A sinister, terrifying footstep sounded outside, growing ever closer.
The demon hunters are back!
The ginseng demon's pupils suddenly trembled. The next second, its ginseng whiskers grew infinitely long and spread, snatching the crimson silk from Yuan Jiang's hand and burrowing under the bed. It then gave Yuan Jiang a wink, trembling.
Yuan Jiang's lips twitched.
"Jiang Jiang, I'm back. Did you miss me?" A low, husky voice, tinged with longing, drifted in through the crack in the door. The tone of her voice, full of affection and longing, made it sound as if they were the most loving couple.
Immediately afterwards, a large, well-defined hand with a white, jade-like luster pushed open the door.
A cold wind carrying the scent of osmanthus blossoms rushed in from outside, and the bright moonlight shone on the young man in his emerald green robe. His dark eyebrows and eyes were covered with an unfathomable gloom, and his extremely aggressive gaze fell on Yuan Jiang, who was hiding in the corner, almost instantly.
His lips, as red as peonies, curved into a faint smile, and his entire demeanor was cold and sinister.

Yuan Jiang lowered her eyelids, too lazy to bother with this pervert.
Lou Ji wasn't angry. Instead, a wicked smile appeared on his face. Suddenly, a spider with a pointed head appeared in his hand. He handed it to Yuan Jiang and said in a soft, gentle voice, "Jiang Jiang, look what this is?"
"Ah!" Yuan Jiang looked up and saw the blood-soaked corpse. She screamed in fright, her face turning deathly pale and her eyes filled with terrified tears.
The spider must have died recently. Her head had been cut off, revealing a bloody and gruesome neck. At close range, Yuan Jiang could even see the still-bleeding blood vessels and flesh, which were oozing yellowish-brown pus. There was a large gash in her abdomen, oozing a thick, black liquid.
Lou Ji gently explained to her, "This spider demon is very cute, just like Jiang Jiang. She actually tried to transform into human form to get close to me."
“But I only have Jiang Jiang in my heart. Even when I was under the influence of aphrodisiacs that made me lose my mind, I still only had Jiang Jiang in my heart, so I killed her.”
"Jiang Jiang," his hot, muscular body pressed down on Yuan Jiang, restraining her hands, his eyes darkening, "I only react to you."

They ate ginger slices one after another, as if they were genuinely asking for her wishes and respecting her.
Yuan Jiang curled her lips into a cold smile and resisted, saying, "Lou Ji, I don't want to."
"No, you think so." Lou Ji frowned, a sense of unease rising in his heart. Recently, Jiang Jiang had become increasingly indifferent to him, and even during their most intimate moments, she was no longer willing to cooperate with him as before.
