Seven years later, in May, the weather gradually turned warm.
Huo Huaiwu hadn't finished get off work yet, and Yuan Jiang was bored at home, so she lay in the garden sunbathing. Beside her was a thin three-year-old boy wearing a white shirt and denim overalls, whose dark, bright eyes were staring at Yuan Jiang.
Yuan Jiang squinted her fox-like eyes and slapped the little boy on the forehead: "Huo Qiaojin, are you asking for a beating? Why are you staring at me like that?"
Huo Qiao is the child of Yuan Jiang and Huo Huaiwu. He just turned three years old this year. He looks exactly like Huo Huaiwu, and even their hobbies are similar. He always likes to stare at Yuan Jiang.
Although Yuan Jiang liked the little fox cub very much, Huo Qiaojin was really too abnormal. Just like his father, he always liked to look at her with a sinister and piercing gaze.

"Then can you stop looking at Mommy?" Yuan Jiang felt a chill run down her spine. Huo Qiaojin was like a human surveillance camera, watching her all the time except when she went to the toilet.
Huo Qiaojin shook his head with a humming sound, playing with Yuan Jiang's hair with his little hands. He pursed his lips, peeked at her serious expression, and lowered his voice to ask weakly, "Mommy, am I your favorite baby?"
"Of course!" Yuan Jiang gave Huo Qiaojin a quick kiss on the cheek.
"But Daddy said he's your favorite baby." The little guy's expression instantly turned aggrieved, his beautiful big eyes filled with tears, and he stared at her pitifully.
Yuan Jiang hugged Huo Qiaojin and coaxed, "Daddy is lying. Our Qiaojin is Mommy's most beloved baby."
"Hmm..." Huo Qiaojin smiled through her tears, frowned and hesitated for a moment before telling her, "Mom, actually Dad asked me to keep an eye on you."
“He said if I don’t keep an eye on you, you’ll become all of Dad’s.”
Yuan Jiang's smile froze. She looked down at her son's innocent and naive face, then leaned down and kissed him again: "So that's how it is."
"To reward my baby for honesty, Mommy will hold my baby while we sleep tonight."
Huo Qiao's eyes sparkled.

Huo Huaiwu didn't get home until 10 p.m. He opened the door, went up to the second floor, stood at the bedroom door, gently pressed the doorknob, and slowly pushed the door open. When he saw the petite figure on the bed, his thin, rosy lips curled up slightly. Then he stepped back and gently closed the door.
