Chapter 297 The Final Test: Ye Ling's Glory Reaches the Summit

Ye Ling's fingertips slid across the cold metal shell of the mecha, as if caressing a battle-hardened comrade.

She took a deep breath, her chest filled with the desire to fight, mixed with a hint of indescribable tension.

The surrounding equipment seemed to have sensed this atmosphere, and the low humming sound was like a war drum beating for her, or like a countdown urging her on.

The entire workshop was filled with a strong smell of gunpowder, which was the breath of an impending war.

"This final test is no joke," Bron muttered behind her, a hint of worry in his voice.

Orianna clenched her fists tightly, her eyes full of anticipation and encouragement.

Ye Ling did not look back. She wanted to face the challenge of fate without distraction, just like a true warrior.

Ye Ling slowly walked into the testing site, as if she had walked into another time and space.

The scene before my eyes changed instantly. The towering obstacles, the rapidly moving targets, and the occasional energy pulses all seemed like the numerous checkpoints set by fate.

She controlled the mecha, dodging obstacles flexibly, and every movement was carried by the force of wind and thunder.

"Oh my god, this difficulty level is too high! It's simply hell mode!" Braum couldn't help but exclaim, his palms sweating.

Orianna was so nervous that she held her breath, as if she was fighting with Ye Ling.

Ye Ling felt like she was playing a difficult level-breaking game. She had to be careful with every step, as the game would be over if she was not careful.

Energy pulses flashed past her like lightning, and she would be hit if she was not careful.

The alarms of the mecha sounded one after another, and the rapid frequency seemed to urge her to go faster and faster.

Her forehead was covered with beads of sweat, which flowed down her cheeks, across her chin, and dripped onto the ground.

Every dodge and every counterattack consumed a huge amount of her energy.

She felt like a spinning top, frantically testing the edge of her limit.

She was unwilling to give in, she refused to admit defeat, she wanted to break through the shackles of fate and become the strongest mecha warrior.

Suddenly, a huge ball of energy came towards her so fast that she could hardly react.

She instinctively controlled the mecha to dodge, but was still hit by the energy ball, and the mecha's shield dropped by more than half in an instant.

She felt her heart suddenly twitch, as if it was being gripped by an invisible hand, and even breathing became a little difficult.

"I can't stand this wave of damage!" Ye Ling gritted her teeth and forced herself to calm down.

At this moment, she saw Jinx controlling the mecha and approaching her with a sinister smile. Jinx's mecha was shining with a dazzling light, as if announcing that she was the protagonist of this test.

"Haha, Ye Ling, it seems that you are nothing special." Jinx's voice sounded in the communication channel, full of sarcasm.

Ye Ling did not respond. She wanted to use her strength to prove who is the final winner.

She gripped the joystick tightly, her eyes sharp as if she could see through everything.

Ye Ling controlled the mecha to accelerate suddenly and rushed towards Jinx like an arrow.

She knew that this was not just a test, but also a battle of dignity.

She wants to use her own strength to tell everyone that she, Ye Ling, is definitely not a waste!

Suddenly, there was a crisp "crack" sound from the mecha, like the sound of something breaking, harsh and disturbing.

Ye Ling was suddenly startled. She felt the violent vibration coming from inside the mecha, and an ominous premonition came to her heart.

She looked down and saw that the energy core of the mecha was emitting an unstable light, like a bomb that could explode at any time.

Ye Ling's mecha lost its balance in the violent vibration and fell heavily to the ground, stirring up a cloud of dust.

Ye Ling in the cockpit was also severely impacted. She felt dizzy and felt as if all her internal organs were displaced.

She struggled to stand up, but found her legs were stuck and she couldn't move.

Bright red blood flowed down her forehead, blurring her vision.

"Oh my god! Ye Ling!" Bron's voice came through the communication channel, full of anxiety and worry.

Orianna also exclaimed, her voice trembling, as if she would cry at any moment.

Ye Ling looked at the damaged mecha and felt despair in her heart.

She knew that the test had completely failed.

Not only did she fail to prove herself, but she also put herself in an even more dangerous situation.

She leaned weakly on the seat, letting the blood flow from the wound, as if it was going to drain away all her hope.

The atmosphere in the workshop was so oppressive that it was suffocating, as if even the air had frozen.

Braum and Orianna rushed into the testing ground regardless of the danger.

They came to Ye Ling's mecha and called her name anxiously.

"Ye Ling, how are you? Can you hear me?" Bron's voice trembled and was full of worry.

Ye Ling nodded weakly. She wanted to speak, but found that her throat was so dry that she couldn't make any sound.

"Don't be afraid, we are here!" Orianna's voice was also full of power, as if to dispel the despair in Ye Ling's heart.

They carefully opened the cockpit and helped Ye Ling out.

Ye Ling's face was pale, her lips were chapped, and her whole body was weak.

"This...what should I do..." Orianna's voice was filled with tears. She looked at the wounds on Ye Ling's body and felt heartbroken.

Just then, Bron pulled a small, gleaming bottle from his pocket, which contained a pale blue liquid.
