Ye Ling's heart sank when she heard Modkaiser's sinister laughter and the powerful sense of oppression coming from deep in the cave.
This old guy is really not that easy to deal with!
Her eyes instantly became sharp, like a sword drawn from its sheath. Her previous passive defensive strategy was obviously not working.
"I can't go on like this!" Ye Ling whispered to herself in a firm tone, "It's time to take the initiative!"
She looked around. Although Camille appeared cold, there was a hint of worry in her eyes; although Trundle didn't say anything, his clenched fists said it all; even Iris, who had always been timid, raised her head slightly and looked at her with a hint of expectation.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Ye Ling raised a confident smile, as if saying: I'm going to be the Mecha King's woman!
"Ye Ling, be careful!" Although Camille's tone was still cold, there was a hint of concern in her words.
Ye Ling nodded, took a deep breath, and mobilized the energy of the mecha in his body to the extreme.
She knew that the next step would be the real tough battle.
Without any hesitation, Ye Ling flashed and rushed into the depths of the cave like an arrow.
The territory of this mysterious family is indeed not so easy to break into.
As soon as he entered, Ye Ling felt a cold breath coming towards him. It seemed that he stepped on some mechanism, and the ground made a "clicking" sound.
She quickly jumped up and rolled a few times to avoid the spikes that suddenly appeared on the ground. The spikes were flashing with a faint blue light and were obviously poisoned.
This family is so insidious! It's like an escape room!
Ye Ling moved forward cautiously, avoiding one trap after another.
The surrounding walls were covered with all kinds of strange runes, and the air was filled with a strange smell, making people feel uneasy.
Family guards patrolled from time to time. They wore black armor, held various weapons, and had eyes as sharp as eagles. Each of them exuded a strong sense of oppression.
These guys are all as energetic as if they had been injected with chicken blood!
While avoiding their sight, Ye Ling observed the terrain and looked for a breakthrough.
"Looks like we need to do something exciting." The corners of her mouth rose slightly, revealing a playful smile.
Suddenly, a dark shadow came from behind her, accompanied by the sound of whistling wind.
Ye Ling turned around suddenly, gathered a powerful energy in his hands, and struck back, colliding head-on with the black shadow.
With a loud "bang", energy scattered everywhere and Ye Ling was also shaken back a few steps.
She looked closely and saw a two-meter-tall man standing in front of her, waving a huge battle axe in his hand.
"Who are you? How dare you trespass into Lord Modkaiser's territory?" The burly man's voice was like a loud bell, making Ye Ling's eardrums hurt.
"Is there any need to ask? Of course they are here to tear down your nest!" Ye Ling said disdainfully.
"Looking for death!" The burly man roared, and swung the battle axe towards Ye Ling again with astonishing momentum.
Ye Ling dodged the attack skillfully with a flick of her body, and then...
"Hey! Your axe is pretty cool!" Ye Ling suddenly said, then turned his wrist and a ray of light flashed.
"Roar!" The strong man roared in pain...
Ye Ling flipped her wrist, and the energy from the core of the ancient mecha surged, forming an energy shield in front of her, barely blocking the attack of the battle axe.
"Hey! Your axe is pretty cool! Unfortunately, the way you wield it is not right!" Before Ye Ling finished speaking, her figure had already circled behind the burly man like a ghost and kicked him on the butt.
The strong man was caught off guard, and his huge body fell forward like a mountain, making a loud "bang" sound, and the ground shook three times.
"Oh my god, the quality of this floor is not good!" Ye Ling complained, and then ignored the strong man who was knocked down by her move, and continued to go deeper into the family.
She discovered that although the defense system of this mysterious family looked intimidating, it was actually full of loopholes.
Ye Ling easily avoided those mechanical traps by skillfully using the power of mecha and phantom beasts, and was even able to use the breath of phantom beasts to interfere with the guards' perception.
"These guys have bad noses!" Ye Ling said as she shuttled through the corridor like a ghost.
The guards around began to panic. They clearly sensed the presence of an intruder, but they couldn't find the target and were running around like a group of headless flies.
"Hey, you over there, you stepped on my foot!" Ye Ling suddenly appeared behind a guard and patted him on the shoulder.
The guard was startled and turned around suddenly, but saw only an empty corridor.
"What the hell! I clearly..." Before the guard could finish his words, he felt a sharp pain in the back of his head, his vision went black, and he fainted.
Ye Ling reappeared and dusted off her hands: "Done! Next!"
After going deeper into the family, Ye Ling discovered a wide square. In the center of the square, several people in gorgeous clothes were standing on full alert. They were obviously the masters of the family.
"Hey, everyone, are you guys teaming up to kill monsters?" Ye Ling walked out with his arms folded across his chest, looking relaxed.
"Who are you? How dare you trespass into our clan's forbidden area!" one of the masters shouted sternly.
"Stop talking nonsense, just fight if you want to, I'm in a hurry!" Ye Ling waved her hand impatiently.
As soon as she finished speaking, several figures attacked her at the same time, with swords flashing and energy fluctuations intertwined, and the entire square was shrouded in chaos.
"Just in time!" The buildings on Ye Ling Square began to collapse, rubble flew everywhere, and the scene was in a mess.
