"A Soul Master?"
Upon hearing this, Flander suddenly raised his voice, even changing his tone slightly.
"Xiaogang! Are you crazy?!"
"Plundering a Soul Master's Soul Power?!"
"Isn't that...isn't that just murder and soul-stealing?!"
After Fran finished speaking, his chest heaved violently, clearly shocked by Yu Xiaogang's groundbreaking idea.
Yu Xiaogang slowly turned around, his back to the emotionally agitated Flander.
"Flander, what is the motto of Shrek Academy?"
"We only accept monsters, not ordinary people."
"The talent of a mistress is one in a million."
"Since his Blue Silver Grass has such characteristics, if we don't help him explore and find the fastest way to become stronger, who will?"
He paused, then said in a somewhat somber tone.
"Moreover, in this world, has there ever been anything that is absolutely right or wrong?"
In Yu Xiaogang's mind, some blurry fragments flashed uncontrollably.
I was once full of vigor, but I suffered ridicule and exclusion because of the mutation of my martial soul.
Those contemptuous, pitying, and gloating faces wove together an invisible net that once suffocated him.
How much did he sacrifice and lose in order to prove himself and for those so-called theories?
Without power, who can he protect?!
"In order to become stronger, and to protect the people you want to protect, sometimes, certain necessary measures are unavoidable."
Yu Xiaogang continued.
These words seemed to be spoken to himself, but also to Tang San.
Tang San listened in silence the whole time.
After a moment, he finally spoke.
"The teacher is right."
His voice was as calm as Yu Xiaogang's.
"There is no absolute good or evil in this world."
"People can have their own beliefs, but everyone is different. If someone believes in the law of the jungle and survival of the fittest, but you don't have the strength, how can you reason with them?"
In this life, free from the constraints of the Tang Clan, he only wants to become stronger, strong enough to control his own destiny and protect everything he cherishes.
He looked at Yu Xiaogang, a resolute glint in his eyes.
"I agree with the teacher's suggestion."
"but……"
Tang San paused for a moment.
"I need a mask."
Clearly, he didn't want to expose himself through this method.
Flander looked at the master and apprentice in front of him; one was frighteningly calm, and the other readily agreed.
He opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but found his throat was a little dry.
Yu Xiaogang's words are not entirely without merit.
Shrek Academy's philosophy is to cultivate monsters.
Tang San, without a doubt, was the only monster he had ever seen!
However, this method...
He was torn between his inner thoughts and his own conscience.
After a long silence, Flanders sighed heavily.
"That's enough, that's enough!"
"You two, master and disciple, are both like complete lunatics!"
A wry smile appeared on his face.
"Since you've already made your decision, there's no point in me saying anything more."
"There are suitable places to test subjects."
Flanders rubbed his temples, seemingly organizing his thoughts.
"Within Heaven Dou City, whether it is the official Great Soul Arena or those filthy underground Soul Arenas, there are many desperate criminals."
“In those places, signing death warrants is commonplace, and people die on stage every day.”
“If you do it there, no one will investigate, and no one will care about the life or death of a loser.”
A glint of light flashed in Yu Xiaogang's eyes.
"good."
"Let's not delay, let's go now."
“Flander, you know Sky Fighter City better than we do.”
"Lead the way."
He took the first step and walked towards the door.
Flander watched Yu Xiaogang's resolute back, then looked at Tang San, whose face was expressionless but whose eyes were unusually bright, shook his head again, and followed him.
Not long after, in a secluded corner of Tiandou City, beneath an inconspicuous building.
This place is completely different from the glamorous scene on the ground.
The air was thick with the stench of sweat and blood, and an almost frenzied excitement.
The dim light flickered, barely illuminating a rugged stone fighting platform in the center.
Below the stage, a sea of people thronged, shouts, curses, and betting sounds rose and fell, creating a cacophony that nearly overturned the underground space.
When Tang San emerged from the shadows of the entrance, he was already wearing a large black cloak that completely enveloped his figure.
On his face, he wore a hideous mask that he had obtained from Flanders.
The mask covered most of his face, revealing only a pair of cold eyes.
Flander and Yu Xiaogang were standing at the edge of a relatively quiet audience seat not far from the Soul Battle Arena.
Flander lowered his voice and gave Tang San, who was about to go on stage, some instructions.
"Hey mistress, look carefully, this isn't a place for friendly sparring."
"Those guys on stage have all killed people on their hands, and they're incredibly ruthless. They'll use any means necessary to win."
"No one cares whether they live or die, and you don't need to have any reservations."
Yu Xiaogang simply said one sentence.
"be safe."
He believed in Tang San's judgment and strength.
Tang San nodded without saying a word.
He strode towards the Soul Arena.
A manager in charge of registration glanced at Tang San's attire.
"Code name?"
"Thousand-Handed Asura".
