A series of deep, heavy footsteps approached from afar, as if some enormous creature was drawing near.
Xiao Cui turned pale with fright, clutching Lu Zhaoming's clothes tightly, trembling.
Su Li also gripped the throwing knife in her hand tightly, her eyes wary.
"What...what is this?" Su Li's voice trembled slightly.
Lu Zhaoming stared intently in the direction from which the sound came, his fists clenching tighter and tighter.

"It seems we're definitely going to get involved in this mess!" Lu Zhaoming suddenly pulled Su Li aside and whispered a few words in her ear.
