Chapter 5 Plan

Gao Fei... Where did such a cool girl come from? Xiao Yi, with a stiff smile, quickly drove behind the girl, stuck his head out and shouted, "Beauty, where are you going? Hey... Beauty... Don't go? Hey... Hey... What's your name?...?"

Qin Qing didn't give Xiao Yi a chance and turned directly into the alley beside the school. She didn't have the time to chat with a playboy. No matter how good Xiao Yi's car was, it was useless. The alley was so narrow that there was only enough space for two people to walk.

At the end of the alley was a bus stop, and a bus had just pulled over. Qin Qing hurried forward and asked, "Driver, are we at the farmers' market?" The chubby bus driver nodded and replied kindly, "Yes, it's five stops away."

Qin Qing listened and hurriedly got in the car. He took out two coins from his pocket and put them in. When the driver saw Qin Qing was seated, he closed the door and drove away! Neither he nor Qin Qing saw Xiao Yi chasing out of the alley. He only saw the handsome back of the car and the exhaust fumes.

After arriving at the farmers' market, Qin Qing wandered around, buying a ton of rice, soybeans, vegetable seeds, and other things. The bags were small and took up very little space, and before she knew it, her backpack was full. She was now carrying two large plastic bags in each hand.

Then she went into the women's restroom in the market and transferred everything in her hands and backpack into the space before continuing her shopping. She watched the vegetable vendors packing potatoes, pumpkins, and other long-lasting fruits in sacks and piling them into piles. She thought, in her own small space, she could do the same.

In the apocalypse, no one cared about the taste of condiments; anything to eat was good enough, so she wasn't in a hurry to buy them. Qin Qing bargained with the vegetable vendors, looking like she was doing business. After a while, the vendors pulled over on a tricycle and loaded the sacks of potatoes and pumpkins onto the cart.

At this time, Qin Qing remembered that he couldn't put these things into the space in front of everyone after buying them. He was too anxious. He should rent an empty room near the vegetable market first, move the things to that room, and then put them into the space.

However, since she had come this far, she couldn't leave empty-handed. She said to the vegetable shop owner, "Uncle, I bought some rice and flour outside. Could you please pull them to the roadside first and then help me transport the rice and flour over here?"

"Is it Lao Chen's Grain and Oil Shop? Sure! I'm very familiar with the owner. Where do you want it delivered to, little girl? Lead the way, and I'll take these vegetables there first, and then I'll help you get the rice over." The vegetable vendor was quite welcoming. Once he learned it was the grain and oil shop in the shop outside the market, he immediately agreed to deliver it for free. Everyone in the market came and went, and everyone knew each other. So, sometimes helping each other out by sharing things was normal.

Qin Qing was overjoyed when she heard this. When she was shopping in the market before, there was a very remote corner on the road with no surveillance and few people passing by. She could ask them to transport the things there, and she would take the opportunity to put them into the space without anyone noticing!

Half a day passed, and in her space, except for the well in the middle, the surrounding areas were filled with various supplies. Qin Qing scanned the space with her consciousness and felt a deep sense of sadness. For someone who had lived in the apocalypse, these supplies were too few!

Not enough... not enough... if only there was space for more things!

However, the vegetable vendor was quite welcoming. Knowing she wanted to rent a place, he suggested an abandoned factory building not far from the city, just over ten miles from his vegetable greenhouse. Because it was cheap, Qin Qing paid three months' rent directly. She then arranged with the vegetable vendor to deliver a truckload of long-lasting vegetables and rice every day, with weekly payments.

She didn't want to go back to school. After the apocalypse, diplomas and academic qualifications would be worthless. On the other hand, if she dropped out now, she might even get a refund for her tuition. Qin Qing's calculations clicked. The abandoned factory building was quite large, probably over a thousand square meters, and it already had a room partitioned off for the gatekeeper. Perfect for her!

Qin Qing tidied up the factory a bit, got some sandbags and old tires, and every day she would either run with the tire tied around her waist or punch the sandbags, practicing her physical skills. Then, every night, she would collect vegetables and grain from the vendors. Although it was a little more expensive than getting them herself, it saved her a lot of time for exercise.

The vegetable vendor was making money, so he didn't care about anything else. Although he was a little curious about why Qin Qing was staying in the factory all day long when they had agreed to do business, Qin Qing explained that her partners would move all the goods away every once in a while, and she was just here to watch over them. The vegetable vendor didn't think much about it, as Qin Qing's money would arrive in his account on time every week.

Qin Qing drank the water from the space every day and would exercise as soon as she woke up, kicking her feet and hitting the sandbag non-stop. Her originally slender arms gradually gained firmness, a mermaid line appeared on her waist, and her fair skin turned a healthy tan.

She used to be breathless running with just one old tire tied to her waist, but now she could run uphill with three tires strapped to her waist without a hitch. She even bought dozens of machetes and practiced wielding them, slashing horizontally and vertically. The zombies' weak spot was in the central nervous system at the back of their necks; all she had to do was chop off their heads, and she'd be done!

Over a month had passed, and because Qin Qing had only taken a few of her clothes and important belongings from the dormitory, leaving everything else behind, no one knew she had quietly dropped out of school. Fang Fang was so immersed in Zhao Chunze's gentleness and thoughtfulness that she didn't think of anything else.

Back in City B, someone placed a bill for Qin Qing's monthly expenses, along with her application for withdrawal, on a desk. The person sitting there glanced at the bill, surprised. He'd assumed that family would always be resolute, but after so long, so long he'd almost forgotten them, they'd reappear.

It's just that the boss doesn't know if he still wants to know about this matter. After all, so much time has passed, and the boss hasn't asked about Qin Qing in a long time! The man with gold-rimmed glasses touched his chin. No matter what, since there was something going on, it was always right for him to report it. He sorted through the documents in his hands, put Qin Qing's report at the bottom, and took it into the boss's office.

"Boss, about City S..."

Before he could finish his words, he heard a faint voice from his boss.

"Don't bother with that family anymore!"

The man with gold-rimmed glasses was stunned for a moment, hesitated for a moment, and asked tentatively: "Then...are you going to remit the money?"

The boss's hands kept moving, his eyes carefully examining the flipping contract as he said, "Just wire one million and give me the Venus Mining plan!"
