Lu Zhaoming took the hand-drawn map from Brother Mouse, glanced at it, and a barely perceptible sneer appeared on his lips.
This rat isn't entirely useless.
"Lead the way." Lu Zhaoming spoke sparingly, acting all high and mighty.
Brother Mouse bowed and scraped, trotting ahead as he led the way, looking just like a lapdog being led by its owner.
Su Li and Xiao Die followed closely behind, and the four of them, under the cover of night, made their way towards the laboratory.
I have to say, the map provided by this "Mouse Bro" is really useful.
Lu Zhaoming and his group evaded several patrol teams and arrived at the entrance of the laboratory without any major incidents.
"Master Lu, this is it! The entrance is right below here!" Brother Rat said excitedly, pointing to an inconspicuous manhole cover on the ground.
Lu Zhaoming squinted, carefully observing his surroundings.
This place is really well hidden.
If it weren't for Brother Mouse leading the way, he probably wouldn't have been able to find it.
"Go down." Lu Zhaoming waved his hand, signaling Brother Rat to open the manhole cover.
Brother Mouse didn't dare to delay and rushed forward, using all his strength to move the manhole cover.
A damp, musty smell wafted over, making one involuntarily frown.
Lu Zhaoming jumped first, followed closely by Su Li and Xiao Die.
Brother Mouse dawdled along at the very back, afraid that he might accidentally fall and land face-first in the mud.
After walking along the narrow passage for a long time, they finally arrived at the third basement level of the laboratory.
Security here is significantly stronger than on the floors above.
There were fully armed guards everywhere, patrolling back and forth; it was practically a sentry every three steps and a sentry every five steps.
"Wow, this setup is like a military base," Brother Mouse exclaimed in surprise.
Lu Zhaoming glared at him and said in a low voice, "All of you, watch your mouths and don't make a sound! Our target is the core database, don't cause any trouble!"
After saying that, he led the way towards the core computer room.
Along the way, they encountered several patrol teams of guards.
However, thanks to Lu Zhaoming's accurate judgment and command, they all managed to avoid danger without incident.
Finally, they arrived at the entrance of the core computer room.
There was a heavy metal door covered with various complex electronic locks.
"Master Lu, this lock looks tricky," Brother Rat said hesitantly, looking at the door.
Lu Zhaoming didn't speak, but silently observed the structure of the electronic lock.
Just as he was about to forcefully crack the system, Xiaodie suddenly walked up to him.
"I'll try," she said softly, her voice tinged with timidity.
Lu Zhaoming looked at her with some confusion.
He knew that Xiaodie possessed special abilities, but could these abilities really open this door?
Xiaodie stretched out her slender fingers and gently touched the lock panel.
The next second, a miracle happened.
The indicator lights on the lock panel began flashing wildly and emitting a piercing noise.
Immediately afterwards, with a "click," the electronic lock unlocked automatically!
"Wow, that's amazing!" Brother Mouse stared wide-eyed at Little Butterfly with disbelief.
Lu Zhaoming was also somewhat surprised, but he quickly regained his composure.
He gave Xiaodie an approving look and said, "Well done."
After saying that, he pushed open the door to the computer room without hesitation.
Inside the server room, rows of servers were neatly arranged, emitting a low hum.
Countless data points scrolled rapidly across the screen, dazzling the viewer.
Lu Zhaoming took a deep breath, walked to a server, and opened the system.
"Start parsing the data," he thought to himself.
As the system ran, countless data flooded into Lu Zhaoming's mind like a tidal wave.
He carefully sifted through the data, trying to find useful information.
Suddenly, a message caught his attention.
"The White Robe's ultimate plan: to create super soldiers and control the will of all survivors through genetic modification!"
Lu Zhaoming was startled.
He never imagined that this white-robed man would be so ruthless and want to control the entire wasteland world!
What shocked him even more was that the data showed that the White Robe had successfully developed the first batch of finished products and planned to deploy them in various parts of the wasteland.
"Holy crap, this old guy's up to no good!" Brother Mouse exclaimed as he saw the message on the screen.
Lu Zhaoming ignored him and continued reading.
He wanted to know how the White Robe created these super soldiers and how he planned to control the will of the survivors.
However, just as he was about to obtain the crucial information, the lights in the server room suddenly went out.
The entire server room was plunged into darkness in an instant.
Only the emergency lights were still flashing a faint light, which made people feel inexplicably uneasy.
"What happened?" Brother Mouse asked in alarm.
Lu Zhaoming narrowed his eyes and looked around. He knew that things were probably not that simple.
"Lu Zhaoming, you really didn't disappoint me."
Suddenly, a cold voice rang out in the server room.
Lu Zhaoming looked up abruptly and saw a familiar figure on the monitor screen.
It was indeed a white robe!
"However, do you really think this data is complete?" The white-robed man stared coldly at Lu Zhaoming, a strange smile playing on his lips.
As soon as he finished speaking, the entire computer room began to shake violently.
"Welcome to the real arena." The voice in the white robe rang out again, full of sarcasm and mockery.
