school."
Michela seemed to notice the slight worry in Hyperion's expression, so she comforted her.
She felt that her sister might still be feeling uneasy because of what happened to her in Box Hill Province.
Most of the time, Hyperion appears calm, and only when she is with Michela, she relaxes a little and reveals her true feelings.
"Mithra... I understand. Thank you."
Hyperion looked at Michela, slightly stunned by her words, and then thanked her.
Although we had a brief thrilling experience at the checkpoint in Box Mountain Province, the journey through the northern part of the empire all the way to the central part was unexpectedly peaceful for more than a day.
Staying in this cozy space, she naturally felt less nervous in front of people close to her.
However, Mithra did not know the mission she was carrying out, nor the hellish mission she would have to face after arriving in the imperial capital of Helrom.
Whenever she thought about sneaking into the isolated prison in this strange city, or even going deep into the dark depths that could block the eighth-level demon clan, she would still feel afraid.
But she had no one to tell, so she could only keep this secret work deep in her heart.
"How is it? Do you like this book?"
Hyperion noticed that Michela was beginning to prepare for the train to arrive, and asked with a smile.
The book that Michella had just put away was the book that the Ice Witch lent to Hyperion to entertain herself when she was bored on the road. Later, she lent it to Michella to read.
This was originally a book that had been passed down from the Protoss Empire. It would not arouse suspicion within the Protoss. The most important thing was that the Ice Witch sealed "The Poet of Great Love" into a bookmark so that it could be hidden in this book to pass security checks.
"It's quite interesting. I don't want to watch anything else now. I just want to watch the loser's hysteria."
Michela commented, crossing her arms seriously.
Although this is a novel with the historical background of the jihad era and the story and characters are completely fictitious, there are three heroines in the book, each with their own characteristics. One of them is the queen who looks like the most powerful wife, another is the loser who looks like the most powerful wife, and another is the loser who looks like the most powerful loser.
"Are you talking about the girl who is either eating or holding food in her hands every time she appears?"
Hyperion asked in confusion. This book, which was just published by the Imperial Royal School of Magic at the beginning of this year, only has the first part, so it is hard to say who the winner will be in the end.
"That's her."
Michella nodded.
“I think she’s cute.”
Hyperion thought that if she were a boy, she would definitely like the heroine the most.
"I think the cutest ones are the younger heroines. If life is a journey, she feels despair and loneliness, but she can dispel these emotions, behave elegantly and keep her promises. She has a beauty that deserves to be held in the palm of your hand."
Michela said to Hyperion with a girlish heart.
There is no mistake in the poem, post, content, and read the book on 6, 9, and bar!
As the two of them started discussing topics related to the book, the short waiting moment seemed to speed up, and even the minute hand of the clock turned twice without them noticing.
With a slight tremor, the train began to slow down. The stars and lights outside the window gradually slowed down their speed of passing. The quiet night was replaced by the lights of the approaching Helrom platform.
The low hum between the wheels and the rails that had lasted all night gradually faded away, announcing that the end of the journey had arrived.
Michela and Hyperion both raised their heads from the world of books, and the topic came to an end. They looked through the windows of the carriage at the outside world.
On the approaching platform, the figures of people hurrying around gradually become clearer, and the sounds of passengers walking outside the compartment can be heard one after another.
"Sister, let's go to the commercial district to buy some things before going back to school."
Michella looked out the window, then looked at Hyperion and said, she always felt that her sister could not completely relax after leaving home, "If we don't go out on weekends, we won't be able to go out for several days on Monday."
If possible, Mithra obviously didn't want to stay in the Protoss Royal School of Magic for even a minute.
The luggage previously checked in at the station will be delivered directly to their residences by the Royal Academy of Protoss, which provides a docking service.
As students of nobility, Earl Milford arranged for them to move into a single-family house in the residential area on the north side of the college.
After getting off the train, they had almost no luggage with them. If they walked south from the station, they could reach the Protoss Royal School of Magic in more than ten minutes. If they walked north, they would arrive at a very prosperous commercial district in the southern part of the Helrom city-state. There were not only many famous shops in Helrom, but also a lot of lively things to see.
