As night fell, a few remaining stars hung in the sky, seemingly lamenting the fate of this wasteland.

"Liu Yan's younger brother?" Lu Zhaoming's heart stirred. He remembered his old friend who had once fought alongside him but had turned against him because of the white-robed man's control.
Looking at the anxious-looking boy in front of him, a glimmer of hope rose in his heart.
Su Li, standing to the side, also looked at Xiao Hu with great interest. A playful smile appeared on her alluring face: "Oh, another handsome young man. It seems our Judge Lu's charm is as strong as ever!"
Xiao Die timidly hid behind Lu Zhaoming, her big eyes curiously watching Xiao Hu, seemingly curious about this suddenly appearing boy.

"How did you find the lab?" Lu Zhaoming decided to find out the situation first.
Xiao Hu explained, "I followed a convoy transporting supplies and discovered that they eventually entered a hidden entrance deep within the mine. It was heavily guarded and extremely secure; it must be the White Robe's secret laboratory!"
Lu Zhaoming nodded, secretly approving.
This kid has quite a talent for reconnaissance!
It seems Liu Yan has good genes; at least she gave birth to such a clever younger brother.
“Well done, but we must proceed with caution,” Lu Zhaoming warned. “The laboratory in the white coat is definitely full of traps and mechanisms. If we are not careful, we will be doomed.”
Liu Yan strongly objected: "No! This is too dangerous. I can't let you take the risk. You have no idea how terrifying the White Robe is; his methods are simply unbelievable!"
Xiao Hu retorted defiantly, "Brother, you always protect me like this, but I've grown up! I'm not that little kid who just hides behind you anymore! I'm capable of protecting myself, and I'm capable of helping you!"
The brothers' argument escalated, and the atmosphere became tense.
Seeing that a full-blown fight was about to break out, Lu Zhaoming had no choice but to step in and stop it.
"Alright, stop arguing!" Lu Zhaoming raised his voice, trying to quell their quarrel. "Now is not the time to argue! If we don't go, the White Robe's plan will only go more smoothly. In that case, the entire wasteland will be plunged into chaos."
