Guanyin Bodhisattva was hiding somewhere, waiting anxiously. She had been secretly following Sun Wukong. When she was about to reach Aolai Kingdom, she saw a thick fog suddenly rising around Sun Wukong, and then the demon monkey disappeared.
Not knowing what had happened, she instantly guessed that Sun Wukong was most likely taken away by some powerful being, otherwise, it would be impossible for Sun Wukong, a mere Taiyi Golden Immortal, to disappear right under her nose.

When Sun Wukong heard that Guanyin Bodhisattva had appeared, he was suddenly shocked. It was not the Dragon King of the East China Sea as he thought, but a woman in white. What was going on?
"Amitabha, I am Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva from the Western Paradise, sitting under the seat of Buddha Tathagata." Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva sang a Buddhist name and said with a smile.
"Bodhisattva under the seat of the Western Tathagata, why are you following me, Old Sun?"
Sun Wukong grew up in Huaguo Mountain and knew nothing about the outside world. He had no idea what Buddhism was or who Tathagata Buddha was, and naturally had never heard of the name of Guanyin Bodhisattva.
"Monkey, where did you go just now? Who did you meet? Could you tell me about it?"
The most important purpose of Guanyin Bodhisattva this time is to find out the person behind Sun Wukong, so she does not beat around the bush and goes straight to the point, ready to get the information she wants from Sun Wukong.
