Chapter 435 Lord Ning, what a grand gesture!

Ning Liu's figure disappeared into the darkness of the backstage entrance, and the entire Hell Slaughter Arena instantly erupted in chaos.

The boisterous chatter nearly lifted the ancient building off the ground.

A new path? A way to survive?

"Gladiator...miner...manager...what the hell is all this stuff?"

"You can get something without dying? Really? A magical herb? A soul tool?"

Doubt, excitement, greed, confusion—countless emotions intertwined in the eyes of the fallen.

They were used to solving problems with the most direct violence. The blueprint drawn up by Ning Liu was too complicated and too beautiful for them, so beautiful that it seemed like a clumsy lie.

Yet the still-warm corpse on the high platform silently testified to the weight of Ning Liu's words.

Lies need to be exposed with strength.

But now, who has that capability?

Amidst the clamor of the crowd, a hunched figure moved.

The woman, whose martial spirit was "Corpse Eater Crow," adjusted her hood and, without hesitation, pushed through the crowd towards the backstage entrance.

Her steps were slow, but exceptionally firm, each step as if bidding farewell to her past self who had been surrounded by rotting corpses.

Once someone takes the lead, others will immediately follow suit.

A burly man with three claw marks on his face and a fierce look spat out a mouthful of bloody saliva, grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth:

"I've killed my way through thirty-five battles in this godforsaken place, I'm already tired of it! Being an official for fun doesn't seem so bad!"

He laughed loudly and strode after him.

Then, the third, the fourth...

Some people's eyes gleam with a thirst for power, while others are simply tired of killing and want a different way of life.

But whatever their purpose, they all made the same choice—to walk into that unknown darkness and grasp at that straw called "hope".

...

The mansion of the King of Slaughter is built on the highest point of the city, both eerie and luxurious.

The walls were inlaid with the skulls of unknown beasts, and a scarlet carpet stretched from the entrance to the end of the hall, like a solidified river of blood.

At this moment, Ning Liu sat imposingly on the throne, a throne made of massive skeletons and belonging to the King of Slaughter. He rested his chin on one hand, looking down at the scene below.

Inside the main hall, besides Bibi Dong and her group standing to one side, there were eight Fallen Ones.

They were the first group to arrive.

Leading them were the burly man with claw marks and the woman who ate corpse crows.

Behind them stood six other people, each with a different appearance, but without exception, their eyes held an unusual shrewdness and ruthlessness.

None of those who survived in the killing city and dared to stand up immediately were truly fools.

They stood in the empty hall, looking at the excessively young man on the throne, their hearts filled with unease, as if awaiting judgment from fate.

“Very good.” Ning Liu finally spoke, breaking the silence.

“You are the first group to arrive, which proves that you are smarter and bolder than those guys outside who are still hesitating.”

Upon hearing this, the burly man with the claw marks grinned, about to say something polite, but was interrupted by Ning Liu raising his hand.

"I know what you're thinking."

Ning Liu's gaze swept across the faces of the eight people one by one.

"You want to know if the promises I make are true. You want to know what makes me convincing."

His words struck a chord with everyone present. All eight of them involuntarily tightened their breathing.

"It's very simple."

Ning Liu shifted to a more comfortable position, leaning back in his chair. "Because of this city, from today onwards, I'm in charge. And because of what you want, I can give you what you need."

He paused, then uttered a name that would shake the entire continent.

"I am the Sect Master of the Glazed Heaven Sect."

Crystal Sky!

Upon hearing these three words, the eight fallen ones remained completely bewildered. They had been trapped here for too long and had long been disconnected from the outside world, so they had no idea what these three words meant.

Ning Liu took in everyone's reactions and understood, but he didn't explain. Instead, he continued speaking to the eight fallen ones:

"You don't need to know what the Glazed Heaven is. You just need to know that I can provide everything you need, from food and water to soul tools, pills, and even the soul bones you dream of, as long as you can do things for me and achieve results."

"What I need is a brand new, free city that is completely under my control."

His voice carried an undeniable authority.

"Now, I'm giving you your first job."

Ning Liu's gaze fell on the burly man with claw marks on his face:

"May I have your name?"

The burly man was taken aback, then quickly bowed and said, "Sir, my name is Hu Tu."

"Alright, Butcher Hu."

Ning Liu nodded.

"From this moment forward, you are the first captain of the Freedom City Enforcement Team."

"Your mission is to lead your men to inscribe the ironclad rule against private fights in every corner of the city and tell everyone about it."

"Anyone who disagrees or refuses to listen will be arrested and thrown into the mine. Anyone who dares to resist will be killed on the spot."

Hu Tu's eyes lit up instantly, sparkling with excitement.

Enforcement team! Isn't this exactly what he excels at? He pounded his chest and shouted, "Yes, sir! I guarantee I'll handle it perfectly!"

Ning Liu's gaze then turned to the woman who ate the corpse crow.

The woman immediately removed her hood, revealing a pale but delicate face, though she looked somewhat timid: "My lord... my name is Ya Jiu."
