Wen Ye just said he had a surprise for her, and then took Jiang Jiang around the school.
On the campus of A University, the autumn sun shone through the gaps between the sycamore leaves, casting a golden glow all over the ground. Wen Ye, holding Jiang Jiang's hand, walked through the shaded path covered with ginkgo leaves, their feet making a soft, crunching sound.
"This is the library." He pointed to a red brick building, his voice unusually cheerful. "I often read by the window on the top floor—because I can see the direction of the school gate."
He was particularly eager to talk today, and without Jiang Jiang's reply, he took her hand and introduced everyone to her.
It was rare to see him so energetic like a real college student. Jiang Jiang also smiled with his eyes curved: "Aye seems to like school very much."
