But he knew that the appearance of the grass was definitely not accidental.
He looked at Red Wolf, who was also looking at him with a vicious gaze and a strange smile on his lips.

Seeing Red Wolf's smile made Lu Zhaoming uneasy; he had a feeling that something big was about to happen.
Before he could think about it, the long-lost system notification sound rang in his mind.
"Ding! System repair complete. The new feature [Time Delay] has been unlocked."
Lu Zhaoming raised an eyebrow; this name sounded exciting!
Before he could even investigate, he saw Red Wolf struggle to get up from the ground and stare at him with the look of someone looking at a dead man.
"Lu Zhaoming, do you think you've won? You're too naive! The will of the white-robed one is invincible!" After saying this, Red Wolf suddenly threw his head back and laughed wildly. The laughter was so shrill that it sent chills down one's spine. Then, he pulled out a syringe and plunged it into his own neck.
"Holy crap, are they serious?" Lu Zhaoming cursed under his breath, about to stop them, but it was too late.
Red Wolf's body began to swell rapidly, his muscles bulging and his veins popping out, turning him into a monster in an instant, like an inflated toad.
"Is this some kind of Resident Evil scene?" Su Li exclaimed, her face turning pale.
"Back off!" Lu Zhaoming roared, grabbing Su Li and activating [Time Delay] at the same time.
Everything around seemed to slow down, and Red Wolf's movements appeared incredibly sluggish in Lu Zhaoming's eyes.
He could clearly see the red wolf's body gradually transforming into a terrifying monster three meters tall, covered in barbs.
"Is this the White Robe's trump card? How disgusting." Lu Zhaoming sneered and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
The bullet struck Red Wolf precisely in the head, but only left a faint white mark on his tough skin.
"Roar!" The red wolf let out a deafening roar, and its huge hand slammed down towards Lu Zhaoming.
Lu Zhaoming quickly dodged, but was still hit by the palm strike. He flew out like a kite with a broken string and crashed heavily into the wall.
"Pfft!" Lu Zhaoming spat out a mouthful of blood, feeling as if his internal organs were about to shatter.
"Warning! The host has exceeded the limits of higher privileges, the consequences are unknown." The system notification sounded again, but Lu Zhaoming couldn't care less about that now.
He struggled to his feet, looking at the red wolf, which had become completely monstrous.
"Let's give it our all!"
"Brother Lu!" Su Li exclaimed, wanting to rush over to help, but Lu Zhaoming stopped her.
"Take care of yourself!" Lu Zhaoming said, then leaped towards the red wolf.
Behind them, the flames of the purification tower burned ever brighter, illuminating half the sky.
Lu Zhaoming gazed at the towering flames, yet his heart remained remarkably calm.
"Perhaps it's time to go..."
