Chapter 275: The Dawn of Cultural Relics: A Breakthrough in Crisis

Ye Ling took the information handed to her by Ike, her brows knitted into a knot, as if she was studying a world problem.

Those complex code clues were like a group of wild horses running wildly, completely out of the ordinary.

Her expression was as serious as a student about to take the college entrance examination. Her eyes were fixed on the screen, afraid of missing any details.

"This...are you kidding me?" Ye Ling muttered in a low voice, with a hint of dissatisfaction in her tone.

The air in the entire cultural relic preservation laboratory was frozen, and the tense atmosphere was even stronger than when they were resisting the pirate attack just now.

Everyone knows that code deciphering cannot tolerate any mistakes. Once they take a wrong step, they may be doomed.

Giggs was like an ant on the hot pan, pacing back and forth, wiping the cold sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief from time to time, as if he was about to faint in the next second.

Ye Ling took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down.

She stood side by side with Ike and began to sort out the confusing data.

Every time they discovered a new contradiction, their brows furrowed even more.

The surrounding electronic equipment also seemed to sense the tension, emitting subtle electrical sounds, as if cheering Ye Ling on, yet also as if mocking her helplessness.

"That's not right. The logic of this algorithm seems... there seems to be something wrong." Ike pointed at a piece of data on the screen, with a hint of doubt in his tone.

Ye Ling looked in the direction of his fingertips and was shocked. Indeed, there was a loophole here that was difficult to ignore.

"Could it be... could it be that the previous interpretation was really wrong?"

She felt her brain was running at high speed, with countless thoughts colliding in her mind, as if she was fighting a fierce battle.

Every attempt is like walking on a tightrope, and if you are not careful, you will fall into the abyss.

Restoring the cultural relics and preserving the environment were even more difficult, as if an invisible hand was deliberately obstructing her.

"Oh my god, is this thing going against me?" Ye Ling slapped the console in annoyance, with a hint of helplessness in her tone.

Every time a repair is made, new problems and new challenges arise.

The surrounding equipment seemed to be mocking her clumsiness, making a harsh noise.

The feeling of despair surged like a tide, almost drowning her.

She felt like she was groping in a maze and would never find the exit.

Just when Ye Ling was about to give up, a cold voice sounded in her ears: "Have you found a new direction?"

Ye Ling suddenly raised her head and found Duan Yu standing behind her. His eyes were as sharp as an eagle, as if he could see through everything.

Camille stood behind him, her arms folded across her chest, her face expressionless, making it impossible to tell what she was thinking at the moment.

Ye Ling was shocked. She felt an inexplicable power from Duan Yu's eyes, which calmed her originally irritable mood.

She nodded, but before she could say anything, she heard a sharp alarm coming from the communicator, the piercing sound made her ears buzz.

"What's going on?" Ye Ling asked.

"Pirates... they're coming again!" The communicator's voice trembled slightly.

The alarm sounded sharp and piercing, like a needle piercing Ye Ling's nerves, making her wake up instantly.

"Damn it! Why are these bastards here again? They're still haunting us!" She cursed softly, but her eyes became sharp, like a sword drawn from its sheath.

The world outside is in chaos.

Through the porthole, Ye Ling saw densely packed pirate warships swarming in like locusts, their firepower even more intense than last time, attacking them without any cost.

The transport ship was shaking violently, and alarms were blaring one after another, as if it would fall apart at any second.

"They have learned their lesson this time and are no longer so foolish as to confront us head-on," Duan Yu's voice sounded in her ears with a hint of solemnity, "It seems they came prepared." He put his arm around Ye Ling's shoulders, giving her silent comfort.

Camille stood aside and looked at Ye Ling with complicated eyes, as if she was re-evaluating her abilities.

"Vayne, get ready for battle!" Ye Ling shouted into the communicator, but did not get the expected response.

Where is Vayne?

This girl failed at the critical moment?

Just when Ye Ling was puzzled, Giggs's slightly excited voice came from the communicator: "Hey, little girl, watch me!" Then, suddenly, dazzling rays of light lit up outside the transport ship, and then, bursts of ghostly howls came from the pirates' communication channel.

"What's going on?" Ye Ling was confused.

"It's Ziggs and Vayne! They've set a trap!" Ike pointed at the surveillance screen, his voice trembling with excitement. "Those lights are decoy bombs. They've disrupted the pirates' radar system. Now they're like a swarm of headless flies!"

Ye Ling saw on the surveillance footage that the pirate warships were running rampant and attacking each other. It was simply a large bumper car scene.

She couldn't help laughing out loud, "Wow, these two guys are really good!"

Seizing this opportunity, Ye Ling quickly adjusted the defense system, concentrated all firepower on one point, and launched a precise strike.

"Beat them hard! Beat them until they doubt their lives!" She ordered loudly, her tone full of confidence.

At this moment, Ye Ling felt a slight vibration under her feet, as if something was activated.

Her heart moved and she looked at Duan Yu, "Do you feel it?"

Duan Yu nodded, a strange look flashing in his eyes, "It's a cultural relic..."

Ye Ling's fingers danced on the console, as if she was playing a passionate piece of music.
