Karma's appearance was like an ice wall erected between her and Duan Yu, making the air cold and oppressive.
"I... I'm looking for the code to unlock the ruins." Ye Ling tried to remain calm, speaking in a neither humble nor arrogant tone.
She knew that Karma had always doubted her strength, especially when Duan Yu was injured. This doubt was more like a sword of Damocles hanging over her head.
"Unlock the ruins? Just you?" Karma smiled contemptuously, his eyes full of disdain.
"Don't forget your identity. A junior mecha warrior wants to get involved in this ancient secret?" The air around him seemed to solidify, suppressing Ye Ling so much that he could hardly breathe.
Ye Ling took a deep breath and suppressed the anger in her heart.
"You don't have the final say on my strength. Duan Yu is injured, and I must find a way to unlock the ruins and get him out of here as soon as possible." She paused, looking firmly at Karma, "If you want to stop me, then come on!"
Karma's expression changed slightly, as if he was shocked by Ye Ling's aura.
At this moment, Ye Ling caught a glimpse of a sneaky figure out of the corner of her eye—Evelyn!
The lingering woman actually took advantage of the gap in their conversation to sneak towards the area where the code puzzle was located!
Ye Ling's heart was filled with alarm, and a bad premonition came to her mind.
She suddenly turned her head to look at the password puzzle area, only to see Evelin holding a strange device in her hand, operating the password panel like a tiger.
"What are you doing?!" Ye Ling roared and rushed towards Evelin like an arrow.
A fire of rage burned in her chest. This woman actually dared to take advantage of someone's misfortune!
Evelin was startled by Ye Ling’s roar, but she quickly reacted, a sinister smile on her face.
"Of course I'll destroy it, you little loser. Do you think I'll let you crack the code so easily?"
Ye Ling was furious. She controlled the mecha and swung a punch straight at Evelin's face.
"You're looking for death!"
"Stop!" Karma shouted sternly when he saw this.
But before she could stop him, a dark shadow suddenly appeared between them...
Li Qing's flashing figure stood between Ye Ling and Evelynn, as fast as a shadow.
"Everyone, calm down! The cipher disk in this relic is very fragile. If you keep messing around like this, we're all doomed!" He snatched the device from Evelyn's hand and examined it carefully. "Luckily, fortunately, although this woman's brain isn't very good, she accidentally touched the right place."
Evelin stomped her feet in anger, "Li Qing, what do you mean! I..."
"Shut up!" Li Qing interrupted her without any hesitation. "The device you just activated happened to trigger the hidden mechanism of the cipher disk. If I hadn't stopped you in time, you would have destroyed the clue." He turned to look at Ye Ling.
Ye Ling immediately walked to the cipher disk and scanned the newly appeared patterns with sharp eyes.
These lines are complex and mysterious, like some ancient writing, emitting a faint fluorescence.
Her brain was working rapidly, analyzing the patterns in the lines, trying to find clues to decipher the code.
The originally tense atmosphere around was gradually replaced by hope.
"This pattern... is a bit like a star map." Ye Ling murmured to herself, "If I connect them..." Her fingers slid lightly across the code disk, outlining shining lines.
As the lines continued to extend, a complete star map gradually appeared before everyone.
"It's done!" Li Qing shouted excitedly, "This is the star map code leading to the core of the ruins!"
However, at this moment, a painful groan broke everyone's joy.
Duan Yu's face was pale, beads of sweat the size of beans appeared on his forehead, and his body was trembling slightly.
"The energy field of this relic...has an impact on my injuries..." His voice was weak and with a hint of pain.

This is simply hell-level difficulty!
Ye Ling thought to herself: Is this old lady playing a trick on me?
