Chapter 130 The Beginning of the Exploration of the Other Dimension

Ye Ling was shouting "Go!" with great enthusiasm one second ago, but the next second she felt something was wrong with her.

The mecha seemed to be drunk on old wine, swaying and the indicator lights on the console flashed wildly, as if it was dancing.

"What the hell?!" Ye Ling couldn't help but swear.

She tried to activate the thrusters, but all she heard was an awkward "puff" sound, and the mecha moved forward slowly, like a snail walking.

With this speed, wouldn't he be a sitting duck on the interstellar battlefield?

"Report! My mecha has a malfunction and many functions cannot be used!" Ye Ling immediately reported the situation to the command center.

Dr. Morris's panicked voice came from the communicator: "What?! How could this happen! This is impossible! I've done countless simulations, and this will never happen!"

Dr. Morris is an expert in the study of extra-dimensional space. He is said to have extensive theoretical knowledge, but almost no practical experience.

In the words of netizens, it is a typical case of "empty talk".

"Doctor, now is not the time to discuss possibilities. Please come up with a solution as soon as possible!" Ye Ling resisted the urge to complain and tried to remain calm.

"Uh...well...you should try restarting the system first..." Dr. Morris said hesitantly.

Restart the system?

How is this different from restarting your computer after a blue screen?

Ye Ling held her forehead weakly, but now she could only try her best to save the situation.

However, restarting the system does not help.

The mecha still staggered like a drunk, floating in the other dimension.

Ye Ling gritted her teeth, it seemed that she could only rely on herself.

She took a deep breath, called up the internal structure diagram of the mecha, and began to manually adjust the parameters.

"Zizizizi..." Following a burst of electric sound, the mecha's thrusters finally recovered some of their functions. Although the speed was not as fast as before, it could at least fly normally.

"Huh..." Ye Ling breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, she was not completely paralyzed.

She controlled the mecha and carefully explored this unfamiliar space.

Suddenly, a vague figure appeared in front of me...

"Who's there?" Ye Ling asked vigilantly.

A trembling voice came: "It's...it's me...Morris..."

Ye Ling controlled the mecha to slowly approach and saw the person clearly - it was indeed Dr. Morris, but he looked a little embarrassed now, his face was pale, and his protective suit had several holes in it. He was trembling all over, like a frightened rabbit.

"Doctor, why are you here?" Ye Ling asked in surprise.

"I... I don't know either..." Dr. Morris's voice trembled. "The shuttle I was on suddenly lost control and crashed here..."

"Where is your shuttle?" Ye Ling looked around and did not see any wreckage of the shuttle.

"I've been...sucked into a spatial crack..." Dr. Morris said with lingering fear. "This space is very unstable, with cracks everywhere. You must be careful!"

"Space crack?" Ye Ling's heart trembled. It seemed that this other-dimensional space was more dangerous than she had imagined.

"That's right!" Dr. Morris pointed in a direction. "According to my theory, the safe exit should be over there!"

Ye Ling looked in the direction Dr. Morris pointed, but it was all chaos and she couldn't see anything clearly.

"Are you sure?" She couldn't help but doubt. Although this doctor had rich theoretical knowledge, he had almost no practical experience. Was his judgment really reliable?

"Of course I'm sure!" Dr. Morris puffed out his chest, as if wanting to demonstrate his professionalism. "My theory is absolutely correct!"

However, Ye Ling's doubts grew more and more serious.

She recalled how Dr. Morris had promised the mecha that there would be no malfunctions, only to be proven wrong.

This time, she decided to trust her instincts.

"Thank you for the reminder, Doctor, but I still want to explore it on my own." Ye Ling politely rejected Dr. Morris's suggestion.

"What?! Are you crazy?! You will die if you don't listen to me!" Dr. Morris shouted excitedly.

Ye Ling ignored Dr. Morris's warning and controlled the mecha to fly in the opposite direction of his instructions.

Just after flying a distance, Ye Ling felt the surrounding space begin to distort and the mecha began to shake violently.

"Oh no! It's space distortion!" Ye Ling was shocked and quickly increased the power of the thrusters, trying to escape from this dangerous area.

At this moment, a huge space crack appeared in front of Ye Ling, like a giant beast with a bloody mouth, trying to swallow her.

"Ah!" Ye Ling exclaimed, and pulled the joystick suddenly. The mecha flew past the edge of the space crack, narrowly avoiding the danger.

After escaping the danger, Ye Ling patted his chest in shock, secretly thanking himself for not listening to Dr. Morris.

She continued to fly forward, and suddenly, a rustling sound came from the communicator...

"Duan Yu..." Ye Ling subconsciously called out a name.

The rustling sound in the communicator became louder, mixed with intermittent electrical sounds, as if someone was desperately calling her.

Ye Ling's heart suddenly tightened, and a bad premonition came to her mind.

"Duan Yu, is that you?" she asked tremblingly.

There was no response, only an endless rustling sound.

Damn it!

This is a broken dimension, the signal is too bad!

Ye Ling scratched her hair irritably.

She knew Duan Yu's character. If he knew he was in danger, he would come to her regardless of everything.
