Tian Dou City, Prince Xue Xing's Mansion.
On the spacious training ground, two figures were engaged in a fierce battle.
One of them was burly and possessed immense spiritual power, but he was clearly suppressing a large portion of it.
It was Xue Xing, a prince of the Heavenly Dou Empire.
His opponent was a blond, handsome young man, none other than the "resurrected" Crown Prince, Xue Qinghe.
"Bang!"
Prince Xuexing struck out with a palm, the wind from which was fierce, but it suddenly stopped half a foot away from Xue Qinghe's chest.
Xue Qinghe was panting heavily, and his face was somewhat pale.
Xuexing withdrew her hand, frowned, and reprimanded her without any politeness:
"Qinghe, this won't do!"
"His soul power has improved a lot, but his combat skills are absolutely terrible!"
He reached out and poked Xue Qinghe's shoulder.
"I've already suppressed my soul power to be the same as yours, and you're still fighting like this. You're no different from a novice soul master!"
"If I had really struck you with that palm strike just now, you would be lying on the ground right now! Where was your reaction? Where was your dodge? Where did they go?"
"Also, the timing of your soul skill release is terrible!"
"The Swan Martial Soul may not be that strong in combat, but its agility is excellent. Why are you just standing there and making yourself a target?"
"In the first few moves, when I circled behind you, it took you ages to react. On the battlefield, you've already died eight times over!"
Xue Qinghe, with a pained expression, wiped the sweat from his brow and humbly accepted the criticism:
“My uncle is right, I really… have never practiced these things.”
He wasn't making excuses. In the past, he hadn't paid much attention to his combat skills, and his combat experience was completely nonexistent.
"Let alone fighting, I never even got a chance to make a move when hunting for spirit rings before."
Xue Qinghe helplessly shrugged.
"Hmph, the past is the past, the present is the present!"
Prince Xuexing's eyes widened, then he chuckled and patted his muscular chest.
"But that's alright, I have plenty of ways to train you! I guarantee you'll be completely transformed in less than six months!"
Seeing Prince Xuexing's malicious smile, Xue Qinghe's face instantly fell, as if he had already foreseen his future miserable life of darkness.
Just as he was about to beg for mercy, a sharp sound of air being torn apart suddenly came from above the training ground!
A streak of dark green light, like a meteorite, tore through the air and fell straight towards the Prince's Mansion!
The immense and domineering pressure of soul power instantly enveloped the entire mansion.
"Who goes there?!"
Prince Xuexing's expression changed, and he immediately shielded Xue Qinghe behind him, his soul power surging as he warily looked towards the sky.
Xue Qinghe's reaction was even more exaggerated. He almost instinctively screamed, and like a frightened rabbit, he hid tightly behind Xue Xing's broad back, only peeking out half of his head, looking in terror at the approaching green light.
"Whoosh!"
The green light landed, stirring up a cloud of dust, and then the light dissipated, revealing a tall, slender figure.
The newcomer had long, dark green hair and a cold, stern face; he was none other than Poison Douluo Dugu Bo.
Xuexing looked closely, her tense nerves immediately relaxed, and a smile appeared on her face.
He patted Xue Qinghe, who was still trembling behind him, and comforted him:
"Qinghe, don't be afraid, don't be afraid. This is one of our own, an old friend of our Heavenly Dou Royal Family, His Majesty the Poison Douluo."
He turned to look at Dugu Bo and greeted him warmly:
"Your Excellency Poison Douluo, where have you come from? What caused such a commotion?"
As soon as Dugu Bo landed, his gaze immediately locked onto Xue Qinghe behind Xue Xing, and his brows furrowed tightly.
"Huh? Who's this kid?"
He pointed at Xue Qinghe with some doubt.
"He looks exactly like the Crown Prince, but his aura... it feels different from before. He's so frail and timid, like a mouse."
Although the former "Xue Qinghe" did not show much strength, her composure seemed to be in her bones, which was definitely not the frightened little wife she was now.
Upon hearing this, Xue Xing gave a wry smile and sighed.
"Well, it's a long story. He really is Qinghe, but... something unexpected happened."
The story of the prince being replaced by a cat was too astonishing, so he simply glossed over it.
"Let's not talk about this anymore."
Xuexing waved her hand, changing the subject.
"Your Majesty, Poison Douluo, why did you rush back so urgently? Is there something important?"
Dugu Bo nodded, his expression turning serious:
“It is indeed important. Xuexing, you should know that I am now working in Liuli Heaven as an elder.”
"Liuli Heaven?"
Xuexing's eyes lit up instantly.
Of course he knew about Liuli Heaven! Who on the entire continent didn't know about this newly emerging top sect?
Especially the sect leader Ning Liu, who was too young, rose like a comet, shining brightly and unmatched by anyone.
Xuexing exclaimed in surprise:
"Are you here on behalf of Sect Master Ning?"
He rubbed his hands together, his face beaming with a warm smile.
"Your Excellency Poison Douluo, to be honest, I have long wanted to establish a connection with Liuli Tian and Sect Master Ning."
"I saw Sect Master Ning once before, at the All-Continent Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament. His demeanor was... wow..."
"My elder brother also gave me a task, asking me to find a way to befriend Sect Leader Ning."
"It's a pity that they're not very friendly towards me. I want to befriend them, but I don't know how."
He leaned forward, grabbed Dugu Bo's arm, and whispered:
