The sudden sound of the door opening made Hua Xiao, who was still shaken, shudder violently again. Her face turned pale and her eyes widened in terror as she immediately looked toward the source of the sound, her mind blank before she could even react.
Hua Xiao looked up and was caught off guard when she met Zhuang You's deep brown eyes, and she trembled again.
Their eyes met, and the thin girl snapped back to reality.
Zhuang You's calm pupils seemed to hold a profound depth that saw through everything. Hua Xiao's pupils contracted, and she hurriedly withdrew her gaze, lowered her eyes, and buried her head so low that she almost buried it in her chest.
Zhuangyou walked over, and from this angle, she could clearly see how thin and bony she was beneath her large clothes.
No matter how much she wanted to say, it all turned into a sigh. Zhuangyou gave her a deep look.
Hua Xiao nervously clutched the hem of her clothes, her guilty conscience making her clearly feel Zhuang You's gaze, which sent chills down her spine.

It wasn't until a gentle breeze blew that she suddenly shivered and snapped back to her senses. She quickly grabbed the railing of the corridor and stumbled back to her room, her legs feeling weak.
Xuan Di had finished washing up and walked out of the side hall with his long, black hair loose. Dressed in a white robe, his handsome profile, bathed in the moonlight, made him look like a celestial being.
Zhuang You walked over without even lifting her eyelids, curtsied, and handed over warm water. Glancing at the footprints at the entrance of the side hall, she smiled and asked with great concern, "Fifth Young Master, was the water temperature just right?"
Xuan Di raised an eyebrow and glanced at Zhuang You with annoyance. He knew perfectly well that it was Zhuang You and Granny Jiang who had deliberately ignored the situation, allowing the little girl to sneak in.
He found Zhuang You's smile particularly irritating. He suddenly remembered that she had just come to his rescue. But that wasn't a rescue at all; she was clearly just trying to make him look bad!
Xuan Di slammed his hand on the tray she was holding, stood up, grabbed his coat and put it on, then called out to the outside, "Battlefield! You stupid tiger, where have you been?! Get out here and come with me for a midnight snack! I want roasted rabbit meat."
Zhuang You's smile froze. Seeing that Xuan Di was really about to leave, she quickly stepped forward to stop him. "Fifth Young Master! Our little princess has already retired for the night. Why don't you rest early too?"
"Asleep?" Xuan Di was quite surprised. This little rascal was hard to coax and rarely went to sleep obediently. However, he then realized that the little dumpling had been running around outside all day, so it was normal for him to fall asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.
