Chapter 189, /.

"Your Highness, I suddenly realized that a black bear often appears in that area ahead," Tong Youlin said to Huo Chengche, pointing ahead.

Black bear? Mr. Blackie?

Huo Chengche raised his eyebrows slightly. Although it seemed absurd, he had a gut feeling that his little one was talking about the black bear.

Sure enough, he glanced at the little bundle of joy huddled together. Upon hearing Tong Youlin's words, her bright, dark eyes immediately sparkled, her little eyebrows curved, and she opened her mouth to say something.

"Mmm!"

Huo Chengche immediately covered his wife's face with his hands, then looked up, intending to divert Tong Youlin's attention, when he saw Tong Youlin mysteriously leaning over and whispering to him:

"Your Highness, this black bear is exceptionally fierce. Now the little princess has heard that it fought with those poisonous snakes. Do you think it might be the mount of the mountain god, sent by the mountain god to protect us?"

Huo Chengche: ...

He sighed and decisively let go of his wife's hand. He figured he could let his little one say whatever she wanted; the honest and kind villagers would find a good reason for her anyway, so he didn't need to worry about it.

"Your Highness, do you think what I said makes sense?" Tong Youlin asked Huo Chengche with a confident smile, his posture suggesting he was about to take credit.

Huo Chengche looked at Tong Youlin, pursed his thin lips, sighed under his expectant gaze, patted his shoulder, and then ruffled the little bun's fluffy head. "Alright, let's say goodbye to Sister Nian Nian Rabbit and go find Mr. Hei Hei."

"Okay!" the little dumpling replied in a sweet, childish voice, and then happily took off running forward on his short legs.

However, on one rare occasion when a certain young tiger was around, it didn't immediately slink away and cling to its little master. Instead, it lay motionless on the ground and secretly glanced at the little boy to see if he had run far away.

They've gone too far! Now's the time!

The little tiger stuck out its little bottom, and with a "whoosh," its paw lifted up and accurately slapped a white, tender little rabbit.

"?!"

A trembling little rabbit let out a pitiful wail, and when it looked up, it was met with the gaping maw of a little tiger.

Waaaaah~

"White! Egg! Egg!"

A fierce little voice suddenly rang out, startling a little tiger that was about to feast. It trembled and its guilty eyes darted over. With a twitch of its little paw, the little rabbit that it had secretly patted disappeared in a flash.

However, the little tiger had no time to pay attention to it at the moment, because a little baby was striding over with its short legs, pouting its pink and chubby face, looking fierce.

The little tiger, caught red-handed, was nowhere near as majestic and domineering as when it was patting the rabbit. It was so scared that it cowered and hid its ears, curled up into a small ball, and lay on the ground with pitiful little eyes looking up. Anyone who didn't know better would think that it was the one who had almost been eaten.

The little bun fiercely stuck out its chubby little finger and poked it hard on its tiger head. It pouted, its little face hardened, and it scolded the tiger in a childish voice, "Bad tiger! How could you bully Sister Rabbit! You're not allowed to eat meat today!"

"Awoo (No) —"

White Egg let out a mournful cry.

Unlike the prince, this serious and earnest little dumpling wouldn't be so unprincipled. She gave a fierce "humph," her little voice resolute, "You can only eat grass! Bunny Sister has told us so many things, she's our friend, how can you hurt your friend!"

"Awooo... (She was clearly terrified, and vomited up everything she knew!)"

White Egg pouted and said something in a low voice, sounding quite aggrieved.
