"Ya Jiu".
Ning Liu's tone softened somewhat. "Your martial spirit is special, and you're quite meticulous. From today onwards, you'll be in charge of coordinating and distributing supplies within the city."
"The first thing is to do a census and find out the number of people still alive in the city, men, women, young and old. I need to know exactly how many mouths I have to feed."
Ya Jiu raised his head, a look of disbelief flashing in his eyes.
She had spent her entire life surrounded by corpses and darkness; she never imagined she would one day be doing this kind of "housekeeper" work. She nodded vigorously, her voice trembling slightly:
"Yes, sir."
Then, Ning Liu looked at a tall, thin man with a gleaming eye and a rather clever appearance.
"You're in charge of the arena. Produce me a plan outlining how the points system works, and how victory and defeat are rewarded and punished. I want to see it by tomorrow."
"And you, are you familiar with architecture? If not, that's okay, find someone who is. This dilapidated city needs repair, give me a plan."
"You go to the mining area, investigate the reserves, and demarcate the safety zone and the work zone..."
Ning Liu issued his orders swiftly and decisively, without lengthy explanations, focusing only on the most direct goals and requirements.
He didn't even ask them if they knew how, he only asked them if they would do it.
The eight people went from initial trepidation to shock, and finally, their faces were filled with excitement and high morale.
They were all people who lived on the edge of a knife, and their bones were filled with a spirit of adventure and a thirst for power.
"Did you all understand?"
Ning Liu asked finally.
"Understood!"
The eight people responded in unison, their voices so loud that they made the hall resonate.
"Then let's do it."
Ning Liu waved his hand. "Remember, I only care about results. Whoever does the best job will get more. Anyone who dares to disobey or bring their old bad habits into their work..."
He didn't finish his sentence, but all eight of them shivered as they remembered the unfortunate fellow who had been frozen solid.
"Go."
The eight men, as if granted a pardon or generals receiving an imperial decree, stood tall and proud, full of unprecedented vigor, and quickly left the hall.
In the blink of an eye, only Ning Liu and Bibi Dong's group remained in the empty hall.
Bibi Dong looked at Ning Liu on the throne with a complicated expression.
Destruction and conquest are neither difficult.
The difficulty lies in building a new life from the ruins.
The man before them had, in less than an hour, laid the framework for a new order for this city of sin that had been in chaos for a century.
Such skill and such boldness are simply unheard of.
Ning Liu stood up from the throne, slowly walked down the steps, and came to Bibi Dong with a playful smile on his face.
"Your Holiness, after watching this grand spectacle for so long, what are your thoughts?"
Bibi Dong met his gaze, remained silent for a moment, and then slowly spoke.
"Lord Ning, what a grand gesture!"
