Chapter 670: Necklace
North-central Farajo, Floz.
At noon, in the central area of Farajo's capital, Farajo's National Museum is located here. Among the exquisite Farajo buildings, it is majestic and magnificent, with extraordinary style, and has countless exquisite sculptures. It is also known as the Palace of the Supreme Lord. It used to be the palace of the king in the city during the Farajo dynasty. It was mainly used to issue decrees, handle affairs and hold various conferences. If the Somei Palace is the king's home and courtyard, then this is where the king works.
After the Frost Moon Revolution, this place became the National Museum of Farajo, which preserves a large number of cultural relics and archives from various historical periods of Farajo, which are not secret or slightly secret. Some are from Farajo and some are collected from the colonies by various means. Almost all of the archives that Samson gave to Dorothy and others were provided by here.
Now, at Adele's request, Samson's men led her secretly to the museum. In a small window room here, Adele, dressed casually and brightly, was sitting in front of an ordinary desk, crossing her legs and reading a magazine while waiting for something leisurely.
"Miss, here is what you want."
At this time, a man in a black suit walked into the room. After walking to Adele's desk, he placed a wooden box in front of her. The lid of the box had many labels on it and was covered with a layer of fine dust that had not been cleaned off. It seemed that it had been placed in a corner for who knows how many years.
"According to the files you pointed out, the items inside should be the corresponding cultural relics. They were obtained from Northern Ukraine in the late Persian period and have been successfully preserved to this day."
After placing the box in front of Adele, the man in black began to explain, and Adele took a look at the box in front of her and smiled as the man in black nodded and spoke.
"Thank you. Can I take a look inside now?"
"No problem, we've unlocked it for you." The man in black simply responded to Adele's question. Adele immediately put down the magazine in her hand and shifted her attention to the wooden box in front of her. After carefully looking at it twice, she opened the unlocked wooden box.
After Adele opened the lid of the box, a circle of anti-fall paper filling appeared inside. After Adele slowly pushed aside the filling, another paper bag appeared inside. After Adele picked up the paper bag, she could feel some sharp-edged objects wrapped inside.
"It doesn't feel right... According to the records in the file, this artifact should be a lot larger." Dorothy said so through the information channel as she looked at the paper package in front of Adele from her perspective, and Adele asked the same question in her heart.
"Is there something wrong with this thing? Is it okay to open it directly?"
"Wait for this one for a moment."
Dorothy said this, and then controlled a small insect that she had prepared in advance to crawl out from Adele's sleeve, crawl along her hand to the paper bag, and drill into it through the gap, and drill into the paper bag. Not long after, Adele heard Dorothy's slightly solemn words.
"Open it."
Listening to Dorothy's words, Adele began to open the paper bag in her hand, gradually revealing the contents. The black box was a gold product with distinct edges and corners, engraved with various complex patterns. It was a triangle as a whole, with an open eye engraved on one of the faces. The four corners of the triangle were missing, leaving only a delicately structured groove.
As soon as she saw this object, Dorothy immediately recognized it as the one she had seen in the cultural relic archives before, the golden main part of the 'groove-inlaid crystal and gold-carved triangular pyramid' cultural relic. It looked almost exactly the same as the one drawn in the archive sketch, but it was missing the four crystals inlaid on it.
"That's it...but the crystal on it is gone. Keep looking inside the box." Dorothy said this to Adele through the information channel, and Adele immediately did as she was told and carefully checked the box full of fillers. However, after searching for a long time, she did not see any crystal, so she looked up at the man in black who was still standing not far away, and asked in silence.
"Is that all? Did you take the right ones?"
"That's right, collection No. B0047, a triangular pyramid with grooved crystal carvings. This is it. We didn't take the wrong one." The man in black looked at Adele seriously and answered, while Dell continued to speak.
"There is gold and grooves here, but where is the crystal? Can you explain where the crystal is? Is it classified separately in another collection box?" Adele asked the man in black. The man in black was silent for a while after listening to Adele's words. Just as he seemed to be thinking about how to respond to Adele, a familiar voice sounded in the room.
"It is not classified separately. The one in your hand is the entire collection."
Hearing the voice, Adele was slightly startled, then turned her head and looked in the direction where the voice came from. Then she saw a slightly fat middle-aged man wearing a windbreaker, leaning on a cane, wearing a short hat, and holding a cigar in his mouth. Standing there, it was Samson, the fourth officer of Farajo.
Seeing Samson enter, the people in black in the room immediately bowed respectfully. Samson waved his hand slightly after seeing them, and then signaled his subordinates with his eyes. After receiving the signal, his subordinates also walked out of the room one after another, and finally closed the door, leaving only Adele and Samson.
After sending his subordinates away, Samson walked slowly to Adele's side and sat at another table opposite hers. Looking at Samson who sat down in front of her, Adele spoke softly.
