Upon hearing this, the little boy smiled sweetly at the two of them and said in a soft, sweet voice, "Really! Big brother is so kind. Then let's do it according to Niannian's habits. Thank you for taking care of me, big brother!"
That sweet, soft little voice was so adorable that the purple-robed youth forgot all about arguing with Qin Zhouli and just scratched his head sheepishly, chuckling to himself.
So, the little boy quickly pulled his brother in the purple robe to a place three times as far away, where the copper pot in the distance was almost just a tiny dot.
The purple-robed youth finally realized something was amiss and forced a dry laugh, asking, "This... little sister, are you sure?"
The little boy nodded and said in his childish voice, "Yes, I'm sure! Let's begin!"
The purple-robed youth gave a stiff smile and glanced at Qin Zhouli.
The latter covered her face.
The smiling Duke Zhongwu now only wanted to go up and beat this brat who had suddenly appeared to death!
"Let's begin." Duke Zhongwu gritted his teeth, his smile chilling.
The purple-robed youth took a long bamboo arrow, held it level, tested its feel from both ends, and then threw it out with a "whoosh".
"Bang—"
It touched the edge of the copper kettle.
"Hey! Just a little bit more! Just a little bit more!"
The little girl neatly placed the long arrows aside, then squatted down, picked one up, closed one round eye, and opened the other eye wide, intently aiming at the bucket.
"Niannian is the best! She'll definitely make the shot!" Xiaowenlian happily cheered for her best friend.
Qin Zhouli quickly covered her mouth, "Which side are you on!"
Xiao Wenlian looked up at him curiously, then smiled obediently, "Of course it's from Niannian's side!"
Qin Zhouli took a deep breath.
The next moment, he felt something fly past his ear with a "whoosh," making the back of his head feel cold.
He stared blankly ahead and saw a bolt of lightning pierce the wind, flying out with a "whoosh" and landing precisely in the copper pot with a "clang," the residual force causing the heavy pot to tremble and shake slightly.
Seeing this, Qin Zhouli was dumbfounded and dared not utter a sound.
He glanced at the still-vibrating bronze kettle, then at the little boy who had exclaimed happily in his childish voice, "Wow, Nian Nian hit the target!" and stiffly asked the purple-clad boy, "Hu Chang, are you moved?"
The purple-clad youth, Hu Chang, stood frozen, holding the bamboo arrow, saying, "I dare not move, I dare not move."
Duke Zhongwu slapped his face, heavily erasing his stiff smile and turning into a worried expression.
The young boy was dumbfounded.
There were only three little dumplings, happily hopping and jumping, just like three little dumplings.
Wow! Niannian is so great!
"If Niannian gets a few more, then Brother Zhouli will look down on us again! Humph!"
Changyin and Wenlian held hands and happily ran over to the little boy. In the blink of an eye, they showed their disdain for Qin Zhouli and even stuck out their little tongues at him triumphantly.
Qin Zhouli's face darkened. He raised his hand and slapped Hu Chang on the shoulder, gritting his teeth, "Hu Chang, don't be a coward! Look at you, you're just a little kid! I'm waiting to see how you decide the outcome in one round!"
Hearing these incredibly familiar words, Hu Chang broke out in a cold sweat. He really wanted to cover his face and run away, but he gritted his teeth and retorted, "I just said that if Niannian goes, we're guaranteed to win. I wasn't the one who said that! Whoever said that, let them come!"
The little baby giggled as he watched his two older brothers cheer each other on. He took the long bamboo arrow handed to him by his little sister, and with a "whoosh," he threw it out again, which landed steadily in the copper pot.
