"Hehe, old man, you can have fun all you want!" Afu chuckled smugly, then turned and ran toward Professor Lin.
Meanwhile, Lu Zhaoming had successfully infiltrated the core area of the base.
"Holy crap, what is this thing?!" Lu Zhaoming couldn't help but exclaim in surprise as he looked at the huge experimental device in front of him.
This is a huge cylindrical device, more than ten meters high, made entirely of an unknown metallic material, radiating a cold luster.
At the center of the device, a huge energy core floats, emitting a bewitching red light, surrounded by countless cables and pipes that constantly hum.
"This...this is an ultimate experiment involving the extraction of life energy and the modification of superpowers!" Lu Zhaoming gasped, instantly understanding the white-robed man's conspiracy.
Just then, a notification suddenly popped up on the system interface:
"External interference signals were detected, possibly originating from the implanted device in the white coat."
"Warning! Warning! Target locked!"
Lu Zhaoming's expression changed as he realized that he had been exposed.
"Qinglian, quick, find the signal source and cut it off!" he shouted.
"Understood!" Qinglian replied and immediately began searching around.
Lu Zhaoming dared not delay and immediately began to study the experimental device in front of him, trying to find a way to shut it down.
"Time is running out, I must act quickly!" he thought to himself.
Just then, a series of hurried footsteps sounded, followed by a familiar voice in the air:
"Lu Zhaoming, you've finally come. Today is your death day!"
Lu Zhaoming looked up and saw Qing She leading a group of reinforcements, charging towards him menacingly.
"Hmph, you think you can take me on?!" Lu Zhaoming sneered.
With a thought, he immediately activated the traps within the base, luring Green Snake and her men into a trap area.
At the same time, another prompt popped up on the system interface:
"Judgment Storm III has been unlocked, allowing for the release of even more powerful amplification effects."
"Start now?"
"Start!" Lu Zhaoming chose to start without hesitation.
Instantly, a powerful energy erupted from his body, enveloping the entire base.
"Ah..." The green snake let out a miserable cry, forced back to the edge of the device by the powerful energy.
Just as Lu Zhaoming was about to destroy the core device, a sinister voice suddenly echoed throughout the base: "Lu Zhaoming, do you think you've won?" The white-robed man's eerie voice continued to reverberate throughout the base, like background music from a midnight horror movie, sending chills down one's spine.
Lu Zhaoming narrowed his eyes and spat, "Old man, playing tricks!" But his hands didn't slow down at all, heading straight for the huge energy core.
"Do you think this will stop me?" The voice in the white robe seemed to echo, elusive and unpredictable, leaving one completely bewildered.
Before the words were even finished, the entire base began to shake violently, as if a magnitude 10 earthquake had struck. The overhead cables rattled and fell down, and a pungent, acrid smell filled the air.
"What the hell is this?!" Qinglian's voice changed, trembling slightly, probably because she remembered the horror movies she watched as a child, and her face turned pale.
She gripped the pipe beside her tightly, trying to steady herself, but the unease in her voice was impossible to hide.
Lu Zhaoming was also so shocked that he staggered and almost fell.
He stared intently at the energy core before him, gritting his teeth: "Now is not the time to hesitate, we have to take a gamble!"
Having said that, he mobilized all his supernatural abilities and poured them into the Judgment Blade in his hand.
The blade instantly burst forth with a dazzling light, like a small sun illuminating the entire core area.
Lu Zhaoming took a deep breath and shouted, "Break!"

With a crisp sound, a tiny crack appeared on the energy core.

Lu Zhaoming gritted his teeth and tried his best to hold on, but his body began to tremble uncontrollably.
"Brother Zhaoming!" Qinglian exclaimed, wanting to rush over to help, but was blocked by an invisible force.
Lu Zhaoming struggled to lift his head and saw the white-robed figure slowly emerge from the darkness, his face showing a hint of smugness and madness.
"Lu Zhaoming, you're too naive. Do you really think you can stop me? This is true power, power that can overturn the entire world!" The white-robed voice was seductive, like the whisper of a demon.
"Pah!" Lu Zhaoming spat out a mouthful of blood, his eyes still resolute. "I... will never... admit defeat!"
"Is that so? Then let me see how long your will can last!" The white-robed man smiled sinisterly, slowly raising his hand and pointing at Lu Zhaoming.
"Boom..."
The shaking of the base intensified, with rocks falling from above and the entire space beginning to distort and deform.
Professor Lin shouted, "Oh no! The lab is going to collapse! Get out of here!"
